Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am doing Jen Kingwell’s Pick-a-Petal. I didn’t think I would like hand piecing but the more I do it, the more I like it. This tutorial is an affirmation for me! Would love to know where the teeny pins come from that you are using.

I’m doing Pick a Petal too, and I’m loving the hand piecing! I thought it would be way too fussy for me, but it’s very peaceful and satisfying. So glad to know I’m not the only one researching all of these hand piecing skills.

You are so thorough, thank you so much! I hate having to knot thread all the time so I love your back stitching tip!

I don't think it's like watching paint dry at all! I learned so much! Thank you! I'll watch your template video to see if I know how you're doing your lines and registration dots! Thank you for the class!

Do you treat the edges of the fabric with anything to keep it from fraying from all the handling? It just looks so perfect when you’re done.

Do you use templates to cut your fabrics? Does the template show where to mark the dots at the edges?

I'm wondering if you double thread your needle? I always do to make sure it is never coming apart. I don't know if that's something other quilter's do or not lol. Great class I haven't quilted in years since mama passed away so I'm refreshing my memory. Thank you for the clear instructions. Blessings from NM

I do not double thread. I find the Aurifil 50wt thread to be strong enough as a single strand.

@@thequiltasylum I'll have to try that's thread. One thing we do have in my tiny Town is a quilt shop. Thank you for the tip. Blessings from NM

The word you're looking for is "perpendicular," not "parallel"
