    Nice work!
    That suspension usually likes more wheels on the rails for less drag.
    Rotate your tach so the rpm you want is at 12 o clock position. Much easier to see if your rpm is where you want it.
    On that engine, 8000 rpm hot pipe.

    Not sure if it's the same with sled tracks but super glue works well to keep the studs from tearing out on my ice set, if that becomes an issue of yours

      @MunsonMotorsports  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's a great idea, I 100% would have done that on install. If there's a next time I'll definitely be doing that

      Man be careful I put those style studs in my 09 800 R crossfire and ended up with three holes in my heat exchanger because they flew out of the lugs.

      It works pretty well once you get the technique sorted hahah...a fresh blade certainly goes a long way too 😆

    @alancall5113 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Use a long bladed razor knife piece of inch and a half flat stock

    • @MunsonMotorsports
      @MunsonMotorsports  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Do you heat/keep the blade really hot when doing it that way?

    • @alancall5113
      @alancall5113 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @MunsonMotorsport no, it cuts like butter a little WD40

    Great looking sled. Sadly those 800 Non-VES were slugs. A good working 600 will run it down.

      We'll see, this thing is pretty spiced up so hopefully it runs better than a stock one. Compression is through the roof on this one...

    you could of bought an air box and the brake line for much less than the money and time you went with.

    In true cheater fashion you should have had your wrap built with 600 on the sides! Content suggestion, we need to know what's going on in the other garages. Get out there spying!

      Everyone's been swamped with wrapping up summer work that there honestly hasn't been much other tinkering...or they're using that as an excuse and actually doing some sneaky mods!

    We knew least I did u didn't make the hot air intake ur like me and too nit picky lol. Just runs best not sucking hot air which I know u know lol

    • @MunsonMotorsports
      @MunsonMotorsports  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm real curious to see how this one does. Whether or not the runners are the same length or similar to what's in the OEM airbox, i have no idea...but at least it'll be drawing fresh air now!

    • @coreygolfer919
      @coreygolfer919 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I imagine anything is better than the hot air intake. I know ideally the intake should be same lengths and bends for mated flow however idk if it would effect it much enough to matter. Idk if it’s in ur cheap sled budget but clutching which u know is so incredibly huge. And if u could track a aftermarket y pipe (don’t remember if it was stock) that would certainly not hurt hp. When I worked counter at D&D everyone wanted to make there stuff faster and louder and bigger and badder but the thing I stressed the most was harnessing the power and getting it transmitted to the ground efficiently and effectively. I like to use +1’mm rollers in primary just to help rotational mass and when my sled ingages which was around 32-3500 I could feel the difference immediately. Since having used them for first time last season I will never run a sled on stock rollers and ramps and weights. My little XRS gets the power to the ground quicker and hits harder then several other sleds I have lined up against on trails. So much that I could sell rollers out of my book bag if I had em with me . Unfortunately my custom clutching was done by someone who is no longer with us so the secrets died with him. But I really woulda liked to see someone on a rev NGL
