Nice video. Personally I've never liked Ace's menu system, particularly for object interaction. if there is more than one object near you the menu system is more of a liability than beneficial. In this example it kind of works. If you are a mission maker adding a radio trigger to a placed IED is very easy in the Eden editor. BIS really needs to improve explosion animations and overall sound effects. Animations imo are looking very dated for a game of A3s stature.
It's weird 'cause I have IED in the inventory, also a cellphone. However, it won't show me the PLACE the IDE on the menu for some reason. Do I have to be a bad guy to do it?
Arma doesn't define "bad guys". There are bluefor, opfor, and Independent. None of the weaponry or gear is restricted between the different teams, however.
@@javiledezma5051 Ah ok. So the phone connection works in normal play assuming you have a cellphone (use virtual arsenal to get one). As far as setting up IEDs in Zeus there is a mod called Zeus Enhanced which I believe sets up IED drag and drop scripts to make it easy to do on the fly with a few input values. Hopefully that helps?
ניב משה I'm sure you can set up a mission where you spawn with an IED, but Zeus is the best option. In Zeus you can spawn in a civilian or soldier, then go to "Arsenal" and choose the gear or items you want him to have.

its the ACE3 modification, along with other mods. The IED and the cellphone are items of the ACE3 mod though
