An excellent documentary about them (Nobody Famous) had just been posted at the channel EncourageTV. It's right up your street. Don Williams played with them. Also, the track 'Time' was covered by Lindsey Buckingham on his latest album - a really beautiful, respectful acoustic track.

I got that Dennis Wilson album when it came out, loved it👍. Also have Brian Wilson first solo album from 1988, great album too! You sure have a lot of Dylan albums, I have a friend who runs a Dylan fan club, every few months they meet up in Cambridge England and his Dylan collection is crazy, he has just about every bootleg that came out over the years and all his officially released albums of course. He gave me his 1960’s collection of Dylan singles and EP’s some 50 years ago can’t remember why. He’s seen him live a number of times from 1966 onwards, even the 1969 Isle of Wight festival 🎉
And Happy Birthday to Mr. Dylan today ! Good to hear from you Roy.. I am missing "New Morning" an album that I love ! I now have a whole bunch of albums, just the way I like it ! Good to get some Spencer Davis in the collection. Muddy, John Lee………wow, great pick up! I’m looking for that Rush debut on vinyl. Kinks greatest….yes! Parallel Lines beautiful. Wow JT another mammoth pick up from Bill’s. Mike🎸
Yeah.. You're right Mike.. I filmed without them knowing. My wife worked there for 15 years.. I was sneaky about it. If security saw me, they would have stopped me ! I still like to live dangerously.. old habits die hard mate ! War is so amazing.. the old pressings sound great as I'm sure your box set records do. "All Day Music" is a banger too ! And the first one with "Spill The Wine" ! The Rush debut is so good ! "Working Man" is the last track on the Canadian press or US Press.

@@jtsrecordroom3963 I think I heard that before about Ginn. Probably from you Jt. I love Rollins, but those early Keith Morris recordings are something else! The Dennis Wilson looks to be a 2nd pressing on Caribou. The Nelly is a first and valuable, actually. The Oscar Peterson is a 1st Stereo Verve press. I would have gone into more detail.. so many records that I wanted to show ! Thanks for asking..
Nice to be back at the garage JT. The World is a Ghetto is a long time want item for me, you never see it over here. I got a copy of Honey recently but it is a bit sweet for my taste. I'm hoping to get a copy of Legalise It from a collection if I can seal the deal. Lovely Dennis Wilson album a jewel in my collection. Nice finds, cheers Dale
Hello Dale ! " All Day Music" is another equally great War album, if you can find one. I have the repress actually.. it sounds terrific ! I love my Reggae.. I used to live in the Caribbean, down there it was only 3rd most popular.. Soca Calypso was #1 in the late 80's. Thanks so much !
Another option.. Is we get you over here.. over the pond , and get you some sweet U.S. pressings for War and other desirable records ! 🤚 Bring a big suitcase.. Haha. We hope to be in the UK and Ireland in the fall of 2024.
Thanks, man ! One guy asked me, " What does buying records have to do with gambling?" When I go there.. lighting is bad, and I have about 2 hours to dig.. Many records aren't clean enough to bother with, so I don't really know until I get them home and spin them. Lots of work, and good fun cleaning them up and spinning !
You take the left side, I'll take the right ! Rich Stricker asked about you, Tony ( I speak to him on the phone occasionally ). Told him I have been chatting with you lately.. He's on break for a few weeks.

There are still excellent inexpensive shops to visit with good records ! I bought 4 for .25 Cents a piece last week.. although they rarely get records. ( I check in often ). Thanks for tuning in to this one Mike !
Cha-Ching!! Jackpot for sure. That's an excellent Stevie Wonder comp. The Robert Gordon title is excellent, I recently picked that one up from my honey hole. That Bill Withers album is a hard one to come by. How's the sound quality of your copy? You found so many great titles, John Cale, Al Green, Muddy, Barbara Lewis (in the shrink) Amazing. I can't tell you how much I love Parallel Lines! You can never have enough JB! Glad you picked up the Nelly LP. DENNIS WILSON - That is such a beautiful and desirable album. Looks like an early pressing to me, most likely an OG. You should buy a Power Ball ticket, lady luck is on your side.
You know I got that "Swagger" description from you.. pretty much sums up Country Grammar. I didn't show Still Bill.. was just listening, a lot of pops and clicks.. needs a good deep clean. The debut sounds very good, actually.. both are on Sussex. Gosh.. that Al Green is my new favorite.. and I just ordered "Let's Stay Together" on Fat Possum. I am missing "Call Me" Do you have the Barbara Lewis title ? it's very very good ! Talk soon .✌

You have good records there. I like War, their Funk soul music is cool. I like Low Rider which was a big hit for them in 1975. Ohio Players are neat too Their number one song Love Rollercoaster is the best. . I'm in my sixties and remember the 1970s well. I was in my teens then. I bought a cd of Pocos music on cd 1975 - 1982 yesterday .It was in the Salvation Army store where I go to to find music cheap. I like their song Indian Summer from 1977. I like Peter Tosh. That Devo album is a classic. I owned Blondies Parallel Lines in 1978 on vinyl. It contains the massive hit Heart of Glass. I like Robert Gordon's style of Rock n Roll revival music. He had a cool song titled My Girl is Red Hot in 1977. It got good airplay on the radio here in New Zealand back then. I Iike Oscar Petersons piano playing. I'm into Jazz and I have a large collection of it. Thanks for your video.
Yeah.. You and me in our 60s ! I'm 66, so I love all of the music I showed and that you mentioned. I just arrived back from thrifting.. 19 records at .89 cents each ! I am a real chameleon when it comes to enjoying many styles and genres ! Thanks so much for checking this one out. ✌️
I learned about Jazz early on.. Mom was an entertainer, when in Montreal, she would visit Oscar's club. Before my Dad.. Mom was dating Don Elliott a well-known side man ( Horns / Vibes ) back in the 50s and 60's
@@jtsrecordroom3963 There is a quality video on TH-cam of Robert Gordon performing with Link Wray doing Red Hot back in 1977. It's from an European TV music show called Topop.

@Rik Strange They're pretty dusty ! Lately.. I am masking up, I had an Athsma flare up from digging deep not long ago. Many of the records are in great shape !
this is a jackpot: too many things to rave on about without writing 13 paragraphs. if "john wesley harding" was made by an unknown, it would still be a spectacular one-off. have you seen the footage of dylan singing "the man in me" available on this channel? in terms of record i would most like to have just because i've never seen it anywhere: the one by the now 80 year old barbara lewis. i love the mott the hoople, the original musiqarium-everything except the conversation about john lennon being accesible. thanks!
No.. I haven't seen "The Man In Me".. or, at least I don't think so. I will watch !! John Wesley is an amazing album, for sure. I should give that a full listen soon, as well ! Mott The Hoople is right in there with T Rex, Bowie and Lou Reed, for me. Let's throw in some Roxy Music and Steve Harley, as well.. Slade Too ! LoL !!
Look like you picked up a bunch of nice records. That Stillrock album is pretty good, although it sounds a bit dated for a 1971 release. I don't know if the album was recorded earlier and released later, but it sounds stuck in the 60s. Not necessarily a bad thing, just evidence of a band following rather than leading. I'd have picked up that Jim Reeves live at the Opry. It would be interesting to hear an early performance without all the Nashville Sound production. Cheers - Hedley
I like Jim Reeves, good point about him without all of the sappy production. Thanks for telling me about Stillrock.. I think I will stream it to see what's up. That Poco "Deliverin' sounds terrific ! worn jacket, and clean vinyl ! See you on yours.. Thank you !
Thanks, Guz ! The only thing I wrestled with is using or not using low volume background music. I scored so many records over at the garage that I needed something to fill in the show and tell. Vinyl Jackpot !.. pretty cheesy of me, but I like it.. goes with my town ! Cheers, Guz..✌️

Every time I go into this guy's garage.. It's a crap shoot ! I have 2 hours, because of his time limit, and mine.. then we barter after, which hopefully brings them down to 5.00 on average. Also.. nothing is organized.. you guys call record stores " The Wild" .. this is the real wild in a dusty unorganized garage, never know what I'm gonna get, and the vinyl, too hard to see in bad lighting, have to use my vinyl E.S.P. !! An excellent documentary about them (Nobody Famous) had just been posted at the channel EncourageTV. It's right up your street. Don Williams played with them. Also, the track 'Time' was covered by Lindsey Buckingham on his latest album - a really beautiful, respectful acoustic track.
Good ! Someone else mentioned this.. With you confirming , I'm getting it ! Still so many good records over there, Carl !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 I enjoy seeing what you find at Bill's.
@@carltweed942 Thanks ! I guess that I will.. or can't stop from going back ! LoL !! Going to try to do a Bill vid about every 3 weeks or so.. Actually going back this Tuesday .
Bill's garage blows my mind every time. An amazing array of great records. Nice haul JT. I enjoyed our chat the other night. Take care!!!
Me too ! I will be sure to check in every few, or so. I got a lot of good ones that you and I both approve of on this haul ! I actually picked 4 Bill Withers records out of there.. and two very recently. Talk soon.. enjoy your freedom ! 🤚
Pacific Ocean Blue was a good pick.. and Bill let me have it. Sometimes he holds back on stuff I want, but.. no big deal, he has a lot of records ! Wish I was back in Thailand.. ✌
I feel that this was the best Bill Kill
so far!
Fabulous Poodles cover alone was a record collector's jackpot!
Barbara Lewis a gem! 💎
Whoo hoo!!!!
🦓
I'm laughing Alan !!! You and me need an emoji for that poodle on the cover ! LoL !! I scored to more Bill Withers records as well. "Still Bill" my favorite ! Good haul, for sure.. 🐶

Ooh sweet Joe Cocker!! I’ll take that 😉 nice Eagles one I need for my Eagles collection.. I wish I had a Bill’s garage near me😂 Hi JT I hope all is well.
That's a good record, for sure Craig.. I mean both, actually. I didn't check the condition on either of those.. looking for other records right now, I'm sure you will run into those eventually ! Thanks for checking out this new vid !
Alberta sounds good ! For sure.. give me a heads up of you guys are coming this way. Sounds good, and it wouldn't hurt to ask Bill about the two of us.
What a treasure trove of great albums. Some very hard to fine albums. ❤
Pretty good haul, huh Dan ! The hardest part is leaving there with records you still want ! So far, so good on being invited back ! He's a cool guy.. Bill used to DJ in Northern California.
Hey Jt. Wow, nice haul. So many good ones. That Caravan album is a nice find along with Spencer Davis, The Kinks and so much more. Well done.
Thanks, Jamie, for commenting ! I had so many, I almost just put the camera on all of them and flipped through the big stack ! See you on yours, have a good one ! ✌️
That was interesting seeing inside the casino JT, I’m surprised they let you film in there. I love that WAR Ghetto album. I got the WAR boxset for Christmas, excellent.
Excellent pick ups from your own gold mine.
Haha !! .. It has been good to me.. ( My Gold Mine ) ! Since I have been in the VC.. I have bought a whole lot of records.. and just the way I like it ! Thanks so much for checking this one out, it was fun making it ! ✌
Wow, some fantastic pickups. That Dennis Wilson is high on my list. Love that Endless Boogie, John Cale, etc etc. Well done !
Hey there Jon ! At this point.. I am finding titles I never had, and the vinyl is excellent with only some worn covers.. adds to the charm a bit, as I have so many clean covers/ records anyway ! Thanks..✌
Love that Black Flag Nervous Breakdown behind you Jt 👍…and everything thing else!!! Woah Bill’s is a never ending honeypot (hey that’s a Ohio Players tie-in 😂) Cheers….Ben
Yeah.. Black Flag !! Greg Ginn by the way is and always was a total Dead Head !! Interesting, and goes to show an eclectic taste is a good thing ! Ohio Players models were all from Playboy ! I'm putting together a NZ and Australian section in my collection, It's pretty light right now.. hope to get some more ! Mata ✌
@@jtsrecordroom3963 I think I heard that before about Ginn. Probably from you Jt. I love Rollins, but those early Keith Morris recordings are something else! My uncle had a poster of the Ohio Players Fire album on his bedroom wall at my Nan’s. It was all too much for my prepubescent mind 😂 I would love to see you do a feature one day with your perspective on the Aus & NZ records you have.. And I’m sure you’ll have great insights from the outside looking in 👍 Cheers….Ben
@Ben Rankins Hmmm, that is an idea ! I want a few more, at least. Yeah, Keith Morris was kick ass for sure ! I have The Chills, Swingers .. JoJo Zep & The Falcons, Split Enz.. and more. Seams, I have more NZ than Assie... but I need to dig and see what I have. I clearly NEED more !!! 🤚
Some great findsJt. I have around half of these. Great to find that Stevie Wonder comp in nice condition. Nice of you to show the Dylan on his birthday. I need to find me some Barbara Lewis, and some more AlGreen for that matter. Don’t have that John Cale record either. Fab day at Bill’s my friend.
Fabulous day indeed !! Really enjoyable listens on this haul. I pulled two more Bill Withers out of there..Just a few too many to show in one sitting ! Are you back in Victoria yet ? I forget..
Happy Birthday, Bob ! 😊
Excellent find with the mono John Wesley Harding! It took me forever to find a mono copy. Would love to know what all those pressings at the end were.
I love your t-shirt! So cool. ♥️
Hey Michy ! It's a Wal Mart special ! It fits good now. Talk soon !
Great haul!! Wow!
JB, Al Green, BT Express, Bill Withers.. My favorite is " Still Bill" .. I didn't show it yet ! ✌️
Such great stuff. I would have to move into his garage. The Ohio Players always had “interesting” album art. Great stuff
You take the left side, I'll take the right ! Rich Stricker asked about you, Tony ( I speak to him on the phone occasionally ). Told him I have been chatting with you lately.. He's on break for a few weeks.
Ohio Players ! Those are models on their album artwork.. Stylin' !!✌️
Hi JT, that was a great mix. Nice to see Mott and Devo. Fly by Night is one of my favourite album covers. Nevada seems to be the place for vinyl bargains. Cheers Mike
That synergy is on my list of synergy. Synergy is Larry fast he played with Nektar
Hey Art ! Did I pas up Synergy ? Ohhh now I know which one ! Is it good ? Should I go back and get it ? I guess I should.. I will go back in the flip and check it out ! Thanks for the tip !!
It’s electronic music.
@North Carolina Vinyl Picker Got it.. I listened, excellent music.. thanks, Art. It's pretty inexpensive on Discogs as well, I noticed.
I would not have expect3d to see Nelly out of Bills collection. Nice pick. Endless Boogie is a fun album. Nice finds
He has other rap/ hip hop records as well ! I'm gonna stream some to see how good they are. I scored two other Bill Withers ( Still Bill ) as well.. my favorite of his. See you, Steve ! ✌️

I’ve never listened to ‘ Caravan’ are they good? Nice ‘War’ album JT. I’ve never listened to John Cale before what style is he? Sweet Rush!! I love ‘Fly by Night’ Great finds my friend take care and God bless JT
Caravan is excellent ! " In The Land Of Grey and Pink" is a good place to start !
John Cale came out of The Velvet Underground. PopRock, Experimental, New Wave. So many albums by him.
Raga Rock is a great find. One of those great releases on that label out of LA. Nice find. 🖖🚀
Thanks Rik ! That was John from "I Married A Record Collector" channel, he recommended it. John has a very deep musical knowledge, and so do you to recognize that particular record it's from 1966 I found out..✌ See you on yours !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 hope so. Obscurity is my middle name when it comes to vinyl.
Like your ability to dig those dust crates !!
@Rik Strange They're pretty dusty ! Lately.. I am masking up, I had an Athsma flare up from digging deep not long ago. Many of the records are in great shape !
Very cool ! Good knowledge goes a long way in the vinyl game, so much to know and retain !
this is a jackpot: too many things to rave on about without writing 13 paragraphs. if "john wesley harding" was made by an unknown, it would still be a spectacular one-off. have you seen the footage of dylan singing "the man in me" available on this channel? in terms of record i would most like to have just because i've never seen it anywhere: the one by the now 80 year old barbara lewis. i love the mott the hoople, the original musiqarium-everything except the conversation about john lennon being accesible. thanks!
Thank you !
You videos are getting better and better, I love when you take us on your vinyl hunts :) guz69

Hello Richard.. Off to work, want to see more of your good video's ! Have a great day from one Nevadan to another !
da heck does gambling have to do with buying records?
Every time I go into this guy's garage.. It's a crap shoot ! I have 2 hours, because of his time limit, and mine.. then we barter after, which hopefully brings them down to 5.00 on average. Also.. nothing is organized.. you guys call record stores " The Wild" .. this is the real wild in a dusty unorganized garage, never know what I'm gonna get, and the vinyl, too hard to see in bad lighting, have to use my vinyl E.S.P. !! OK ??? ✌️
