So that people more interested in cheering for a celebrity rather than listening intently to policy questions that have profound implications on the future of this Country. Have you been to any of Donald’s recent rallies? People cheer at his ramblings about Sharks in the water. It’s quite disheartening and rather disturbing to see people stand for hours listening to nothing remotely near policy directives that have global implications. Ramblings on grievances, they are out to get you by persecuting me, I was robbed in 2020 and the list just goes on and on. It’s quite fascinating how low his supporters set their expectations and will allow themselves to accept in a leader while simultaneously being downright frightening. So I’ll pass on an audience being present and allowed to cheer or jeer as if this is an election for homecoming king instead of the President of the United States.

Humans are no different and Donald is a master at understanding behaviors and manipulating it to his benefit and also utilizing media via his celebrity status. They don’t want to sit for hours listening to policy issues and past global mistakes that over years have created ramifications with financial and inflationary pressures on employment and the economy. I Imagine MSNBC will provide the debate questions to the Biden/Obama team before the debate so they can prep Joe. CNN is moderating the first debate. I believe Fox is hosting the second debate. Fox usually moderates one of the debates, actually.
I don’t remember MSNBC moderating a debate, come to think of it. NBC takes that role, if they do it at all.
The networks that usually host and moderate are PBS/CBS/ABC/NBC/Fox/CNN.
