I live in a small town. A confused patient went thru the ED, made it to the unit and while changing into the hospital gown, was found to have a loaded gun. Thankfully staff found it because he was confused. No telling if he was awoken in the middle of the night thinking he was at home and a staff member walks in and he shoots.
We finally have a metal detector.
There has been an increased threat to healthcare workers...anything we can do to delay the thought process of hurting/killing others...I think it is important.
U shld sue goodwill why wld they ever put that in the bins!?!?!?!

I was once a ED tech. We often got sliced fingers, etc.
Once we had a guy come in with a mangled hand. He reached in to unjam a snowblower (which you should never do with hands...use a stick, etc). I just shake my head because this is 101 of snowblowers. What an idiot.
His wife was with him, she also thought he was an idiot. And she said to me "ask him what happened to his other hand..."
I kid you not and he said "same thing".
So i said "so you really are this stupid?"
It's called job security.

Yes, poor me, lol! I think I would have been ok if I had not seen what had happened.
Just last week, eBay removed a Negative Feedback with no issue - buyer left a negative with the comment "Just didn't like the fit." I requested a feedback revision which she ignored, so I put in the request online and eBay removed it within minutes. So grateful.
I really do think they are getting better with feedback removal.
See that’s the reason I am not going to the bins. If pros like you get hurt I only can imagine what will happen to me. Don’t know how you stay so calm but good for you. I knew as soon as you said meat cutter it was going to be bad. Why in the world would they have a meat cutter in those plastic bins anyway. That’s just too dangerous. Wish you a fast recovery and Rebel I know it had to be hard for you too.

Well, I guess I am kind of glad my bins store requires gloves. I got chef gloves that are cut resistant. One thing they do not protect against is needles,. Ask me how I know, lol. I was digging like a mad woman when I felt a gab in my hand. When I looked down, I had a large sewing needle piercing my hand right through the glove. I learned my lesson and now I dig with wooden spoons.
That would be scary too.
Hello R & R, Robert we are twins, I sliced my finger at the bins in Oklahoma City, I’m dripping blood across the floor to get a band aid😅. The people in OK were very aggressive. We went to St. Louis next still our favorite bins, found a Dualit toaster, good comps.
