Just FYI, when talking about the language of the Scottish highlands, it is more widely accepted to pronounce it as gal-ick /ˈɡælɪk/, as /ˈɡeɪlɪk/ is reserved for Irish and Manx Gaelic. Also, surnames derived from (Scottish) Gaelic patronymics are more likely to be rendered as Mac (with an a) in English as opposed to Mc which is used more often for names of Irish origin. You could also (just if you really wanted!) have given the names in Scottish Gaelic, which in this case would have been Màiri Anna NicLeòid, with the surname MacLeòid for male family members. Her Brother was Johann Kaspar Kohl (20th Jan. 1699 Gätzenhain Hassia - 14th Jan 1762 same place) - this seems to be the direct ancestor of former german cancellor Helmuth Kohl.
