Hi, Matt. I have a small correction but one that is nonetheless important to me. At 7:54 when you're talking about Mary Anne's mother tongue, you pronounced Gaelic as gay-lick /ˈɡeɪlɪk/. Just FYI, when talking about the language of the Scottish highlands, it is more widely accepted to pronounce it as gal-ick /ˈɡælɪk/, as /ˈɡeɪlɪk/ is reserved for Irish and Manx Gaelic.
Also, surnames derived from (Scottish) Gaelic patronymics are more likely to be rendered as Mac (with an a) in English as opposed to Mc which is used more often for names of Irish origin. You could also (just if you really wanted!) have given the names in Scottish Gaelic, which in this case would have been Màiri Anna NicLeòid, with the surname MacLeòid for male family members.
      Thanks for another brilliant video.

      To be noted:
Being an opponent in a political election doesn’t give one a get out of jail card for alleged crimes that evidence leans towards a possible conviction. I’m sure that we all agree that one should not be exempt from prosecution for alleged crimes, just because one is running in an election. That would lead anyone running in an election to commit a crime, knowing that his crimes can’t be prosecuted. Is that how we want our justice to work?

this is chat gpt's answer: Donald Trump's grandfather, Frederick Trump, was a German-American businessman who immigrated to the United States in 1885. During the Klondike Gold Rush, he operated establishments in the Pacific Northwest and Canada that provided lodging, food, and other services to miners. Historical accounts indicate that some of these establishments, such as the Arctic Restaurant and Hotel in Bennett, British Columbia, offered "private boxes for ladies and parties," which were often associated with prostitution during that era.
While it's documented that Frederick Trump's businesses included such private rooms, the extent of his direct involvement in operating brothels is a subject of debate among historians. Some sources suggest that his establishments functioned as brothels, while others argue that they were primarily restaurants and hotels that may have permitted such activities on the premises.
In summary, Frederick Trump's businesses during the Klondike Gold Rush era did include elements commonly associated with brothels at the time, but the precise nature and extent of his involvement in operating brothels remain topics of historical discussion.
