Having ridden this climb twice before I agree that second steep bit is absolutely dreadful. Great video again. 👍

Great video, gives a real vision of the climb which is sometimes difficult to show. Did this one on a hot day, tough but amazing

Did it yesterday. Wow, what an experience, an epic climb! Thick cloud and fog about half way up reduced visibility to about 50 metres, which tbh may not have been a bad thing as it sort of removed the 20% section from my eyeline. So a bit of a mental victory in itself and then just a case of pedal and grind and focus on my front wheel. The descent was hairy though for sure and yes be wary of those sheep. Lowest gearing used was compact at the front and 30T at the back. Love your videos, really informative.

Yes it's a cracker. Was there again last week. Do try to get up there on a clear day but in any case the sense of isolation is great. I was so cold after the decent I couldn't feel my face!

Liked it so much I did it again today , only picked a bad week as the farmers said it’s the week they move all the sheep and there was a huge stampede on the way down as I was going up , best thing was it was clear at the top this time and is a sensational view and saw other cyclists also

Yeah it's a corker. It's def up there as one of my favorites. Great the way you have the place to yourself.
I did Blea Tarn later that day - I agree it's a lovely climb, just the right length and in a beautiful tarn. I stuck my drone footage up for you - shame the light wasnt a bit better...

errr.... I think I got mixed up. I seem to remember you saying blea tarn was a great one, but you didn't mention it!

@@ukhillrecon7825 no I did mention Blea Tarn in one of your previous videos, that and Birker Fell, two of my favourite lakes climbs. Blea is great, scenery on both sides is beautiful, Birker is a better climb to ride tho I think. Corney Fell aswell, great thing is you can easily do all 3 in a day and throw some other local crackers in too. Man, so many great climbs, so little time!!
Dun Fell is on my to do list, it looks so isolated, I love climbs like that, you get in that mental zone and nothin else exists...amazing. Hopefully get Dun Fell ticked off later this year.

Ah good, I thought you said blea was a good one. I'll look forward to birker
Yeah I love the isolated ones. I'm gonna have another go at dun as I butchered my first attempt, so unfit.

@@ukhillrecon7825 Yeah Birker isnt difficult at all, its just a beautiful climb, lovely to ride, flows beautifully and surrounded by amazing scenery, it has that sense of isolation too, and the approach is great, like youre being ushered into the climb. its magic.

It's hardly Mont Ventoux, let's be honest.
