you are SO knowledgeable ...pleasure to see your video how old does a pomegranate tree need to be to fruit ? do you know about the pakistan white mulberry ?
Edgar, could you post the issue (month/year) of the Pomegranate Fruit Gardener you showed in this video. All my copies are in pdf format so I can't easily leaf through the covers to find it. Thanks...John WLA/LA chapters.
Hi I am from Kenya I have a pomegranate tree it catches diseases very quickly also fruit is not as sweet as before the pomegranate tree I have is from Oman..... kindly advise what I should do
Terrific presentation. I am new member to CRFG/LA. I make Melomel. That is mead which is honey wine with fruit. Do you know anyone who has a lot of pomegranates that would like to see them fermented?
Edgar, I wish we had more incredible people like you who dedicate years to gathering this knowledge. Your work with dragon fruit is mindblowing, to say the least. Is it possible to get any of your varieties in Canada? Our selection is extremely limited here and it has only gotten worse since the pandemic. I'd love to see something like Pithaya Asunta and Azadi here. My niche is usually plants that prefer a Mediterranean climate such as citrus, figs, and pomegranates but I'm starting to develop an interest in dragon fruit after seeing your tireless research. Many thanks, sir.
I have enjoyed finding your videos and all your lovely property with the marvelous fruits. I am in Florida and have a Wonderful pomegranate for about five years that has never bloomed. Now after seeing what you have I wonder how I can get some of these varieties. Can you help me? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. My best wishes to you and your in these difficult times.
Thanks for making the video Edgar. Please make more about growing dragon fruit. I have Azadi growing from a cutting I picked up at the scion exchange 2019. Hope to get fruit next year. Parfianka and Eversweet also growing from the same scion exchange.
Really great information. I also love really sweet fruit and love to start plants from cuttings. Here in Florida, I don't worry so much for the cold as it got into upper 20's just 3 times this year but it is really wet. I have a feeling a pomegranate wouldn't do so well and I've never seen one growing her in North Central FL. I need to check that out at some of the nurseries. Thanks for all the information and also providing credit to the people that worked so hard to develop these fruits.
Excellent video. I was thinking of growing pomegranates. Do you know where I can obtain seeds for that variety? I live in Europe so I guess seeds is the easiest way for me.
Hello Ed,I watched many of your videos about dragonfruit and I wish to grow this wonderful plant but in my country Tunisia but the plant is not common although we have a lot of prickly pear.
Your hope is fulfilled. This video was most helpful. Thank you!
Thumbs up 👍🏼. I’m definitely going to try and grow that one
