hey um, your using the old version of the withering away. there is a new version of it with new models, textures, and difrent way of infecting and stuff. just letting you know (and to begin it u have to kill the wither or use /bigin_wither_infction) cool video btw 👍
Why would I give it mobs the way it works is they spawn there own once I put down the main things like the mounds and hivemind. I didn't spawn in mobs for it just like I didn't for the rest of the mods

Fungal infection Needs mobs to be strong You gave it absolutely no mobs So it literally instantly died out

Yes, but they also spawn naturally when its dark so its not like they didn't have any mobs.
Spoiler alert also it wasn't able To spawn in calamities which are the strongest spore creatures
No, it managed to spawn in a calamity once but it was the water one and every other time it just didn't spawn one in
