The torturer would then set you free, with your bones, muscles, organs and nervous system on display to set an example of what would happen if you did bad.. You wouldn't be able to sit or lie down for the pain. According to records, a woman once threw a blanket over a victim during the winter, and accidentally killed them due to the shock of so many pain receptors activating at once.
The realities of human nature make me afraid. I hope these things will never happen on a major scale, ever again

I lived in Cambodia for awhile and visited the Tuol Sleng genocide museum in Phnom Penh. Needless to say it was a life changing experience. Man's inhumanity to man is truly frightening. Nothing is sanitized or cleaned up. Everyone that entered the facility had their picture taken and detailed records of what was done to them were kept. Scary stuff.

@@tuberdumb7377 Chromosomes are basically what tell cells how to create more of themselves, transform/age properly over time, etc. Too few, too many, or 'broken' chromosomes can cause mutations and cancer. If all or most of the cells in your body suddenly lost chromosomes, your body would rot away while you're alive and experiencing it.
