- Early this year, Rowden and Leizl decided to get married on July 8, 2014, Rowden's 30th birthday. Together with their adorable 2-year-old daughter, they already had a perfect family.
Then a twist of fate, Rowden got diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer in late May. His last request was to marry his one true love. After 12hours of preparations, his dream was fulfilled. Unable to take him outside the hospital, we brought the church to him. It was like a heartbreaking fairytale.
Rowden Go, at the age of 29-years-old, passed away on June 11, 2014. Less than 10hours after he said his vows.
He is survived by his wife Leizel May, daughter Zakiah Rowzel, mother Lorelei, and brothers Hasset & Hisham.

That's so unbelievable, amazing and wonderful true love in the world. I'm going to drop down my tears. Even just only few hours for that marriage, but they loved, they tried, they're not regret. That memories will never be forget. God bless you all and your family.
All I see in this video is the power of true love. No sickness, no "poor this girl", nothing bad happens. Just 2 beautiful people are in love with each other and the rest cry for their happiness.

what is sadder is that all the best mans ( two of groom's brother - the one who post this video have died also with the same illness) in the span of three years...Everyone held on for the youngest brother to survived as his was detected early but sadly passed also last year in 2017...God bless their Mother who remained strong despite being broken many times over....

Just after I lost my wife I thought I should kill myself since I thought I lost everything / the most precious thing / my blessing. However, if I die, she would most probably feel very sad, so I thought again and decided to live. I would live as long as I could and I'd like to live for her. I'm sure she would be glad to see me living happily.

When I first watched this video, I was near death in the hospital. I had spent a year there, on and off. On July 4th I received lifesaving surgery to rid an infection. Thank you for this video and sharing it with us. It is comforting to know that he was not alone and was loved to the end. I thank God for all the wonderful moments in our lives, especially those we share with others.

Husband isn't trapping her in any form. And from a realistic point...of course she can marry again...but many countries as well offer benefits for widows.
But that is beside the point...the point is that he wanted to show how much he loves her by keeping his promise to marry her...and they went through with it because the one thing you need to fight cancer...is a clear mind that is full of good thoughts.
Unfortunately this young man was beyond being healed...but I would say that this was worth it....because if he had to die either way...he can at least die with his mind being a tiny bit more at ease...having fullfilled one of his biggest goals that he wanted to fullfill in his life.
Because some people who think that he's trapping her would run away if they are in that situation. They probably think it's not 'worthwhile' and it's 'stupid' to fulfill a love's wish. That being easily said, they don't put themselves in others shoes.

My condolences goes out to all of them. This was such a beautiful and truly touching event that should be cherished and remembered forever. He will be watching over them as they grow up and they will always remember his as a wonderful person.

Some of the people who've commented here have no heart, but I, for one, am glad that Rowdan made an honest woman of you Liezel, and that he was able to give his daughter his name. Whether for a day, or a lifetime, marriage ends with death. Thank you Liezel for giving just a little but of final happiness to this dear man. By the way, I was also widowed once by cancer after being married for six years. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Knowing that there are people like them is really give warm feeling in my heart. This is even better than any love story out there the truth about this people is give me much much energy to live my miserably live. I will love my family even more than now, i was searching for somebody to love me and i realize now that i have moms. Rowden and Liezel have both beautiful souls and beautiful love for each other. I can see the courage and the lightness of each souls in the video. My wife and I choose to focus on the beauty, courage, and trust on the Almighty that this video shows. Death is just continuing journey of life and love......Blessings to Liezel and her daughter. Life is what it is. None of us know what the future will bring. But Rowden was so loved by Leizi, their daughter and his family, that his brother helped him marry the woman he loved and had shared a life with.
When his spirit left this mortal plane, it was lifted up with all the love of his wife, daughter, family and friends --- Because love is the only thing that transcends all and carries on within the heart of those loved.
Since I first saw this on my Fb page I dint wana watch it because I know I will cry. Then finally I had the courage to watch it and yes, it made me cry and in just a few minutes I have learned so much from this video. Love knows no sickness, no life span love is love no mater what. Love is never selfish its giving and understanding, but most of all love is accepting….

This two lovers came from Philippines.. we was so amaze the braveness of his family.. his wife and also him.. as you can see in the video.. they stay make a bow to each other even the man is dying.. its because they believe that death will never can turn them apart... even one of them gone.. the love will stay forever..

This exact date last year is when I viewed this video and it brings back memories of my son who passed away October 10, 2001 at age 18 from Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma! It's very simple - a lot of people are IDIOTS. And these IDIOTS think their opinion, however stupid it may be, has merit. It doesn't, but they're too stupid to realize this. I love the comments that say, "Well..I wouldn't do this", etc etc...well, here's the thing - NOBODY CARES what you would do. Period.
Thats becoz they dont realise how lucky they are not to be put in his situation....
What is wrong with them is that they don't understand that Leizel was not forced nor intimated to do this. They did it because their love for each other was stronger than (his) life. Heck, they even had a daughter between them.

This is so beautiful, and heartbreaking at the same time. My daddy was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer ... and when i saw him, the image of my daddy came to mind ... This is the most touching, the most beautiful wedding i've ever seen and no other wedding could top this, in my opinion. God bless them both, and may he rest peacefully in Heaven :') ❤

I kept my tears inside myself while viewing this. I want to say something, but I'm totally speechless now. Others are entitled to their opinions whether downright negative and insulting. Others didn't even believe, well each individual has his/her own mentality and comprehensions so be it. When reality is caught on video, it's either believable or bogus, but somehow we can discern what is real and what is not. At the end of the day, it's still us humans who will suffer the kind of reality we have in life we hope that extreme sadness will not happen to us, unfortunately that's why we are humans sufferings are inevitable.

One of the most endearing qualities we have as human beings is the ability to love. This tribute by Rowden's brother Hasset is a memory for his family, friends of Rowden, and the people who cared for him before passing away in the Philippines General Hospital. I would hope those of you foolish enough to leave hateful or inappropriate comments would remove them out of respect to the family.
