    Does the patented pool mapping actually work so it gets every part of pool rather than random pattern? thans

      The Dolphin Explorer E30 would be a good choice for your pool size. The E30 is ideal for pools up to 40-feet long which is what you need.

    How well does it pick up bigger leaves?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  ปีที่แล้ว

      Like most robotic pool cleaners, it'll be more effective at cleaning larger debris when it is empty. But due to the impeller driven design, the most the cartridge/bag is filled the less efficient the vacuum becomes. If you need to gather heavy debris or large leaves, then I suggest getting a Leaf Eater.

    I have a 45ft oval above ground (vinyl liner) i think, would this work for that? It says inground.

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't want a robotic cleaner that will climb the walls of an above ground pool. There is a chance the cleaner could pull the liner out of the track and cause the pool to collapse. We'd recommend the E10 for above ground pools. It's designed for pools up to 26' long. It can work on longer pools, but you may have to move it from one end to the other after the cleaning cycle is done. www.inyopools.com/Products/14700005088298.htm

    We just bought that unit and we are wondering if it's safe to leave the power unit outside (if it rain) ?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The power supply is water resistant but I would recommend covering it up or putting it in a deck box when the cleaner is not in use.

    What is the difference between the E30 and the active 20?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Maite - They are the same cleaner. Besides the color of the shell, the only difference is the Active 20 comes with the ultra fine filter.

    Was it doing the slum line in your video?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It did climb up to the waterline and scrub the tile.

    Does it claim steps and cleans it ?

    • @Inyopools
      @Inyopools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We can't guarantee it will climb the steps on every pool. On the test pool, it did climb up on the bottom step and the swim-out in the deep end.

    It's funny how Maytrtonics, Dolphin makes the same unit but calls them completely different manes. I have the Dolphin, Protius DX4, and it is the same thing, but mine is blue and white and sold mostly by Leslie's Pool Supplies. Unfortunately they don't seem to last all that long. Mine is only 3 years old and it is not working any more. I've already gone through one power supply that stopped working about a year into ownership. Unfortunately the motor is not easily found, and when you do find one, it is a whopping $450. That's half of the price I paid for the unit when new. But again, I can't find the parts. The few places I find that carry them say they are out of stock until further notice.
    I've sent an email/repair request into Maytronics. We'll see what they have to say.

      I have some good news and bad news for you.
      The Good News: I tracked down the part number for your Proteus DX4 cleaner. I was even able to confirm we have them in stock, and it is less expensive than the prices you were quoted.
      The Bad News: The motor is not that much cheaper than the price you were quoted by other vendors. But hey, we still found it. Check it out here: Dolphin Motor Unit 9995389-EX - www.inyopools.com/Products/14701352088784.htm
