When this came out, I , a prairie boy on my first visit to Toronto ever. I went to Eaton's centre HMV after I just took a gamble on how much it looked like I'd love this and i was right. A classic and formative of my music tastes from then on.
I saw this guy live in Plymouth in 98. Not a clue what happened to him but they pissed on every electro act of the day. Also, a great DJ set. Remember those? Christ what's wrong with the planet.
I saw him at the Faversham in Leeds back then, the guy who made the tunes was not the DJ you saw as far as I can remember, the artist got a DJ to tour representing him, the DJ I saw was a black guy, and he was very skilled in the arts of turntablism...
@@PhillipHilton I partied hard in the 90's, seen a lot of talented DJs many times, but I was 4ft from him as he mixed two copies of Freestylers - Check Da Skillz for about 15mins, and it was standout skills from what I'd witnessed over those years being into DJing and collecting Vinyl...
@@Rockafella578 Yeah I witnessed something similar in Plymouth. Except as I recall he was doing this with the Prodigy's Fat of the land. I'm very sad that they aren't still going but nevermind we both got to see them in their prime.
I bought it by accident, well, you know when your intuition tells you, I don’t know how it works (I’ll tell you later). this is a masterpiece, unfortunately the tape was "overplayed". Punk not death))
Are they even making sounds like this today? I still listen to underground music, but can’t find tracks like these anymore. Has someone any recommendations?
Haven’t heard this in yeeeeeears ❤

@@Rockafella578 Yep. A short American guy from Chicago. All the advertising stated he was "a colossus on the decks" he was about 5'4“ as I recall.
