I got a camper at this point in my life and the bench is so comfortable. But if I did spend good money on sleeping it would be purple or Sealy. I hear amazing things about both all the time.

Stains on a new mattress would weird me out man. They shouldn’t be there at all.
I go to the local mattress store and buy floor models. Whether you are comfortable with it or not, my local store covers them in plastic the whole time and I can get them for a third of the price. So I generally pay 500 dollars for a 1500 dollar mattress. They cycle through floor models quite often and mine had absolutely no compression/wear on it.

You also need the purple sheets to get the Full purple experience. I had ordered the sheets later and it makes a big difference.
We have that same black and white sheet set as you do! Except ours is for a full.

I want one of these, but a California King Purple.3 is $2700, and the purple.4 is $3500. California King is the only way to go because I hate when my feet reach the end of the bed.
I've never tried the Purple 3, or 4. I found the original Purple is the best mattress I have ever slept on. I don'y want to test something else lol.

I bough a Walmart memory foam mattress just like that for $300, a few months in, it's not half bad.
The Walmart memory foam will harden in a few years and start to cut off your Circulation then you will have to bu a purple to get your circulation back beware of cheap memory foam.

Have you tried to flip the matress over and see if there is any marking on the other side that would not be visable ?

Yo Randy. Those spots look like the blood spots left on a mattress that someone has slept on with bedbugs biting them. I really hope not but this mb makes me wonder about their trial and return period and what they actually do with the returned mattresses. I really hope I'm wrong but what else could those spots be? Google how to spot bedbugs and you will see what I mean. Please keep us updated as I have been considering purple setup for about a month which is why I just watched.
The returned mattresses are never returned to Purple. I returned one, so I know the drill. They tell you to keep it, or they will send a charity to pick it up.

I had just read the 100 day satisfaction return policy about a week ago and after managing properties for years where I saw and removed multiple bedbug infested mattresses those spots you pointed out had me worried about buying and also worried for you. I would absolutely demand a replacement though if I were you because that's not normal and they have no excuse. Thanks again for responding and I look forward to the queen size purple we are going to order. BTW, did you consider or have you heard any news about Purples newer model mattress?
I have heard about the newer models but this bed was the first of many trials that actually made me feel good in the morning. I just don't want to try something else when I have a good thing here. It was a literal nightmare finding a mattress that suited our needs.

Your old $1000 dollar mattress only lasted a year until you bought a new one. I would have to sleep as well as I would in my coffin to pay that again.
There's nothing wrong with the old one. You shouldn't make assumptions. I said in the video we are putting a Purple in the other room (guest bedroom). We have a family member visiting from the coast for a few weeks and she has major back issues.
