You didn't emphasize how extremely walkable Takoma Park is, and how eclectic and vibrant its historic shopping district is (and the large number of independent businesses there).
Not comprehensive. She didn't mention the crime, trash, rent control wrecks that are touted as "affordable," numerous regulations that disallow you to manage your own property, or far left voices that drown out everybody else and result in more fees, fines, and keep viable businesses out. Duplicate services that the County can provide more cheaply. This town isn't cute or quaint. It's ridiculous. Look in Silver Spring or Hyattsville. And there isn't really anything going on downtown TP--unless all you want is a hardware store and a few over-priced restaurants.
The TP lunacy never ends. Now they’re having a kids Gay Pride Parade. The hypocrisy is astounding-unless you live here and have come to accept that this is TP normal. And it’s still a shabby small town plagued by malicious gossips.
@@ronnie3726 Well, TP likes to see itself as a bastion of liberalism-excuse me, of progressivism-the Republicans have even taken their name away from them-but it’s really just a small, shabby town dominated by a bunch of gossips. It reminds of a small southern town plagued by tart tongued “church ladies”-of both sexes to be fair.
I did reply. I told you that I thought TP was a shabby small town plagued by malicious gossips. You seem to have found a way to take that reply down. It was an honest answer to your question from one who lives in TP. But that’s typical of TP narrow mindedness. Everybody’s entitled to an opinion as long as it echoes yours.
As a realtor, we can’t have an opinion on crime as that feels differently to different people. But I’m happy to provide websites to crime statistics if you want.

Takoma Park is a bunch of hypocrites. Don’t let the yard signs fool you.
Could you please elaborate?
