You'd think that Irish Catholics, having already had to deal with Irish Protestants and how well THAT worked out for all parties, would be smart enough to realize that allowing a group of people belonging to a religion that has no tolerance for Christian ideals (although they have some things in common with orthodox Catholics in that gay marriage is simply an intolerable idea and while I don't know the Muslim opinion on birth control and abortion at all, I suspect that when it comes to non-Muslims they could care less, since they don't really count as the right kind of people anyway and so the Prophet would automatically would be cool with them aborting and preventing children among non-Muslims... it would be a GREAT thing, but I am guessing since I am only extrapolating as a non-practicing Catholic)
