Yes, the VMAs 2009 is a must-see. I would add "I Wish" from the Stevie Wonder tribute and "If I Ever Lose My Faith" from the Sting tribute. Also perhaps VMAs 2011 ("You and I") and Oscars 2015 ("Sound of Music" medley).

Some facts about this performance, they were both so nervous, this was Bradley's first time performing in front of an audience. When the were gonna make the movie Gaga accepted the role only if every performance in the movie was live, and Bradley had to learn how to sing, so it's pretty impressive he did this in front of THAT audience...
Also, that necklace you guys mention is from Tiffany, and was previously worn by Audrey Hepburn, worth $30 million!
The song won an Oscar for Best Original Song, and "Shallow" is the most awarded song in history!

That is the Tiffany Diamond. Amazingly beautiful. The audience being back lit and the view from the stage was per Bradley and meant to simulate the movie. This song is the most awarded song as of now.

if you watch the movie, youll notice that the scenes when they’re performing on stage are shot in the same way that this has been shot. they intentionally filmed this performance from the stage view to replicate how the on stage scenes were shot in film!

intrinsically it isnt worth ANYTHING, other than being pretty.. DIamonds unless industrial are nothing more than status symbols, that created by the artificial inflation of a non-existent value. Sure it's a very rare substance, and harder than pretty much anythign else. But even silver gold and platinum have actual uses being just being pretty.

Many have said that Bradley wasn't good here, but i just can't hear anything bad. I have been capable of hearing singing mistakes etc before. I actually notice couple from Gaga's singing. His voice is amazing to me. But you can hear that both are nervous until the end where they are in their feelings.

In the movie A Star Is Born there are many cameras showing the audience. They probably wanted to reproduce this same effect, as if it were a documentary recording
Everyone was hoping they were an item but it was strictly professional. There weren't any "hot scenes" in the movie let alone maybe a kiss or two. The chemistry is definitly there and both are great actors.

That last scene actually makes me uncomfortable. Bradley's wife was literally right there in the audience, and they got divorced like 2 months after that... That was way more than acting.
Irina and Bradley never married. And it was announced that the reason the two broke up was because of Bradley's mother. Gaga and Bradley acted close to each other on the red carpets they attended to promote the movie, and especially in this performance, to emphasize their love chemistry in the movie.

Also Bradley sings the harmony over Gaga, he isn't too bad a singer at all. Something I have always loved is, as a performer, Gaga doesn't care about changing how she looks with facial expressions while singing.
