It's clearly accepted by all characters in the scene that the game only ends in one player winning, draws don't count. That's also typically how you proceed when you play rock paper scissors for decision making.

don't rely on it having taken Hisoka 6. Hisoka is literally him. he's one of the strongest in the series, though not the strongest, and you met him this early. also in the 1999 version and manga, Killua crushed the heart

Thinking with rock paper scissors is a total waste; there is no strategy to the game if you chose not to take it serious. I do not think just do with it. All these animes that make it a serious thing kinda annoy me by making it a trope. Yeah, it's a translation thing. I don't think the word was considered a slur (at least to the ubiquitous degree it is now) back then, so I can see why they went for it as a translation for okama-chan. It's just aged _horribly._
