    Running two generators. Dewalt was better. Stratton was okay but didn’t like how the lights dimmed really bad.

      So i got my second generator! Its been amazing to run two generators back to back and not have to worry!
      One tip! Use a power strip. You may experience kick outs if you dont. We had a bad storm early this summer and i needed to run these. I totally forgot i have power strips and was running power straight from the appliances. I put a power strip and had no problem! Hope that helps and questions don’t hesitate!

    That CO protection will shut it off if there is no breeze outside. I have the same generator and i use it everyday for work. Runs great and good on gas but I have to put fan by it so it doesnt shut it off. I know it's for safety but it shouldn't be that sensitive.

      IT actually should be that sensitive..people run those in their house and garage

    Any issues running electronics on the dewalt?
    I converted mine same one to dual fuel with a gx420 gx390 dual fuel carburetor on Ebay, $30 and a little tweaking and it runs whole house showing 30% load
    I ran a new 30a breaker and circuit to an ac disconnect and run it on natural gas no problem, the carb bolted right up identical to original connections all the same
    It will definitely run a washing machine
    We run 2 mini splits wide open ceiling fans box fan lights etc. no problem

    DeWalt dxgnr6500 was running producing power shut down and now cranks but runs three seconds and dies , no power output during the three seconds run before shut down , got fuel and oil and it's not the low oil sensor bad ( it's good ) but you can disconnect the ignition coil kill switch wire and the motor runs great and keeps running but no power output,,, what is wrong with this generator ????

    You have two totally different machines . . . Dewalt is twice the size . . . .how can you compare the two in operation. The Dewalt is probably twice the cost. You are comparing Apples and Oranges 😬

    • @infoagentwisconsin2650
      @infoagentwisconsin2650  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi thanks for reaching out! Yes you are absolutely correct. They are different. If I remember. Dewalt was around $1200 and the other one was less. My review was based off of what they can do. How they handled a situation when generators were needed at a desperate time. I know some generators that performed very well at less watts. Those were more of the older models that my parents had. I don’t recall name nor model. Given some generators operate differently. I thought it was very beneficial of this review to get the jift of an idea how they handled comparing to each other and things to be connected. Thank you for watching please subscribe more items are to be reviewed. Stay safe
