Miyako is a generational talent who is a virtuoso on BOTH the guitar and piano. She has been classically-trained on the piano since the age of 3. Miyako also composed & arranged "Swan Song" and this track is a neoclassical metal masterpiece. Throughout the song, you can hear motifs from Romantic-era composers Chopin (intro, main riff, solo) and Dvořák (Chorus). Miyako's piano intro in the second video is Chopin's "Étude Op. 10, No. 12 in C minor", aka the "Revolutionary Étude". To experience another masterpiece with the maestro on the piano, check out "Edge of the World" LIVE : th-cam.com/video/jQKf8Dy_chA/w-d-xo.html
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics & credits: If this was the last day you could live on this earth Would you still go on, accusing someone for today It’s better to fail than not do anything at all It is not the length, but depth of life that counts Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been through despair Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to never care You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life Sometimes the life of one can save so many more Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan SOLO: miyako / both Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan SOLO: midori [guitar] / miyako [piano] ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: miyako & LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020 ----
While the snow is falling, there is a great opportunity to watch "A Frozen Serenade", to see a heavy metal ballerina in a snow globe setting. Plus, it's more Miyako on piano, and Midori on acoustic Spanish style guitar. I know it sounds weird, but you wouldn't regret it! It's only been performed live 2 times, so there is only one version currently available to watch: th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html
Please replace your link with this one, same performance, that is full 1080p with [cc] lyrics: "A Frozen Serenade": th-cam.com/video/sEjN7dAh4ok/w-d-xo.html also, the audio on the link ending "RN8" is slightly out-of-sync on Harry's upload. It is often not noticed, but sometimes when the audio/video is slightly shifted in a reactor's editing it may make it "in-sync" or it may make it "obviously off" depending on which way it goes, early or late. Thank you. Also, if you share link to "Swan Song" with Chopin intro please use this one: th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html This is in 1080p with accurate [cc] lyrics. I appreciate Harry Vethkov Maffiosov's efforts, but now that 1080p uploads are available there is no reason to suggest videos that are 720p and have issues such as the 'sync' and with Swan Song, the embedded lyrics have a meaningful error that Harry cannot correct due to 'embedded'. There is discussion on this with Harry in the comments under Harry's Swan Song video. I simply want people to see & hear LOVEBITES in the highest quality available. Some who look for songs even choose based on number-of-views, but this method is a feedback-loop that keeps people watching lower quality videos with errors in the subtitles. I am trying to end that taking place and many LoveBitten Wolf-Pack fans seem to resist offering the higher quality videos. btw, these I suggest here are not my uploads, they are just the best quality with accurate lyrics. 🐺 dreg👁
You really need to get a set of headphones to hear these Ladies best!!!!! Really not kidding, there is so much more to it than what you hear from your computer or T.V.!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!
That is why I continue to maintain that this band is the best in rock and metal of the last 20 or 30 years at least and they should already be recognized worldwide, there is too much talent. keep reacting to any song live, pick any. Ty.
You can see why the Wolfpack recommends Swan Song with Chopin Intro version. It also has a better mix especially the piano outro. Miyako (mee·aa·kow) started playing piano at age 3 and considers herself a pianist first. She also can play the bass and drums. She also writes many of the Lovebites songs. A music prodigy is a good description. Depending the direction you want to go with their music, heavy or more or a ballad would be the difference in recommendations. Heavy songs - Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020, The Hammer Of Wrath [Official Live Video taken from "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate"], Soldier Stands Solitarily [Official Live Video from "Memorial For The Warrior Souls"], Thunder Vengeance [Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020] Lighter songs - Edge of the World Live with lyrics, 〖EPILOGUE〗【With subtitles】Daughters of the Dawn-Live in Tokyo 2019, Empty Daydream Live In Tokyo 2019
Lovebites are astounding musicians. Miyako is unreal. This song is a masterpiece. The piano outro never fails to move me. Asami is a phenomenal singer and deserves more recognition for her beautiful lyrics.
'Uplifting metal' is a great and oft used description of Lovebites' music, and yes, the use of the white outfits is an intentional part of of that theme! You will see that more and more as you get thru more of their discography! Enjoying your reactions, keep up the good work!🤘
Fami has fitted in so well to Lovebites and her audition for the job is on their YT channel. Miyako has released an EP of piano adaptations of Metal songs that really show off her compositional skills as well as her virtuoso piano playing.
The swan in Swan Song is presumably a white swan, but we can consider Miyako the Black Swan. She is a miraculous talent, plays some six instruments, composes almost half of Lovebites' music, and has performed classical recitals in addition to being a metal beast.
Great to see you put some focus on their lyrics, in addition to their exceptional musicianship. Music is a language by itself, but when you add to that meaningful lyrics that resonate in a language that's not their own (a major hurdle for native Japanese bands) ... then you realize what sets LOVEBITES apart. This is why I found this band so inspiring and motivating. Check out their recent Judgement Album, plus the lyrics, and you'll realize how deep these ladies are (e.g. the lyrics to We are the Resurrection, The Spirit Lives On, and Soldier Stands Solitarily). They aren't kawaii Japanese girls; they are young women who know who they are, and that they are on a global mission. Just this past week, they overwhelming won the Award for the world's Best Power Metal Band of 2024.
Nice Reaction. Every song you will listen to Lovebites you will say this is my favourite song because they’re the metal queens now in the planet and there is a lot of songs it amazing I suggest next song shadow maker live 2021 or set the world on fire live 2021 Lovebites never disappoint. Thanks
what avout a song with: - Miyako at piano (Liszt intro) - Neoclasical melodies (the song of the intro played on riff) - Speed.. - solos... With nes bass player of the band (the one on this video first version) - emm. and MORE surprises in mid of the song.. Lovebites "Lost in the garden" th-cam.com/video/CX3MzG36Cyw/w-d-xo.html NOTE: there are subtitles too on that version link.
During hiatus Midori began weight training in November 2021 during a hiatus in Lovebites' activities, and has since earned two silver medals in fitness competitions.
the second version you did is the better sounding version and you get the amazing intro. great reaction and welcome to the wolfpack and enjoy the ride!!!! have a great day.
When Miyako plays, the focus is on one thing that you have already discovered for yourself. Emotions. And it doesn't matter whether it's on guitar or piano (or both 😏). ❤🔥🤘🏻 Your explanations makes perfect sense in my opinion. She is indeed a very special talent, one that doesn't comes around the corner every day and she has quite rightly been given the nickname 'The Golden Touch'. She feels and lives music in a way that probably none of us can even imagine. _____________________ _"White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky, if only I could wish to see you once more"_ ♬ *Lovebites* - 'A Frozen Serenade' ♬🐺
thank you for your fine reaction and appreciation of the ladies, shade. I think "egde of the world" live would be a great next one for a reaction. or if you want to find out, how hard they can go: "soldier stands solitarily". or miyako solo on the piano doing "eagle fly free". greetings from germany.
Thanks for checking out more LOVEBITES, there is a large list of masterpieces yet to explore with these ladies, nice reaction, you will be amazed again and again at what they can do.🤘🐺🤘
MIYAKO's daily life is so friendly that you would never guess from his cool expression on stage. During her world tour, she stopped by a bar in Valencia and suddenly started a jam session. She says, “I could play the guitar a little🤣 th-cam.com/video/8ehx1d8Tmag/w-d-xo.html
There’s a great video from about a year ago of Miyako. She’d found out that a music shop had a small number of special edition Gibson guitars. Despite being a Dean Guitars signed artist she decided that she wanted one. The video shows her going to the store and trying out all of the guitars until she found the one she liked best. Despite the impression that rock stars are loaded she then has to go to the finance department to find out if she can get four years interest free credit so she can buy the Gibson!!! Worth watching to watch her testing each guitar.
@DofNE99 I want to watch that! (Probably it fun to react to) it’s sort of sad that they are so successful and need to finance things like that. I wish the pay was better. She’s way too talented for that stress 😩
The second version is from the same concert as Holy War. The "star" back drop is the cover of their 3rd album (Electric Pentagram). 🐺🤘🤘 Oh, and BTW the singer, Asami, trained in ballet for many years before taking up singing. 😊
I’ve been listening to Heavy Metal for more than 50 years. It’s been eye opening and gratifying to see that see that Metal had indeed become a universal language. In Thailand 35 years ago, I picked up an awesome cassette by a local Death Metal band. Walking down a street in Paris one night while on a business trip, I turned onto a popular bar that played only Death Metal on their sound system. And I have a huge collection of Swedish Melodic Death Metal CDs, but also Metal CDs from Poland, Germany, Finland, Norway, Taiwan, Brasil, and Puerto Rico.
Typically I'll save it for later in someone's journey into Lovebites, but I'll echo other and say go for Frozen Serenade (from 2021). It's snowing where you are, and you found the glory of Miyako's piano talents. There's a few surprises in Frozen Serenade, and it's one that I'd legitimately put in a museum. It's on another level in terms of performance. They go other directions too though. Thrash for example. They have some of the best thrash songs, and then, there's the "E" songs. Pretty much anything you react to, you'll likely find it amazing. Miyako is a generational talent, but they are all amazing. I love Asami's voice as well! And yes, if they come anywhere near you, or even if not, take the chance to go see them live. They're even better in person. It's kind of surreal how good they are.
There will never be another Miyako, EVER. We are fortunate to experience her and Lovebites in their prime. You got the pronunciation correct, Mee-ya-ko. The ending gets me every time. The Golden Touch is not like other musicians. She has the ability to compose music from a classical sense which is scary AF, in the most enjoyable way. These ladies won't let you down. Own their entire discography and only band on my bucket list. Now just need them to hit the northeast of USA. Recommend Set The World On Fire live next, Miyako nearly 5mos pregnant shredding Dimebag Darrell's signature Dean. Think Testament in heels melting your F face off. Good luck with the snow. Nothing here in Boston, MA. 🤘 PS. I'm with you, could watch her do anything. Sub to her YT channel, she is a gear junky and has videos on her gear, how she makes her guitar straps, writes heavy metal songs, unboxing her Dean Signature V, etc. She is way cool and humbled AF.
someone said Miyako shows no emotion, My comment back was you havent listined to her play. I still get shivers listening to her play certain songs. always will
Amazing Miyako-san ! She is the pride of our fans. She is a bundle of talent who devotes herself to practicing practicing & composing music、everyday. She is also mama、too!
I’d love to see you react to Famis bass cover of alien alien! It’s a goofy vocaloid song but she’s so impressive to watch! Also lovebites setup a special performance of alien alien for her. You should check it out!
As always a great reaction Kitsune, for a great song and performance. They are absolutely amamzing. You need watch Stand and deliver live!!! See you!! 🤟 🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also a big Star Wars fan. Her dog is called 'Wampa' Here she is talking about her Dean Icon Guitar with assistance from Wampa; th-cam.com/video/VORL-g6ZCrI/w-d-xo.html
I agree with you regarding the bass in the mix. I almost always wish the bass was a little bit more prominant in the mix of LOVEBITES songs. Also, the piano is so far back in the mix in the latest version of this song that I literally cannot hear it until all other instruments stop playing. I just cannot understand why the sound mixer made that choice. The old version with the Chopin introduction has much better mixing in my opinion.
Behold, the power of Miyako! Just think, when she was added to the band, it was as a mere support musician. Since then, she has just about taken over as the instrumental centerpiece. She also writes, arranges, and composes many of Lovebites songs. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it, Lovebites wouldn’t be Lovebites without Miyako.❤
Lovebites is a paradox that makes it magical: None are outright, hard-core metal heads; Asami is R&B, not an original metal head, Fami is prog, has not much experience with metal, Haruna's playing is more towards prog fusion styles with those seamless rhythms, and Midori's touches are typical of the Satriani, Vai executions. Perhaps this is the essence that permits the freedom for Composer extraordinaire, Miyako, and Mao to design those crazy, epic and complex masterpiece compositions. No surprise that being distant winner of the power metal band 2024 might have been like a walk in the park for them.
Now you know why I think Miyako is one of the greatest musical talents in metal... 😄 She's got you fired up now too, I see. 🔥 Greetings from a Dallas Cowboys fan and Dirk Nowitzki Fan too in Germany...👋
The sound the Heaven’s Gate Blu-ray is surprisingly bad. It sounds like ASAMI is singing at the far end of an airplane hanger, the drums are oppressively loud and harsh, and you can’t hear the guitars (or piano).
It's very interesting watching Miyako playing Chopin's Revolutionary Etude. She chose to become a guitar player but she could have easily become a pretty strong classical piano player if she had decided to do so. Obviously playing and touring with the band takes too much time so she can't play Chopin as good as she could have. But it is obvious that she never lost that core. If she wanted to switch back to classical piano it could take just a couple of years at most to return to form.
In an interview, she said she realised she wasn't quite a good enough pianist to become a professional concert pianist. I suspect she judges herself extremely harshly, but I'm glad she reached this conclusion, because otherwise LOVEBITES might not exist.
The white outfits are not just to show where they are at on stage, but the total opposite of what metal has been seen at over the years dark and dreary black and silver and lots of tattoos. Their songs are also the total opposite lyrics wise they have more positive messages full of encouragement.
The practical reasons for their white outfits and heels are: 1) due to their short stature: Haruna (drummer) - 146 cm, 4'9" Asami (singer) - 147 cm, 4'10" Midori - 150 cm, 4'11" Miyako - 159.5 cm, 5'2" Fami (current bassist) - 160 cm, 5'2" 2) They can use different colored lights to "dye" their outfits to reflect the themes & genres of their songs
Some knowledge of history is necessary to understand the meaning of the lyrics of this song. In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, leading to a revolution known as the “November Revolution,” which ended in failure due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's representatives presented “Etude OP10, No. 12” in Paris. Franz Liszt, a friend of Chopin, named it the “Revolutionary Etude. Miyako (guitar/keyboards) composed “Swan Song” based on this “Revolutionary Etude” and Dvorak's “New World Symphony. Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite “Swan Lake,” based on the historical background of ““Revolutionary Etude. SwanSong” is a requiem for the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only Love Bites could complete.
There's a reason why musicians are gushing over Miyako. Just like Kanami she eats, breaths and sleeps music. ..and yes she's my favourite too. ....because she's also a tech geek and a Star-Wars fan! When I watched the new version first Miya looked a bit displeased. Maybe she felt the mix was a bit of, and couldn't hear herself? She's from the classical school and very focused on what she does. I guess she didn't hear herself in the mix? You both see and hear the difference in the 2 videos. Rest of the band is top-notch too and could easily slide into any metal band. You mentioned Asami. Not sure if Operatic is the right term. But a lot of traied singers and teachers has admired her powerful voice compared to her small size. I've heard a few called her a "female Bruce Dickinson" and I can understand why.
miyako is a once in a generation talent. she also can play drums and bass. and she can sing as well - beautifully. and writes about half of their music. i will leave a link for their live song 'empty daydream ' - one of the songs she does backup vocals on - and a stirring keyboard intro. bassist miho also gets in on the vocal action - this song is sooo great : th-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/w-d-xo.html
About Miyako... Welll.... What imstrument do you play? Miyako: Yes! (Seriously what we know so far: guitar, piano, bass, a little drums, and more - don't want to spoil everything) So you are not off 😁 For some MV/live double video recommendations , if they are not present on your list :) Judgement day, Stand and Deliver , When destinies, align , Shadowmaker,
The ladies are incredibly talented. Honestly they don't miss. I've never heard even an average track from them. Check out "Soldier Stands Solitarily" and "Hammer of Wrath" (From Knockin' At Heaven's Gate). Midori (Light hair) & Miyako (Dark Hair) are among the best guitar duos I've heard ever. They are the solo and harmonizing queens. Love your GSD Chillin. He's almost identical to mine.
Yes, Miyako may be able to play the trumpet, but she certainly also plays the bass and drums well, and writes about 50 per cent of their songs, including this one, and let's not forget that she has a small zoo at home and also goes fishing

You have mentioned some characteristics of this band. "Their songs have a positive direction, not the negative image that is common in traditional metal music." "Asami's English has an accent that is difficult for English-speaking people to understand." "Their costumes are unique." In fact, when LOVEBITES first appeared, many people criticized these characteristics and rejected the band. In other words, "Their style is not metal!" However, now in 2025, I am happy that more people like you have come to appreciate their characteristics and welcome LOVEBITES. (The value of rock is the freedom to sing the music you like in the words you like and play how you like. The fact that a stereotypical trend that denies individuality has emerged is a denial of rock music, and it is sad.) ---------- from Nippon *This is a sentence using Google Translate. I hope my intention is conveyed correctly.
@@a_un to be honest, if I hadn’t stumbled upon Babymetal first, I’m not sure what my first reaction would have been. The “that’s not metal” conversation with those girls is exhausting. But, after hearing them, seeing them perform, and being welcomed by their fans, it made me way more open to other non-traditional metal “branding”. Lovebites is epic, very glad I found this group
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but by doing these two versions of Swan Song you get to see both bassists. In the 'Official' from 'Knockin' at Heavens Gate' version the bassist is Fami, the 'New Girl'. This concert in March 2023 was her first time on stage with the band when she was only 21 years old. The older version with the Chopin introduction it is founder member Miho. You mentioned Midori, the blond 'Amazon Warrior' guitarist being 'ripped'. She is a body builder who has placed high in competitions in Japan. When Lovebites were in Europe last year, often when the others members were out sight seeing, Midori would be in a local gym working out. The 'Star Cymbals' are one of Haruna's 'trade marks' that go back to her time with DESTROSE, the band she was in with Miho prior to Lovebites. She will spin them during the performance. When Lovebites were in Europe last summer although Haruna was using hired equipment, she had her Star Cymbals with her. Welcome to the Wolfpack, I think you are well and truly 'Love Bitten' 😄🐺
Oh yeah, we often forget to mention that Midori also enters body building competitions. Think she started training in lockdown as an extra activity to do. As this is a newer version this is your first time seeing their current bassist, Fami. The second version is Miho. Some of their older lives have better audio mixing. Techs for a few more recent lives didn't get quite get it right on a few things. I am looking forward to seeing what happens when you get to some of their real thrash stuff :D Miyako started piano at 3, so yeah she is quite prodigyish. Miyako is "Me Yak o", I think. But as someone who speaks no Japanese at all, someone else can correct me.
That is super cool. I am ex-bodybuilder as well. Now I just lift for fun and enjoy whiskey and smoking meat on the Traeger hahah. I knew I liked Midori for a reason!
@@ShadeReactsLive Yeah they have a piano / guitar shredder in Miyako, and a shredded shredder in Midori. In the mv for Judgement Day you can really she how much definition she has managed to get. Also that song has one of the longest guitar trade offs of their songs, though not THE longest. Nice! I lift weights, not at bodybuilder level, whilst listening to Japanese women metal. I tried it with all women Japanese hardcore punk (Otoboke Beaver) and nearly killed myself as I started laughing part way through and almost barbell'd myself >
Ay, I heard you mentioned on the Tunage podcast for the Top 5 Band Maid episode. Midori is a bodybuilder on the side. So not only can she rip your face off with her shredding, but she can do it without the guitar, too!😂😂😂j/k I prefer 'A Frozen Serenade', which has a similar vibe, but still, this is a masterpiece! Normally, I'm not a fan of power metal, but their thrash is what pulled me in! 'Thunder Vengeance' live, NOW, please!😂🙏
Ayy I am also an ex-bodybuilder! I knew I liked Midori for a reason lol Also, not sure what the Tunage Podcast is, so hopefully that is a good thing! lol
Lovebites writes incredible lyrics with positive undertone. You should react to alla the E-Songs. Thrash. Break the wall. Speed. SSS. Do you want to se Miyako play one of the hardest piano part you should react to Lost in the Garden. She plays La Campanella ❤❤❤
Forget the whole religious ideas, they are japanese and for them christian mythology is just as much fantasy as something like Lord of the Rings or whatever. If you have watched more animes you know that they sometime even name big mecha robots "angels" or have organisations with names like "G.O.D." or stuff like that. But thats really just because they seem to be obsessed with that stuff, but not in a religious way. In the end only around 1% of japanese are christian. Remember that also if you ever listen to "Glory to the world". Else for this song, yeah i think in general that the newest live videos are a bit to loud mixed on the drums, mybe HarunaFanLoveYou3000 was on the mixer there 😂 and in this song its really bad at the end that you don't hear the piano until the drums stop playing. Also in the song there is often a piano backing track, that is also nearly noticeable here.
For now you have seen grace and elegance, next time you have to try the brute force: "Break the wall", "The Hammer of Wrath" "Thunder vengeance" or the recent "Soldier Stands Solitarily"... It's the other side of Lovebites...
Snowing in Dallas, wow, that is crazy. How often does that happen? As mentioned below, it would be a good say to listen to Frozen Serenade :) Midori, the 'ripped' guitar player, decided to get into fitness competition during the 1 year hiatus of the band after Miho, the original Bassist, left the band. I believe she has actually won silver medals in a few competitions. You can see a real physical difference when comparing her in these two videos which take place after and before, the order you watched them, the hiatus.
Yepp, you do not hear the piano at all in the official one. They had mixed it wrong during the whole song. That's why there is no intro in the official one. They simply blew it. The piano at the end of the official I think is added audio for afterwards. That's why the other one is the one to listen to.
Really, thanks for doing a double react to this song (not a feature that is often done!) - deserved, as the older version outlines the piano better, which is indispensable to "Swan Song" in particular, while the newer one captures a band reinvigorated after the hiatus, and with the new bass player! Btw, this is frankly not a song to feature bass prominently, if you are interested like you seem to be, do check out their Live for "We Are the Resurrection" and "Judgement Day", or the music video for the latter. Overall, can I just leave it at - LOVEBITES are epic. \m/

One of the key things about all-female J-Metal is that it’s attractive very much because it isn’t depressing or angry. I’m too old for that shit. If the language is an issue it’s because you’re not a fan of music so much as poetry. The vocals are another instrument and listening to them in a different language helps you understand that better - I think you get it. I’ve mentioned TRiDENT before, their vocalist, Asaka, has an absolutely brilliant voice, but it seems like many people aren’t listening to the same things as I am. Saiki’s voice is all about tone, as is Asami’s, to be fair, Asaka’s is all about nuance and even when she’s surrounded by crazy, it’s still there.
@@allanmoger1838 You must be kidding. ASAMI (sing in english language) is best of the best, not just in Japan. With ASAMI voice can compere only RE:NO.
@ One of Asami’s problems is her English accent is difficult for the uninitiated to pick up on. I don’t care but that’s a common complaint. Re:NO is wonderful, she’s a talented lady, but she’s never been a “best vocalist”. R!N had many issues and left the band quickly, Re:NO made many, many more fundamental contributions in her time with Aldious, but as a vocalist, R!N is just brilliant and her English is near perfect. Still, my money is on Asaka - her nuance is brilliant, even when she’s belting out pop rock! I’d back Maiko of Lonesome_Blue too, she has a beautiful voice, but she doesn’t have it down live yet where everyone else mentioned does.
HI Shade, great reaction. That dog was sleeeeeping, lol. Yes, Midori is ripped, she is a certified fitness/bodybuilder doing compititions and winning prices. Her most prominent is, I think, in the MV to Judgement Day: th-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KL4OW_N3dtZy-reA

LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics & credits:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been through despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to never care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
SOLO: miyako / both
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time

Lovebites are phenomenal, this song is gorgeous and you did a great job with it. Cheers!

Finally lovebites gets the recognition they deserve 👏 ❤🎉
While the snow is falling, there is a great opportunity to watch "A Frozen Serenade", to see a heavy metal ballerina in a snow globe setting. Plus, it's more Miyako on piano, and Midori on acoustic Spanish style guitar. I know it sounds weird, but you wouldn't regret it! It's only been performed live 2 times, so there is only one version currently available to watch: th-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/w-d-xo.html
Please replace your link with this one, same performance, that is full 1080p with [cc] lyrics:
"A Frozen Serenade": th-cam.com/video/sEjN7dAh4ok/w-d-xo.html
also, the audio on the link ending "RN8" is slightly out-of-sync on Harry's upload. It is often not noticed, but sometimes when the audio/video is slightly shifted in a reactor's editing it may make it "in-sync" or it may make it "obviously off" depending on which way it goes, early or late.
Thank you.
Also, if you share link to "Swan Song" with Chopin intro please use this one: th-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/w-d-xo.html
This is in 1080p with accurate [cc] lyrics.

Heavy songs - Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020, The Hammer Of Wrath [Official Live Video taken from "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate"], Soldier Stands Solitarily [Official Live Video from "Memorial For The Warrior Souls"], Thunder Vengeance [Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020]
Lighter songs - Edge of the World Live with lyrics, 〖EPILOGUE〗【With subtitles】Daughters of the Dawn-Live in Tokyo 2019, Empty Daydream Live In Tokyo 2019
I was at their Paris concert. maybe the best concerts I've ever seen. The best, in fact.😊
The swan in Swan Song is presumably a white swan, but we can consider Miyako the Black Swan. She is a miraculous talent, plays some six instruments, composes almost half of Lovebites' music, and has performed classical recitals in addition to being a metal beast.
Miyako is a one in a lifetime master in her craft. She is so amazing and talented. Love from Wolfpack Sweden chapter. ❤❤❤
Miyako is a godess, beaty, talent and creativity. She's unique, "the golden touch" as Asami call her!
Nice Reaction. Every song you will listen to Lovebites you will say this is my favourite song because they’re the metal queens now in the planet and there is a lot of songs it amazing I suggest next song shadow maker live 2021 or set the world on fire live 2021 Lovebites never disappoint. Thanks
You got it right, the second video (2020 version with Chopin intro and CC) was the same performance as the "Holy War" video!
what avout a song with:
- Miyako at piano (Liszt intro)
- Neoclasical melodies (the song of the intro played on riff)
- Speed..
- solos...
With nes bass player of the band (the one on this video first version)
- emm. and MORE surprises in mid of the song..
Lovebites "Lost in the garden"
th-cam.com/video/CX3MzG36Cyw/w-d-xo.html
NOTE: there are subtitles too on that version link.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but Myako is a wife and mother and did one concert while 4 months pregnant...
Nice reaction! Miyako is a true monster of talent.
Next "Soldier Stands Solitarily" Live 2023. 195 bpm of metal goodness.
When Miyako plays, the focus is on one thing that you have already discovered for yourself. Emotions. And it doesn't matter whether it's on guitar or piano (or both 😏). ❤🔥🤘🏻
Your explanations makes perfect sense in my opinion. She is indeed a very special talent, one that doesn't comes around the corner every day and she has quite rightly been given the nickname 'The Golden Touch'. She feels and lives music in a way that probably none of us can even imagine.

thank you for your fine reaction and appreciation of the ladies, shade.
She says, “I could play the guitar a little🤣
th-cam.com/video/8ehx1d8Tmag/w-d-xo.html

Oh, and BTW the singer, Asami, trained in ballet for many years before taking up singing.
PS.
I still get shivers listening to her play certain songs. always will
Miyako's emotion is mainly in how she plays. Phenomenal
If you want to listen to a song recorded in the studio I recommend Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)
The one concert I missed in the USA! Won’t happen again
An excellent choice of song, I'm really sure the Wolfpack 🐺 will give you another masterpiece to react to can't wait.

See you!! 🤟 🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
MIyako has a dog too she even made him an instagram account. She has a lot of pets from birds and a snake.
Also a big Star Wars fan. Her dog is called 'Wampa' Here she is talking about her Dean Icon Guitar with assistance from Wampa; th-cam.com/video/VORL-g6ZCrI/w-d-xo.html
For more OMV + Live combo, check out Winds of Transylvania.
🤘🥃
The practical reasons for their white outfits and heels are:
1) due to their short stature:
Haruna (drummer) - 146 cm, 4'9"
Asami (singer) - 147 cm, 4'10"
Midori - 150 cm, 4'11"
Miyako - 159.5 cm, 5'2"
Fami (current bassist) - 160 cm, 5'2"
2) They can use different colored lights to "dye" their outfits to reflect the themes & genres of their songs
If you enjoy the ballads, check out Edge of the World. It's fantastic. Keep up the work bro.
Too bad you missed them last September, they played at the Echo Lounge. Was a fantastic show!
It's funny, you said assassin. That's one of Miyako's nicknames, The Silent Assassin.
About Miyako... Welll....
What imstrument do you play?
Miyako: Yes! (Seriously what we know so far: guitar, piano, bass, a little drums, and more - don't want to spoil everything) So you are not off 😁

Miyako is insane! Midori is really talented too, im excited to hear more from both of them. My face is ready to be melted off
Lovebites is happy princess power metal! ☺

Yes, Miyako may be able to play the trumpet, but she certainly also plays the bass and drums well, and writes about 50 per cent of their songs, including this one, and let's not forget that she has a small zoo at home and also goes fishing

Got it! Thanks! 🤘
You have mentioned some characteristics of this band. "Their songs have a positive direction, not the negative image that is common in traditional metal music." "Asami's English has an accent that is difficult for English-speaking people to understand." "Their costumes are unique."
In fact, when LOVEBITES first appeared, many people criticized these characteristics and rejected the band. In other words, "Their style is not metal!"
However, now in 2025, I am happy that more people like you have come to appreciate their characteristics and welcome LOVEBITES. (The value of rock is the freedom to sing the music you like in the words you like and play how you like. The fact that a stereotypical trend that denies individuality has emerged is a denial of rock music, and it is sad.)

from Nippon *This is a sentence using Google Translate.

Midori is jacked because she does or has done bodybuilding competition and she looks like she crush a guy with her arms or thighs lol
I am looking forward to seeing what happens when you get to some of their real thrash stuff :D
Miyako started piano at 3, so yeah she is quite prodigyish.
I tried it with all women Japanese hardcore punk (Otoboke Beaver) and nearly killed myself as I started laughing part way through and almost barbell'd myself >
yes these Ladies are friggin awesome....luv them
According to her Wikipedia page, Midori also is a fitness competitor and works out 1 to 2 hours a day... 💪
Ay, I heard you mentioned on the Tunage podcast for the Top 5 Band Maid episode.
Midori is a bodybuilder on the side. So not only can she rip your face off with her shredding, but she can do it without the guitar, too!😂😂😂j/k
I prefer 'A Frozen Serenade', which has a similar vibe, but still, this is a masterpiece!
Normally, I'm not a fan of power metal, but their thrash is what pulled me in!
'Thunder Vengeance' live, NOW, please!😂🙏
Ayy I am also an ex-bodybuilder! I knew I liked Midori for a reason lol
Also, not sure what the Tunage Podcast is, so hopefully that is a good thing! lol
2nd this. More LOVEBITES please. 🖖❤
@ShadeReactsLive oh? I swear they mentioned that you were in the chat. Maybe I heard wrong.🤷♂️
@@jaedo6180 oh! On TH-cam! Yes I stopped in and said hi while I was out of town! I didn’t make the connection from the name of the podcast.
@@ShadeReactsLive I night have gotton their name wrong. I know it's says Tunage on their thumbnails! I saw Band Maid, so I clicked!
後ろの犬❤
Midori (the "ripped" guitarist) has competed in pro bodybuilding competitions.
As mentioned below, it would be a good say to listen to Frozen Serenade :)
Midori, the 'ripped' guitar player, decided to get into fitness competition during the 1 year hiatus of the band after Miho, the original Bassist, left the band. I believe she has actually won silver medals in a few competitions. You can see a real physical difference when comparing her in these two videos which take place after and before, the order you watched them, the hiatus.
It’s almost NEVER happens! Lol
Yepp, you do not hear the piano at all in the official one. They had mixed it wrong during the whole song. That's why there is no intro in the official one. They simply blew it. The piano at the end of the official I think is added audio for afterwards. That's why the other one is the one to listen to.
The ability of Miyako aren't only in the execution, but in composition and arrangement and this song is an example!
Lovebites songs that both official MVs and official live vids are Don't Bite the Dust, Rising, and Judgment Day.
Thank you!
@@ShadeReactsLiveAnd also „Stand and deliver“ and „Nameless Warrior“ also have both.
I am not a big fan of the heavy vibrato in the vocals and took me a long time to even get used too, but musically this bad is top notch.
Miyako in lateks (Lovebites) "SONIC LOVER RECKLESS" th-cam.com/video/DXZ-qhxd1VI/w-d-xo.html
You need some redemption for your sins, react to something uplifting yet beautiful and brutal Lovebites - Glory To The World th-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/w-d-xo.html
Midori on guitar left side that you said was ripped.. is indeed ripped as hell. Her hobby is body building
Midori & Miyako (M&M)!!🎸🎸🤘
Thanks for this reaction, you keep talking about Miyako and Midori, do your self a favour bro, they, Lovebites, covered a Judas priest song called Pain Killer, listen to that song and you will definitely understand where everyone is coming from , with these ladies shredding and Haruna drumming , please do a reaction with them doing Pain Killer Judas priest, you won't be disappointed, these five ladies can do it all, cheers Tim from Australia 🦘
Since you 'hearted' every comment on Holy War except my 2, I suspect you did not see them. Maybe you will now.
Based on your request for a pair of related videos I will offer the unique opportunity of

I'm still at 2;56 ... I'll watch you watch & listen to LOVEBITES for the first time now ... 🤘

Not sure how I missed the comments on the other vid, but thanks for sharing again!
I copied this onto my list!
@@ShadeReactsLive It is not unusual for my comments to disappear or seem to go 'unseen'.
I attribute it to u2b's algorithmic attempts to moderate human communication. maybe it's my vocabulary?
I think you are going to continue to be enthusiastically surprised while enjoying every one of these songs, all 65 or so. Every suggestion is worthy.

27:31 Did you know it is angels that are gonna play trumpets...? On Judgement day? :))
your dog is alive ! i commented yesterday to check HIM for a heartbeat. now i will acknowledge that i was wrong. yes there is a heartbeat and your dog is a SHE. sorry about that . when you started poking her and she didn't move i started to wonder though ! glad you included the version with the chopin intro - you get to see the mad scientist miyako experiment on the keys.
Yeah she didn’t move a lot when I poked her 😂😂 that wasn’t a good look.
Ripped? Yes, Midori is a former competitive bodybuilder.
You can see two grown up child prodigies on the band KOIAI: Li-sa-X on guitar, and KANADE SATO on drums (the second guitarist is HAZUKI of NEMOPHILA). Here’s A NEW PICTURE - th-cam.com/video/rX6SP5bQZH8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BjBl2p7M25agqYgi
Absolutely must see! 💯%
ASAMI 🥰😍😘"THE ONE AND ONLY VOICE", she has no equal in modern music.
@ …except Saiki and Asaka… 😜 Actually R!N is the very best, but she left the J-Metal world. 😔
@@allanmoger1838 ASAMI is the rare Japan singer that sing in English language, most of them sing Japanese. Pop rock can not be rock, it is pop.
Great reaction, as usual. maybe it's time for you to listen Asterism.
