Thanks so much. Line 6 sent me a replacement and I had it in a few days. Thanks to this video it was so easy to change. Use a T6 driver to take out the 4 little screws. Then take out the Phillips screw, carefully pop the top off and replace the door and put back together. So easy! Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much for posting this, Dyan. I just got my replacement battery cover, and didn't even think of removing the screws on the back to get the pin locked in on both sides. I kept thinking the pin should be more like the one on a wrist watch band!
I left my transmitter unattended with batteries and it leaked battery acid, the door was ruined and the transmitter was in rough shape, I ordered the door off the website took it all apart did a hard cleaning with isopropyl and put it back together sadly from dropping my transmitter at so many shows the actual case was warped so I still had to tape mine up with gorilla tape to make a solid power contact but it still works!! These things are built like tanks
Thanks for posting this video! I also found another video where a guy pulled the bottom battery tabs up to provide a tighter fit for the batteries against the transmitter's battery door. That seems to work, too, to resolve the transmitter from poor power connection.
@@vaincasey9371 sorry no, it’s been a long time. Essentially, all I did was take a regular paper clip, stretch it out and make a little hook at the end, reach into the battery compartment, slide the paperclip under the battery terminal and just give it a tug up/outward, and that will increase the spring tension so that when you put the battery back in, it’ll press against the Battery door, and it works great!
I ordered it directly from line 6 UPC# 97-000-0022 replacement door for Relay G50, G55, G90, XD-V55, XD-V70, XD-V75 $11.99 phone # 818-575-3600 Glad this video helps everyone!

My battery door does not want to open. I am having to pry it open. Is this what happened to yours? Or did yours not stay closed?
