Don't forget, when they were running through the wetlands in the first exam, Killua actually told Gon they should move away from Hisoka, because of how dangerous he was. Based off this alone... he's likely admitting Hisoka is stronger then him.

He's very clearly stronger than them. Even in York New he was doing some of the arm wrestling. The anime just took all of this out for no reason.
And he ended up opening the gate with the help of Kurapika and Leorio and it was three times less heavy than what Killua had to deal with all alone without struggling
In the original he's holding it in his hand and not in a bag and its constantly beating and blood is squirting out. Its gruesome then he crushes it in front of his face. But to be honest I think this is more sadistic and brutal. He just watches him walk closer until he falls down and places it gently in his hand xD such a savage.
1999s version is darker in everything, many scenes are cut out. I like the 2011 but if they had kept the gruesomeness pf the original it would have been even more perfect
