Zora sword also allows for shield use & combined with a Zonaite shield with a hydrant attached, will provide the attack bonus without having to complete the Zora quest.
Another excellent quick guide, I have come across several of your videos in my TOTK playthrough and they do not disappoint. Very straightforward, easy to follow and no frills or filler nonsense like many other videos on YT. Keep up the great work!!
If you want to absolute destroy almost everything with it: Fuse any ice material to you shield then do a shield bass (ZL+A) then charge attack, the first hit will do 3x more damage and the enemy will be open to receive the full combo, which is around 5 hits with the first charge so: 154*3(Critical hit after hitting freezed enemy) + 154*4(number of hits) = 1078, there's no enemy that can be freezed that will survive that, if Lynel could be freezed then they would die in 1.5 times this combo, if u use the Barbarian/Fierce Deity/Attack food with that the you could combo kill a Silver Lynel
Technically you would deal more damage if you put an Ice Gleeok Horn on a Royal Sword for example. You would deal double damage during a flurry rush and each second hit is a hit where you damage the enemy in a frozen state, meaning with a Royal Sword with +10 Attack and Ice Gleeok Horn deals 64 base damage, flurry rushing does double it up to 128 damage for 7 Hits, three of the 7 Hits will again have a Multiplicator of 3, meaning 384. And so you will have a total of 3*384 + 4*128 = 1664 Damage within a single Flurry Rush
Alternative for people. This is strong, but it’s a bit hard to get. A gerudo scimitar does something similar though. Any item fused to it will do double damage. The side effect however is that it gains no durability bonus, so it’s a very limited weapon. I personally have one which has a gloom sword strapped to it, giving it a total damage 98. Gloom swords are relatively easy to come by, but basically any high level enemy horn will have something like 40 damage, which gives your scimitar plenty of damage.
It was actually someone that saw one of my videos and commented that let me know about it. Not sure how he got the info/if he thought of it, but whoever did is a genius lol.
I typically use the scimitar of the seven because while you have lower power and durability you don’t have to keep yourself wet also I found that using a thunder gleeok horn as the fuse material for the light scale trident was best as you don’t really need the extra damage and the lightning effect from the gleeok horn is really nice when you fight because you can put enemies in a stun lock and disarm them the effect is also boosted by the wetness which makes it good for group damage as well
I use both aswell as a Gerudo spear & a Zora sword for multiple scenarios. One weapon combines the Gerudo ability with a Lynel horn for high attack power at all times. The other Gerudo weapon uses a Molduga jaw for higher attack power when wearing Bone Proficiency armour. Same thing with both Zora weapons & I've got higher attack power when wet, & the highest attack power of all when combining wetness & Bone Proficiency. Makes it very easy to pull off instakills against sleeping Hinoxes with a charge attack.
Rare Stone Talus drop diamonds most if not every time… Also you’ll only find Zora spears in the depths if you already found and broke a decayed one from the surface
@@SaU3R Well You can always use the bow item dupe method. You fuse an item to clone on a equiped bow, open menu, drop equiped bow, equip any other bow, unpause and pause as fast as possible, drop equiped bow. A good indicator if it worked is if the bows stack on top of each other. You will get 1 duped item everytime. The above slightly altered can be used to clone weapons (patch 1.0), another similar method as above via incorporating save loading you can dupe weapons on any current patch.
@@SaU3R it appears that my reply was marked as promoting (even though I just wanted to share the details) so I'll try one more time. The glitch I am mentioning can be observed and is described in the video "Tears of the Kingdom - 999 fairies".
There are always a few Lizalfos immediately west of Zora’s domain, outside of the caves. Every time I’ve checked one of them has a Zora Spear. Just set your Sensor+ to Zora Spear and leave Zora’s Domain otherwise the sensor will pick up the guards spears.
There's a guaranteed Zora spear to the east side of Tabahl Woods. Just follow the road and you should see a blue lizalfos carrying it. If you want to get the decayed version of the zora sword and longsword, both can be reliable found on lizalfos in the pond where Vah Ruta stood at the end of BotW.
Lol back in my day we could go down to the local stand and get a bushel of apples and some milk for a mere 10 rupees then the calamity ended and now the prices have more than doubled. I'm glad the world is ending again might see some decrease in the cost of living.
Why use a silver lynel saber horn, and not a molduga jaw? With it you can wear armor with bone proficiency for another boost, and you can get the attack up through food.
Very clever idea of you to fuse the weapon to trick them. It is easier to repair the trident via an octorock, and also much cheaper too. Spending another 4 diamonds for repair is not worth it when it can be done for free. Also you can farm useful octoballoons from the octorocks at the same time
6:30 Better yet, attach a Molduga jaw. 22 + 32 = 54 base attack power, doubled to 108 when wet. Not as high as 154, until you gain Bone Proficiency using the Evil Spirit outfit or Radiant outfit, then it has an attack power of 194.
Will a buff on the Zora spear be removed when it's upgraded to the light scale trident? Or, will the trident be stuck with whatever yellow buff was on the spear? I have a Zora spear and wondering if I should bother getting the buff I'd rather have on it to 2nd level (yellow) using octorocks or not.
Love how the thumbnail gives the Royal guard’s claymore, seemingly everyone’s favorite weapon, the middle finger. Personally never understood why people consider it that the strongest when you can only use its full power on one opponent…. Or when throwing….. or under other very specific circumstances
Holy shit. I did Sidons domain quest over a dozen hours ago and never bothered getting the signature weapon because i jad no idea about this. Definitely gonna make at least 1 now, maybe 2 or even 3.
Btw a lot of people don’t know this but spears in totk do much less damage than the game says they do in the inventory menu (spears deal 3/4 of the damage that the game says they do) so the wet lightscale trident with a silver lynel saber horn only does around 116 damage. It’s still pretty great but not as good as the scimitar of the seven (Urbosa’s weapon) which does 138 damage with a silver lynel saber horn and one-handed swords actually do the damage that the game says they do.
Im so glad that I've just been carrying the Lightscale trident in my inventory this whole time. I wanted to bring the other champions with me into battle against Ganon. I miss them... 😢
Easiest was to repair ANY weapon or Bow is to fuse them to a shield in their original state. I’ve also found it’s a neat way to store double the amount of weapons or bows, you can mount a shield that’s fused with them.
The Lightscale Trident may be the most durable weapon in the game, but there are weapons that can hit harder, especially when stat bonuses are applied. But I suppose it all comes down to the enemy in question, since not all enemies offer perfect dodge opportunities (something that the Royal weapons depend on for their 2x damage multiplier).
I mean a zora spear with +10 attack is 21 attack that's 1 behind the 22 of the Lightscale Trident and both have the same passive effects. With the upgrades from an octorock the zora spear is 152 and the Lightscale Trident is 154. I imagine the spear is much less durable but it can be directly repaired correct? Given that, you would likely need to re-roll several times to get the +10 attack bonus when repairing. It is a bit easier than hunting down diamonds and doing multi phase quests.
As long as you’re okay with losing the material you fused to your light scale you can technically repair it too. If you fuse the Lightscale trident to a weapon that Octoroks can repair, it’ll repair it fully. You can then go to Tarrey Town and split the two weapons.
I was save scumming the same LikeLike cave in this video and was having very bad RNG. I saw the Lizal shield and the entire Zora loot table multiple times without ever getting the spear to drop. I had a ton of assorted spears in my bags so I dropped one on the ground before my next LikeLike kill and the Zora Spear dropped immediately. It could be a coincidence, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case others are having bad luck.
You probably know this but in ther gerudo area on the right skyview tower on the cliffs. On ine of the round areas on the cliffs is a rare stone talus which has a higher probability of dropping rarer gems
Didn't mention that you can get it just by defeating some Lizalfos near the Zora domain. Also, you can save and load a rare ore, those with golden sparkles, until you get a diamond.
Best weapons is 2 boomerang. 1 ice lizafos 1 fire lizafos. Ice for control and fire for destruction. Combining elements in this order is highly destructive.
Ice keese wing & Fire keese wing would also give you more range. Putting a Frost emitter & a Flame emitter on a Big Wheel on a Homing cart does the same destruction as support.
I knew about the trident and its power but i didnt use it up to now because it didnt seem worth it to me because i didnt realize there was actually a way to repair them. Thx
Spears do 1.33 time less damage than actually shown so it actually does 115 damage when the Scimitar Build does more and also lets you use a shield with it
Zora sword is more powerful & durable than Gerudo scimitar & also allows for shield use. A hydrant shield activates the Zora weapon ability & both can be found/created without completing the Zora quest.
Stack 3 attack food Bone efficiency And water warrior Use lightscale fused with molduga jaw and get wet or use Sidon's water shield plus you can stealth attk and ad x8 multiplier and on last hit x2. O.p. a.f.
i made my lightscale tridwnt like 3 days after release as soon as i finished the zora quest since i wanted all champion weapons, but i fused it to a gleok freeze horn since when you flurry you make 1.5-2.5 times more damage, and being a 100dmg weapon it was definately op but since i didnt know how to repair it i just had to leave it on dis9lay in my home
I think that you can boost the weapon by +10 damage with the okto-rock. They will give you a random weapon boost (thats how you can get the 100 shieldblock hylian shield). With the boost the base akttac would be 87 and the attac (wet) would be 174.
the scimitar of the seven is much better imo, it permanently doubles fuse attack power with no special conditions required, and it has a higher base dmg, but all in all, the best thing to do is still to fuse a high attack power item to a one hit rk claymore and only use it to attack lynels
I never though this weapon is so powerful combine with radiant set + molduga + sidon. Charge attack to stunned gleeok is very fast to win, also can charge to molduga, rare talus, hinox and flux. Even with running poke to frox is fastest to win rather than using boulder braker or schimitar. If sidon too far, i can arrow chuchu jelly to link feet to get another 30 sec wet.
The thing is, the Weapons have a hidden damage Multiplicator Nintendo doesnt tell is about, the damage that is shown is the extra base damage that gets added by fusing it to another one, but the True damage for each weapon is the following: One handed deal the total damage they show (100%)Two Handed Weadeal 105% and spears deal 75% damage meaning spears deal 25% less damage than they show, this is for balancing purposes Because Spears have the highest attack rate, and so the Spears got nerfed basically
I am quite new to zelda but was that fierce deity sword fused with another fierce deity sword in your inventory? BTW I SUBCRIBED cause your work great!!
For anyone who wants something more obtainable than this, go to gerudo town and grab a spear and scimitar The scimitar does 127 (with the saber horn) and you can give it to an octorock for durability up to make it better. Same goes with the spear as it does 122 dmg You can also get them from the spirits in the depths
Or you could get a Zora sword & pair with a hydrant shield for better attack power & durability that's also more obtainable. Speaking of "more obtainable", how do people get a Silver Lynel horn if they can't complete a temple?
It doesn't deal more damage than the Royal Guard Claymore when that one is badly damaged. But that one is exclusive to use on Lynels. This trident can be used on any enemies and has a max damage of 154!
People really be in the comments like "uhm ackshooalyy the glitched mashter sword..." lmao Also sometimes the Bokoblins to the southwest of the Zorana tower (on the bridges on the map) carry Zora Spears, so you can get them there too.
Was the game updated to not have the octopod thing work on the trident because I’ve used this before to repair it and the fierce deity sword but it isn’t working now

Exactly the same way as Botw. After you finish the wind temple you can talk to him and he will make it for a swallow bow, 3 diamonds and 5 bundles of wood.
Definitely the best weapon byfar. Fuse it with silver lynel horn and it will last you for 3 silver lynels before breaking. And you go feed it to oktoruk
Nobody has mentioned this but Biggoron Sword fused with a Diamond.. wouldn't that be the most durable weapon? I know in botw Biggoron sword was the most durable (especially with the modifier but can't get the modifiers on the amiibo weapons) but was wondering if Biggoron Sword and Diamond = most durable, not talking about strongest just durability? Mipha always living in your heart and as a mass destruction weapon in TotK now as well
Another excellent quick guide, I have come across several of your videos in my TOTK playthrough and they do not disappoint. Very straightforward, easy to follow and no frills or filler nonsense like many other videos on YT. Keep up the great work!!
The zora spear was the biggest issue. I broke mines already by that point. I appreciate that repair tip. I didn’t know you could trick the octorok.
Can’t anymore
I just started Zora's Domain, so this is great to know. Foming back to watch when I finish the main quest.
Silver Boss Bokoblins & Captain IV Constructs can survive 1078 damage, they have 1200 HP.
And so you will have a total of 3*384 + 4*128 = 1664 Damage within a single Flurry Rush
yessir, glad to see you touch on this masterpiece of a weapon
Awesome tip about fusing to repair. I was bummed when i thought i had to buy it every time.
So you can essentially repair two pieces of equipment for one by fusing? That's a very neat/handy trick!
The marked locations for the rock octorocks are super clutch and helpful!!! Much appreciated!!!
I believe youre supposed to kill the octorock as well after it does its thing, to ensure after the blood moon it can upgrade again
It's nice that you've found a loophole in repairing legendary weapons.
If you use recall on and off you can catch any weapon from the octorocks in the air
Rare Stone Talus drop diamonds most if not every time…
Also you’ll only find Zora spears in the depths if you already found and broke a decayed one from the surface
If you are fine with using glitches, you can also duplicate diamonds with the shield hop glitch if already have at least one.
Shield hop glitch?
@@MoneybagsIsthedevil yeah what? link?
I did this glitch but it doesn't work with diamonds, only with rubies.
Light scale trident plus Molduga jaw plus evil spirit armour plus attack up 3 plus Sidon
@@Xanitrit_Zeo dude you are my hero! Found it!
I have been using this instead of the royal guard claymore because its way more durable and only need sydon to buff it up
dam bro Inflation in Hyrule is real, Three Diamonds? It used to cost one!
It’s solid in this game. In BOTW it’s sheer eye candy for my weapon rack in Hateno.
I feel like I came across these things much more naturally than in BotW
Didn't know about the trick to repair special weapons. Nice.
I have a question. What about the molduga jaw+bone proficiency+ lvl 3 atk meal?
A susgestion to make the weapon better
Can you add a molduga horn to it and use the bone damage up set with the double wet damage and attack up 3
I tested it and it works
Very clever idea of you to fuse the weapon to trick them. It is easier to repair the trident via an octorock, and also much cheaper too. Spending another 4 diamonds for repair is not worth it when it can be done for free. Also you can farm useful octoballoons from the octorocks at the same time
Awesome Video Bro!
6:30
Better yet, attach a Molduga jaw.
22 + 32 = 54 base attack power, doubled to 108 when wet.
Not as high as 154, until you gain Bone Proficiency using the Evil Spirit outfit or Radiant outfit, then it has an attack power of 194.
Wait, how much is the evil spirit outfit modifier? 1.5x?

Thank you so much. And Oh emm gee! Marshmallow is so cute 🤗😻
Sensor+ targeting Zora Spear enables faster fly-overs through the depths too.
You can also get a Zora spear by doing bazz’s quest (he’s by the upland Zora a tower)
Ya but you have to reroll everytime you repair
this guy is the Legend of Zelda
If you already cleared away the Muck you’ll find him like on your right when you go out the tower and you can still get it
damn thank you for making this. I cannot believe how much effort went into making this vid.
Use lvl 2 radiant armor with molduga jaw cause the radiant armor gives a 80% dmg increase on top of the wet damadge increase
It could be a coincidence, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case others are having bad luck.
what about if you had bone weapon proficiency with a molduga jaw on the lightscale trident? does the proficiency still stack with water warrior?
You probably know this but in ther gerudo area on the right skyview tower on the cliffs. On ine of the round areas on the cliffs is a rare stone talus which has a higher probability of dropping rarer gems
Didn't mention that you can get it just by defeating some Lizalfos near the Zora domain.
Also, you can save and load a rare ore, those with golden sparkles, until you get a diamond.
I love how every 10 minutes another dude comes in with his NEW OP OMG WEAPON UNBEATABLE 3000 DO THIS FAST TRUE BEST NO CLICKBAIT video.
Thx
@itsshatter I love the background music. What is it??
what about fusing it will molduga using bone armor and attack buff
Would an attack up +10 Zora long sword be better with molduga jaw bone prof? Or is the tridents attack rate that much faster
nobody has a full list of the octos on youtube many thanks
Great content bro keep up the amazing work
Spears do 1.33 time less damage than actually shown so it actually does 115 damage when the Scimitar Build does more and also lets you use a shield with it
Zora sword is more powerful & durable than Gerudo scimitar & also allows for shield use.
A hydrant shield activates the Zora weapon ability & both can be found/created without completing the Zora quest.
Where did you get the Zora Shield? any good way to consistently get one?
have a great saturday
Stack 3 attack food
Bone efficiency
And water warrior
Use lightscale fused with molduga jaw and get wet or use Sidon's water shield plus you can stealth attk and ad x8 multiplier and on last hit x2.
O.p. a.f.
i made my lightscale tridwnt like 3 days after release as soon as i finished the zora quest since i wanted all champion weapons, but i fused it to a gleok freeze horn since when you flurry you make 1.5-2.5 times more damage, and being a 100dmg weapon it was definately op but since i didnt know how to repair it i just had to leave it on dis9lay in my home
This item is insane.
Do bows really break when you just shoot arrows?
thats all they do lol, weapons break when u use them bc thats all they do
@@xqzyu lol!! and shatter into hundreds of pieces.
I think that you can boost the weapon by +10 damage with the okto-rock. They will give you a random weapon boost (thats how you can get the 100 shieldblock hylian shield). With the boost the base akttac would be 87 and the attac (wet) would be 174.
the octorok wont upgrade the trident because it is "legendary". good thought though,
@@ItsShatter Thanks for the information👍.
how do you get yourself wet to actually do damage? do you have to use sidon's ability each time? how long does the wet status even last?
yes, it lasts for around a minute, usually enough time to get through any fight if you use it before going in.
the scimitar of the seven is much better imo, it permanently doubles fuse attack power with no special conditions required, and it has a higher base dmg, but all in all, the best thing to do is still to fuse a high attack power item to a one hit rk claymore and only use it to attack lynels
Hi Marshmallow!
The thing is, the Weapons have a hidden damage Multiplicator Nintendo doesnt tell is about, the damage that is shown is the extra base damage that gets added by fusing it to another one, but the True damage for each weapon is the following:
One handed deal the total damage they show (100%)Two Handed Weadeal 105% and spears deal 75% damage meaning spears deal 25% less damage than they show, this is for balancing purposes Because Spears have the highest attack rate, and so the Spears got nerfed basically
I have five silver lynel saber horn lightscale tridents from the likelike duplication method.
I am quite new to zelda but was that fierce deity sword fused with another fierce deity sword in your inventory?
BTW I SUBCRIBED cause your work great!!
yes. I had more than one from Amiibos and just wanted to make storing them more space-efficient lol
For anyone who wants something more obtainable than this, go to gerudo town and grab a spear and scimitar
The scimitar does 127 (with the saber horn) and you can give it to an octorock for durability up to make it better. Same goes with the spear as it does 122 dmg
You can also get them from the spirits in the depths
Do you know the durability values of the Gerudo weapons with Durability+ compared to the legendary variants, by chance?
Or you could get a Zora sword & pair with a hydrant shield for better attack power & durability that's also more obtainable.
Speaking of "more obtainable", how do people get a Silver Lynel horn if they can't complete a temple?
Idk if you mentioned it but if you use a pristine vs a tarnished zora spear does it make any changes to the light scale trident, or no?
Nope! It doesn't matter
Better than the ones in the other video?
It doesn't deal more damage than the Royal Guard Claymore when that one is badly damaged. But that one is exclusive to use on Lynels. This trident can be used on any enemies and has a max damage of 154!
@@ItsShatter Fair, Im assuming you are making videos for glitchless plays btw?
For the diamonds it’s easier to get 1 and dupe it if you know how, if not look it up as it is very simple
It's been patched
People really be in the comments like "uhm ackshooalyy the glitched mashter sword..." lmao
Also sometimes the Bokoblins to the southwest of the Zorana tower (on the bridges on the map) carry Zora Spears, so you can get them there too.
well, the glitched master sword is busted. Its just any weapon in the game + 30 damage + unbreakable. So no matter what it is the strongest
Was the game updated to not have the octopod thing work on the trident because I’ve used this before to repair it and the fierce deity sword but it isn’t working now
That is possible. Would be very lame if this is the case.
The fierce deity sword is also legendary, use a stick.
You also need to kill the Rocktoroc after it does the repair for the new one after the blood moon to do a new repair.
But what happens if you fuse the Royal Guard’s Claymore to the Lightscale Trident and have a wet state?
The rock Octorok doesn’t repair a weapon and it’s fused material?
Doesn’t the zora ability that u mentioned that allows u to get wet wear off the moment u attack? So basically the buff is active for one hit or no?
no you stay wet for a good minute or so, probably more than 2x longer than the cooldown on his ability
Link remains "dripping wet" for a short while afterwards. Just grab the water bubble every time it's off cooldown and you're pretty-much permanently wet :)
you can just not buy the desert voe set because the sidon affect can be used before you ever take damage
great video!! and happy weekend to you and marshmallow too!!
A video on most durable weapons would be neat, not necessarily a strong Lynel horn build but just last longer
You can find the biggoron sword in game naturally in the chasm in skull lakes eye

Yes, & this pairs well with a pristine Zora Sword with attack up +10.
Hey dude, can you get the other champion's weapons?
Update: i have gotten the quest to get the great eagle bow
that is an excellent question. Will try to find out asap.
I already cleared the wind temple, but i don't have the game on me rn, also from the video it seems that it's the same method as in botw but with a pre requisite
I got the Scimitar of the Seven wich is the gerudo sage's weapon so i guess you can
Yes. At Goron City you can get Boulder Breaker. You need the same amount of diamonds and flint. You'll also need the Goron weapon, Cobble Crusher. Talk to the NPC at the weaponsmith to create the weapon.
At Gerudo Town you can get Scimitar of the Seven. You need to first save the owner of the jewelery shop by first talking to the associate there to get the quest. You will fight a Molduga and save her. You'll require the same amount of diamonds and flint; you'll also need a Gerudo Scimitar. Talk to the lady you saved (who should now be in front of the Jewelery shop) to craft the weapon.
To get The Great Eagle Bow from the Ritos, talk to the Rito leader (i forgot his name but he's chatting with Tulin). Once again, you need the same amount of diamonds and flint and need the Rito weapon, Swallow Bow. Talk to him to create the weapon
