I had an imposter ice cream doll as a child. Someone had crocheted the body and attached a plastic head in that style.
I still see them at estate sales.

My daughter ( now 40) was not a doll Fan as a child. Never liked Barbie etc. But was CRAZY about her ice cream doll. I ll always watch for one. She ll wonder why I got it !Thanks for your time and video. . Good luck shopping!

I bought two of the ice cream dolls for two of my granddaughters in Indiana (over 20 years ago). They were strapped in my backseat when I stopped to grab something to eat. Came out and a police officer was carefully studying them as he drove by. I yelled out to him, told him they were dolls. LOL
We used to have that treehouse. Loved it as a kid. My sister sold it in parts a couple years ago. Was sad that I hadn't had it when my kids were little (must've been in the attic or something) anyway. Great finds!
My mom worked for Hassenfeld way back in the late 40s. She enjoyed her work there and we had a lot of pressed plastic defective trucks and assorted potato head parts to play with later on. I believe she left them long before they became Hasbro. Good folks to work for. One of the Hassenfeld brothers actually sold her our kitchen flooring tiles super cheap (leftovers from a building of some sort). I still have her factory badge. Sadly, the Hassenfeld mill where she worked (on the Central Falls/Pawtucket line) was torn down maybe 2 years ago. Very sad for us. It had been vacant so long. They indeed own Milton Bradley now and honestly, the were so good to my family, I hope they never go out of business.

Have fun in Nashville, it’s where I grew up and go back often to see family.. I have done the bins there with my sister but I normally just hold her stuff because I really don’t like the place. As I have said before I don’t do the bins but am trying to get my mind set to try. Have a good time.
You can come out to Wellington Colorado and buy a bunch of vintage plush! Vintage toys! Some is disney! All in pretty good almost new condition! I can't do the ebay to sell bc of the govt.
We stopped at the Albuquerque bins, it was ok, onto Oklahoma City bins next. My favorite is still the St. Louis bins, that will be the last one we go to. We went to the Grand Canyon on our our vacation and of course I had to go the bins.
I went to the Oklahoma Bins 6 years ago on my way to my niece's boot camp graduation. I loved it but I know things can change at the bins. I want to do what you are doing - travel all over the states and hits every Goodwill bins, lol! When will you be at the St Louis bins? We will be there the week of Jun 1 at some point.
Hiya I got £129.99 for an ice cream doll . It did have the ice cream but don’t sell yourself short. These are so collectible perhaps I overpriced and got lucky. Just double check as there are a lot of fakes of this particular doll. Thanks for a great video

Great video! I find that clothes are slow to sell on Mercari- just about everything is slow to sell there though. I quit putting much clothing on there b/c they would just sit.
