A portable home laminater (heated) is another option, instead of working with sticky Contac paper. You can find them at stores like WalMart, Target, and office supply stores. Laminating sheets come in standard paper size and legal size. The sheets are double, joined at one end, and the piece or pieces you want to laminate slide in between. It’s then fed through the heat laminator, and comes out sealed.

You can also buy adhesive "Foamies" and use like contact paper, but put it on the back of your template page. It is thicker than contact paper.
