I am so sorry this took so long! I should have had this out weeks ago but I have had zero time to work on remixes :(. I do think the wait was worth it though, I had so much fun making this. I used so many new techniques and instruments that will definitely help me in the future. Almost every instrument here is custom or heavily modified, and I am especially proud of the custom FM piano. I am looking forward to remixing more of the superstars OST, but also take a step back and remix some older songs too!
This was done from scratch using Furnace, and VGM2TFI to get the instruments from Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I then heavily modify said instruments to fit my needs. I sampled the drums from the original using Lalal.ai. I used Corrscope for the oscilloscope view of the audio channels, and Aseprite for all of the sprite editing/spritework. If you guys have any suggestions for another song I should cover, comment down below!
This remix can be used anywhere except for reupload, as long as you give me credit. I hope you have a great day!

I am in no way affiliated with Sega or their subsidiaries. Sonic the Hedgehog, the Sega Genesis/Megadrive, some of the sprites used, and the original music piece are all property of Sega.
Song: Pinball Carnival Zone Act 1
Sonic Superstars
Composer: Rintaro Soma
I think this is gonna be my favorite zone honestly
It’s my fav
Mine too
Why the hell there are so few people who talk about how GOOD Rintaro Soma's music is?
Great cover btw! The intro might not be so great but still the remix overall is awesome, good job!
and i saw a couple people point out
"this is trying to be Studiopolis so bad"
HOW?? i ain't hearin' it
@@kaxcommentssomethingREAL it's a small reference that I heard, some people also hear some collision chaos and casinopolis in there
@@saljaroshi5240 that is such a cool detail!
I actually wanted to put in a Collision Chaos reference in around 0:55, as the songs have the exact same BPM and it could fit pretty easily. However when I put it in it didn't sound like it fit so I ended up scrapping it :/
@@kaxcommentssomethingREAL the more you know 😊✌
Desperate thirsty for you to release act two of this
LETS GO PINBALL CARNIVAL COVER!!!
This song is a litteral vibe all through (especially the note slides near the start) , and the ym2612 conversion is really good :)

Great job as always!
amazing Digital circus vibe
Nice work! Initially I wanted to make a cover of this song, but the switiching between straight rhythms and swung rhythms threw me off, so I did Golden Capital act 1. Really nice transcription, and the PSG is crispy as hell
You got a sub!
*_Jun Senoue's mock-up chip strikes back!!_*
He really does need to get Furnace and VGM2TFI now. >:(
This is sooo greeeeaaaatttttt
I'm begging for a speed jungle remix
that will be epic
Nice...
Okay, that's a lot of 32 bits, and JX has 16 bits. Goes?
i *highly* enjoyed this! i had forgotten to comment here lol
a lil' question, how do you find the exact BPM of the song you're composing?
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed! I use Tunebat's BPM finder and just put the song in there. Thankfully Furnace allows me to put in a custom BPM, on VGM Music Maker I had to do a lot of messing around and almost never got it exactly right.
@@MrShoemonster interesting, thank you!
you could've used the TGS gameplay
I would have but it is incredibly low quality and would probably have hurt the viewing experience. I only used it for the intro animation
