    The extra ammo is based on the magazine itself. If both can take the same magazines and cartridges you don't get extra.

    Muy útil el video. Ahora equipare a mis soldados de asalto con la Mkb42 y mp717(r)

    Solid tips. I went to dual wielding much more after you had recomended it for machine gunners in a previous video and generally don't go with equipment. I like to dual wield the riflemen with grenade launchers in most squads but especially in flamethrower squads for a serious assault squad. I like doubling up the MG34 Patrontrommel with the MG42 for when i really wanna rip.

    i totally use large ammo pouches for machine gunners and assaulters, maybe only radio men r the ones i use dual yeilding with. usually a semi auto + action bolt. and i also massively use the dual yeilding grenade launchers ofc. i believe its the style of playing that dictates if ammo pouch or dual yeilding is better for u. in my case its ammo pouch ofc as i am usually aware with when my magazine is about to end, and by trying to plan for cover ahead for reloading, doesnt work every time of course :D

    They should have made movement speed not tied to current weapon equipped but more tied to how much crap you are carrying (maybe exempt pistols). Then you would have to make real choices as to whether that extra weapon/pouch is worth moving slower. And they could have added a trait that allows for more "weight" to be carried before hurting your movement speed.

    For a second there i thought duel wielding was gonna be a new feature wondering how that was even going to be possible with the current guns then i saw the the two primary weapons slots filled big oh and relief

      yeah, dual wielding firearms doesnt belong in ww2. THO: i would like to see japanese dual wielding swords, with a special yellow perk for weapon handling. would be ridiculously cool.

    How about dual wielding FG42 IIs, one with a scope for long range, one without a scope for up close :) pity you can't do it with the mkb sniper in moscow, can't unequip the scope there

    It can make some weaker squads much more powerul and let you grind silvers and bronzes for example StG 45(M) that can be equipped with Mp43/1 or Stg45

    Makes no sense why you would take 2 LMGs over a large ammo pouch. Just reload before you go into a fight. The scoped Lee Enfield literally has the fastest reload time too. So why would you not just take a large ammo pouch?

    • @paradivision1362
      @paradivision1362  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "just reload before a fight..."
      --> thats not the relevant aspect. having 2 weapons means you switch during a fight without getting shot and have about double the ammo during fights. just having some theoretical additional ammo in the pouch usually means nothing, since soldiers get killed before they can spend it. with 2 weapons you survive hard engagements much more likely and actually get to use the additional ammo.

    • @tjlockie2214
      @tjlockie2214 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paradivision1362 some weapons reload so fast that it isn’t even necessary to have a second weapon. Take the browning 1919 for example. 100 rounds and a 2 second reload. I’d rather have the 400 rounds. You’re just as likely to die while switching weapons the same as if you were reloading so it’s pointless because you’re only saving a couple of seconds. It’s also rare that you’re going to spray your whole belt of ammunition, switch and then use another belt in a single engagement without getting killed.
      Idk about you but I keep my soldiers alive so they’re always able to use their ammo.

      @@tjlockie2214 the playstyle is also relevant in that regard. you can watch my full games and whenever i wanna go maximum destruction with infantry, dual wielding becomes essential, i am sure no ammopouch user could compete with that. but playing whatever playstyle for fun is obviously viable. in this guide i presented the most powerful way of playing, so people know it, the most fun way is subjective obv.

      @@tjlockie2214 That's not a good example. Of course that double LMGs power diminishes when you have 100 round belt/mag, and in this specific case slow rate of fire, so you're more likely to mow down entire enemy squad before you run out of ammo and need to reload. It also depends whether you use the squad defensively, waiting for enemies, or you find yourself swarmed in attack. But it's great strategy for German LMGs that have high rate of fire and only 50 round drums. As much as you are precise, the rate is so high you overkill. BARs have small magazines, so it's great there too, you can sustain the fire before reload.
      Fedorov/PPSh combo is very interesting because it makes Soviet assaulters versatile. That being said, I am not definite myself if I want Fedorov/PPSh combo which is great, or just entire squad armed with same guns and more grenades, for a specific task, like rushing and clearing rooms with PPShs, or more ammo for Fedorovs while I am defending, sitting behind cover (although that can be solved with ammo boxes).

    • @tjlockie2214
      @tjlockie2214 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paradivision1362 idk man, you’re making duel wielding out to be amazing but in reality it’s on par if not worse than having a large ammo pouch. Definitely not essential, the most powerful or game changing. 9 times out of 10 if you need to switch weapons mid gun fight it’s because there’s a cluster of enemies that require your whole magazine/belt. By that time you’ve already exposed yourself for too long and the AI will generally have already killed you before you can or while you switch weapons. It’s more beneficial to take cover, top up with a reload and reset the timer for AI to acquire you. In the 1 time you do manage to win the engagement you now have to take double the time to reload 2 weapons and you’re low on ammo.
      I guarantee everyone who uses ammo pouches can complete. But it’s definitely fun to use an SMG/shotgun combo on assaulters just pointless to duel wield on anything else.

    nah dual wielding is just a waste of a backpack slot since you can just pick up a bolt action from the ground. it’s just dumb and an L take here. the only use I see is grenade launcher and rifle. Way more powerful to bring a big grenade backpack and bring an explosive pack and two smokes on ever soldier, enemies can’t see shit until it’s too late
