This is so amazingly smart and easy! I dread sewing on legs and arms and hold my breath through the whole process of getting them in the right place. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m looking for a pattern to make a doll for a friend. I’m going to use your technique!
My favorite Easter memory was when I was younger we always went to my grand parents and celebrated Easter. We would color eggs and hunt eggs all day long. I miss my Grandparents. I love your videos and I love your sense of humor as well. You make me smile when I feel blue and sad. Thanks for your wonderful videos and giveaways.
Holly, I just found this video after your latest doll video was posted. I must say I love how much you let your personality show now. Keep the great videos coming. My son and I love watching them.
Ive been watching alot of different ways to make joints movable and yours seems the easiest. Can make all the parts then sew on rather than trying to add a cotter pin join and hoping its in the correct position then trying to finish project. Thanks for an easier way.
This is a brilliant way to attach arms. I gave my bunnies movable arms after I watched this video! Have a crochet doll in progress right now, and she will have movable arms too :) I use a string of yarn, as industrial grade thread is out of reach for me - but luckily it seems to work just fine. Thank you for this tip, and sharing. 🎈
Can you please make a video on how to make these amazing dolls. I have little nieces that would go nuts over these. I would love to learn these from you.
I’m excited about the pattern. I have three granddaughters that would love them as much as I do. It would be wonderful to be able too crochet them for children of trauma to comfort them as well. Thank you for your tutorials!
The Proper Pineapple how about a simple cal for group class on your birthday give away...for the basic instruction. I also thought that your hubby may be able to make special crochet hooks that look like pineapples in different colors.
Love it; thank you! :) If you do the video on how to crochet your dolls, I'd love to see it... and then may order the items for the legs once available. :)
The Proper Pineapple, I got your channel from Bag-O-Day crochet. I was watching your tutorial & I just love your crochet dolls. I was just wondering if you had a tutorial for the doll body? I'm the kind of person that like to try out stuff & your doll looks amazing to try. Well have a great day.
Hello Holly, only just come across this 😁 thank you, very helpful 😋 & also I think it's the first time I have seen you without your glasses on 😋 I had to put my glasses on to see if it was you 😂 💙 Erica x
Very interesting! I have just started to learn how to make dolls and I chanced upon your video and decided to subscribe to your channel. Please do put up a video of how to make a crochet doll from start to finish. That would be lovely! Also, what are stitch markers? Never heard of it before. And how do you insert them, that part of the video was not shown as to how you pinned it into the doll. Wish you would show us a close up of that next time. Thanks.😀
Thank you Holly. I know your hubby is the camera man..that's AWESOME , is there a way he can zoom in? Between colors of yarn and stitches being tight..There's no way to see what your doing. And these lil details matter GREATLY! Your a doll ;-) ty again P.s.noticed this regularly can't Sr what your showing. What agonist a dual screen full video in corner zoom in main frame..? Holly, do you weigh down the dolly's feet with anything besides the platforms you use for the bottoms? If you were to, would you use something like small beans or lentils in a pouch lain on the very bottom?
I'm fostering a African-American child I wish I could make this for her but I can't read patterns At all I can't find African American dolls any place specially like the ones you make amazing work she lost all her doll in a fire and her parents 😓
