Winter Steelhead Fishing In Oregon

its are first trip of the winter season so we went to are main river. even though i knew it was high we went anyways. we had a great time outdoors. and we learned something new about the hatchery.

@@fightthefishpnw5455 I only had a short time to get out there today but I hooked one hot a good fight out of it then got greedy and put to much pressure on it trying to get it above the current and it popped

"Blown out river or not, I was still going fishing" I had the same attitude on my first winter camping trip to Hoh River. Blown out, turned into more camping than fishing, but sometimes, you just gotta get out there, regardless of the weather or odds

Exactly I love fishing. I have never targeted steelhead so I'm exited about it. However I have caught 2 steelhead salmon fishing when I was younger.
