    This is quite peculiar to me. I have got a 2020 Citroen e-dispatch Enterprise and I don't even have the special EV button on the infotainment system there. Just a normal settings button. I can't see anything like you can see, no deferred charging or graphs etc.
    To be honest my van doesn't even have a handbook for the EV variant, just for the diesel variant.

    8 year powertrain warranty.. heard Toyota plans to offer 15y/1M mile. I wonder how long this van can run AC on medium while parked and fully charged 75kw?
    Any guess when Stellantis bring this to the USA? Any talk of Solid State Batteries?

    • @WhichEV
      @WhichEV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stellantis will probably not bring this to the USA, but it has other brands such as Ram in the USA that would be adopting its electric platforms. Running the AC parked on 75kWh would probably give you days or even weeks. Typical AC is 500W or less, so that would be about a week from 75kWh.

      @@12vLife Probably not. Most EVs still have a conventional 12V battery. Toyota is way behind on its pure BEV platform. It's electric van uses this Stellantis platform.

    But now in 2023 it will cost you 79p per kilowatt roundabout, £39 a Full charge do that twice a day? Easily done delivering And that will come very expensive most vans today have gone back on technology like the vauxhall vivaro 50kw 100mile range it doesn’t make sense Nissan Leaf was doing that sort of miles 10 years ago

      Really want an EV van, but £40k plus? Really want to ditch diesel too and be responsible, but I can’t help but feel OEMs are profiteering from our collection early adoption traits.

    I hate it when reviewers put a negative slant on recharge times of larger batteries like as if it's a downside against smaller battery models.
    The recharge rate is exactly the same! I really don't see a point of quoting 11 hours recharge time on a fast charger. Why just don't reviewers quote that you will refill the car at 25 miles for every hour plugged in on a fast charger.
    It's like giving a bad review of a pint glass on amazon because it takes twice as long to fill up compared to a half pint glass.

    • @WhichEV
      @WhichEV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not stated negatively... it's just a fact that people like to know.

    • @deansh8506
      @deansh8506 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WhichEV fair enough. But people who aren't EV clued up first thing they ask is how long does it take to charge.
      When you say 11 hours they automatically think it takes 11 hours to recharge every time you plug it in. Even though you never charge from 0%.
      Whenever anyone asks me the question I just say it recharges 25 miles every hour you are plugged in at home.

    • @WhichEV
      @WhichEV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deansh8506 Yes, but we also state the DC charging in the review, and the written review is linked to, which has all the details.

      @@deansh8506 if I came home and plugged my van in, who cares what the charge time will be, what really matters is how long it takes to top up from 20% to 80% and to what extend the charging curves dips. The media still like to put dampeners on stuff

    The p button locks the motor the electric handbrake locks the back wheels

      Nice feature on this one for traders or Amazon is if you take keys out it applies the handbrake. So back and fourth for delivery it's ideal . Really interested in components of this vehicle in terms of three phase motor type and how the inverter manages the frequency and amplitudes of supply from inverter very interesting for electrician's. electric handbrakes are horrible, thats one thing that would put me off replacing my env with one of these.

    • @WhichEV
      @WhichEV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works differently with an EV though. Some of them don't even have handbrakes separately because they have Auto Hold and park mode engages the handbrake automatically.

      @@WhichEV My Nissan ENV200 has normal handbrake, even the LEAF has. However I like the fact they this Citroen has a proper manual steering lock which is cheaper, more reliable, safer, and infinitely more secure than keyless entry. It is shame therefore they replaced a proper mechanical handbrake with an electric motor, these units are not as powerful as a mechanical handbrake, have been known to let vehicles roll down hills, and also sometimes don't work at all and cost a small fortune to replace. They also cannot be used as an emergency brake if the main brakes fail, which is one of the reasons to have a handbrake !

      @@WhichEV ENV 200 has not only proper handbrake it has proper mechanical PARK which engages a pawl in the final drive, like on an automatic ICE car. I hate technology for technology's sake, which is why I dislike Teslas so much with their electric door handles and the like.
