    Can these be grown in zone 6B?

    • @IVOrganic
      @IVOrganic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Zone 7 is the lowest most pomegranates should be grown- the red varieties are more hardy than the light/ white varieties. I’d start with one in container that you can move indoors when temps fall below 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit- and begin propagating cuttings into your backyard orchard to see how well they survive year after year- usually, if your plants can get through 2 years of winter, they will better tolerate the coldest days of winter. Keep us posted on your growing successes!

    Hi. I ordered and received a Parfianka pomegranate thru you all. Basically just sticks in a pot. How do I even know it’s alive? Is there some care instructions?

      It’s winter, so leafless sticks is normal. But if in doubt, you can perform the “scratch test” where you scrape off a tiny bit of bark with your fingernail. If it’s green under the surface, it’s alive.

    Hey Malki, I've been following for years and received cuttings of different varieties of figs from you before and I also ordered a pomegranate tree with no issue but my neighbor ordered the Parfianka and he's been charged but no confirmation emails and there's no responses to his emails or voice messages he's left for days.
