when Growing Together first came out I wanted to make a big family. the couple was on their 3rd pregnancy and had triplets.😳 somehow I was able to have 2 nannies, mom did freelance writing and dad worked in tech. I played everyone thru to adulthood, it was enjoyable. until one of the triplets had triplets himself. I haven't played that save since.😂
My sim didn't have to raise her children till they hit childhood had 5 nannies that wouldn't go away the children literally aged themselves up yeah that was the funniest glitch
I must say that I LOVE how this house's furniture doesn’t really match, because it's so realistic! I'm guilty of making my houses super matchy-matchy, but having that mix of colors and styles is so real! I'm planning of doing a challenge where I get that Parenthood gallery house (which is my favorite house in the game), but completely empty, and the goal is to start from 0 simoleons and furnish it from scratch, and I'll definitely try to make this house look more realistic
Omgg my sims family had 5 kids 😭, I chose that chaos 💀. Raising 3 infants while both parents in college + 2 kids was a fun, messy nightmare!! 😅😭 There was NO routine at all. Tho I loved how full the house was, kids toys everywhere, a messy living room, & a homey kitchen ❤️🥹
I love how chaotic this turned out despite your best effort. A tip for the infants: taking care of thier needs is easier if you do it as the infant, like have the infant as to to be fed because then the caregiver sim will prioritize that task. ❤
When the sims just stand there while the infant is fussing, its because they can't override the cry or fuss actions the infant is doing. You can control the infant and cancel the cry/fuss action to get around it, but honestly it really feels like someone should make a mod for it.
Totally agree! They're darling! I loved them in Sims 2 as well! Before they could walk, you could hear their little diapers swish-swish as they crawled around.
I really appreciate the way that you see the sims and how much you enjoy the realistic aspects. Starting to feel like I was the only one who liked things to be so real in the aesthetic and gameplay. Unfortunately it isn't as real as I wish it could be because I have console version so no mods, but I try my best with what I have. Love your gameplay!

I also don’t really mind when things go ”bad”, like the kids forget to do their homeworks, stay up a little too late, have arguments or confidence drops for some time. Because it’s normal day to day life. There’s good and bad times and it adds character. There’s a whole new baby and the parents are pretty busy with everything so it’s not weird that Isa is starting to be more insecure and Matty getting into trouble. Their parents can’t give them much time, but maybe a grandparent, aunt/uncle or some other adult could help out? Or other nice idea would be to take only Isa and Matty with the parents to somewhere for a day :) Family life can be chaotic and you can’t really do nothing more than prioritize what’s important. For me the Flores family feels like a tight-knit family who are going to remember the goofy conversations and family evenings, not how clean the clothes and floors were 😅 Prioritizing! Btw can I ask where is the high chair and the parents’ bed from?

This is interesting. I remember when infants first came, the complaint was Sims only worry about the infants. Now he's ignoring the infant. Which I'd say for real life, he's like "uh, what do I do" even though this is infant #4. I don't feel like it's a glitch. It's part of the challenge. 🤷♀️
Don't forget about the baby carrier!! When I have an intense infant or one that needs to be close or they have a meltdown, I just put baby on mama's back and do my chores throughout the house. Baby can sleep or I can pop them out real quick for a feed if needed. It just makes things easier.
I saw ‘Flores’ and was like oh it’s my family lol my last name is Flores. You have such a soothing voice that I can literally watch your videos late at night and not feel overwhelmed by sound.

@@mamapsims I really like it when people are more transparent about their sims gaming experiences. Sometimes when I'm watching a TH-camr their sims seem so much easier than my own and I just can't relate. My sims are always so chaotic, no matter what storyline I'm going with lol!
I absolutely love the way you play your game. I feel so seen lmao. I do slow down my game time with mccc though. I like actually having time to brush their teeth and make breakfast before going to school. Genuinely revolutionized my enjoyment for this game
I really enjoy these types of videos. I'm the type of player who doesn't use any cheats and always has massive households so I live for the chaos lol Something I learned in my own gameplay is infant needs won't be met if they're left at home, even with other adults at the house with them. I guess the game expects you to constantly care for them manually unless they're specifically at daycare. Because of this I tend to find them more tedious then fun tbh. I'd find this aspect less aggravating if townies actually took their own infants to community lots and it wasn't just my own sim lugging theirs around everywhere all the time.

@@oshinsims but since the challenge is also enjoyable, I’d say 30-40 would be more desirable for the gameplay! 🫶 I play with bigger households so doing their routine always seems like a HUGE rush. Now they’re able to do everything they need and more!
@@oshinsims wanted to come back and let you know I didn’t realize you can delete the mc_settings.cfg package in your mods folder, and it’ll cancel all the mccc settings and it will not corrupt! I changed a wrong setting in my good save file and was able to quickly delete that file and alter my settings again with no hassle! 🫶🫶🫶

I love the house and the kitchen is so comfy and cute. That fridge is so adorable. Where did you get it and the cute spoon set, notes, and hot pad? You find the best items.
I once had a big family, my two sims, Aarmani and Alexa Pickens, they were complete opposites besides the two of them having the family oriented trait. First had a little girl, Amira then when Amira was a toddler, they had a little boy, Darren, then came Daryl and David, the twin boys then came Delilah and the other four were teens then finally baby Allie who came when Amira was close to growing up. In order to control the chaos I had to pause the game and give everyone tasks, I made sure that when the parents were at work the two oldest ones would take turns caring for the kids, getting all the children to do thier homework at the same time as them then Alexa who loves to cook would come home and prepare a meal while armani took over caring for the youngest kids. It was pure chaos. By the time Amira grew up she was dating her high school sweetheart and they were engaged. SO i eventually moved her out for a bit until I could get Darren and the twins to their own house for a bit (still in the same neighborhood) so that I can get Amira and her husband connor to move back into the house Amira grew up in and start raising their son Charlie.
I very very rarely cheat my sims needs, only when i'm extremely flustered (adhd and overstimulation) and something unexpected happens (maybe a fire, or just a series of things i wasn't expecting) My routine when i play with families is - (if i have two kids, i will have 2 bathrooms and i add another bathroom for every additional 2 kids i have) Whichever adult sim has the highest cooking skill gets up first around 3am and uses the bathroom, then when they go to make a group meal, the other adult (if there is one) uses one bathroom and one child per however many other bathrooms there are. By the time they're done in the bathroom, food is ready. If any kids are still asleep, they get up and eat with the family, then use the bathroom after eating. Then everyone goes off to work/school. After work/school - the kids use the toilet and grab a snack alternatively, then do their homework while an adult prepares a meal. They all eat together, then the adults use the toilet and any kids that haven't finished homework get on with that while the rest are free to do as they please. The adults help with homework to speed it up so the kids can have at least a bit of time to fill their fun need before bed between 7-10pm Sometimes i wish my real life was this structured, but i'm usually up til 3-4am playing games, watching streams, etc 😂

I don’t watch your content much but have seen you mentioned etc within the sims community here and there on social media. I took a long break from the game (stopped last November) because that’s how I am with the sims and now I’m coming back to it and just felt like watching a video and this came up and I am so in love with your family / aesthetics here. Like someone else said, their home is so beautiful and cosy and the non-matching themes are so realistic and I’m gonna start incorporating that into my gameplays!!!! I try to keep a realistic schedule and routine for my sims as much as possible. I have a plan and an order for events. So much so that I have to remind myself to be flexible lol 😅 but I love it

Oh my 🤭 It was only the Goths at the beginning of a new save game, so not even a huge household yet, and it was chaos all over 🤣

I use the time adjustment in MCCC. It’s normally set at 25, I have mine at 50. It grants me MUCH needed time to do this without the super rush 💕

I don’t watch your content much but have seen you mentioned etc within the sims community here and there on social media. I took a long break from the game (stopped last November) because that’s how I am with the sims and now I’m coming back to it and just felt like watching a video and this came up and I am so in love with your family / aesthetics here.
Like someone else said, their home is so beautiful and cosy and the non-matching themes are so realistic and I’m gonna start incorporating that into my gameplays!!!!

I try to keep a realistic schedule and routine for my sims as much as possible. I have a plan and an order for events.
So much so that I have to remind myself to be flexible lol 😅 but I love it

Gosh, I'm literally the same trying to keep up with all the things and then getting distracted so much 😂 I actually recorded some gameplay for the first time that I'm in the process of editing and I just.. Oh my 🤭 It was only the Goths at the beginning of a new save game, so not even a huge household yet, and it was chaos all over 🤣

One thing oshin never let her sims do and that’s use the toilet 😂😂😂😂 they have 50 million other things to do and they just be wanting to poop 😂. Love the chaos! I have a big household too(parents had one kid then triplets) and it took a bit to find our rhythm
