I used mine after freeze in texas, power was out for days...it ran heaters tv fridge , internet, everything we needed.
I’m trying to get a good understanding of the sound output. While running, would you consider the Dewalt to be louder, as loud as, or not as loud as a push lawnmower?
@@juansalazar5804 it's very loud ...while it's running outside the noise kinda goes away , you tune it out but if your next to it it's loud...I have the dxgnr8000. Loud but worth it
Who lives in an upper apartment and has a huge loud ass generator, lol this review is a joke for that remark alone
I bought the same model. Only used it a couple times for testing purposes. Reasonably runs my 1500 sq ft house; lights, 2 fridges, furnace, microwave…. Have the 30A plugged into my main breaker box. Haven’t tried running 220v items yet. I have heard in general the CO Sense can be a little too sensitive and shuts down when the wind blows the wrong way, I haven’t had any issues so far. But i did get rid of the cheap Torch spark plug. Have you had any issues?
What brand or model spark plug did replace it with?
Did it come with the charger cord?
Thanks for this video it help me decide to get the same. I am not sure why there aren’t any for the 8000 series? I do see a few for the 7000. I would like to see others videos from 8000 series just to compare. Thanks

Ha Ha Ha, you sound like me a few weeks ago; well let me tell you: Good luck getting any help from the real manufacturer "generac" on this unit.
They'll just tell you to get help from your local dealer, and poor you if you don't have a part number so your dealer can help you at all!
And you probably have a better chance of finding an original bible written by Jesus himself than you do of getting a service manual from these people.
