Great movie. It’s a remake of a Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristopherson movie. Both r great. But check and make sure u watch the latest version to see Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Keep tissues nearby.
So, it was Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real who were the band playing behind Bradley that actually were playing guitar. They laid down all the music first, then had Bradley pretend to play, or play, then muted him and overdubbed the real music in, so it sounded great, and looked like he was playing. If you want to see this done again, react to the two of them at the Oscars.
You should watch interviews Bradley n Lady Gaga did about this movie. They were sitting at Bradley's piano singing 15 minutes after they got together. Lady Gaga said she instantly fell in live with Bradley's voice. And Sam Elliott said one of the main reasons he did the movie was Bradley's voice. Not one mention of vocal classes. Could be wrong but did see multiple interviews.

I wasn't a big fan of either of them until that movie came out. I liked some of Gaga's songs. Did not care about Bradley cooper at all. The music and the chemistry made me a fan. Especially of Gaga stripped down to normal. I think she is the most gorgeous lady. Movie is sad.

No disrespect, but it's one thing to not have heard of this movie, which is a remake x3.....but if you seriously never heard of Bradley Cooper then u clearly haven't watched many movies in the last 20 years. Like seriously? Never even heard of 'The Hangover'? ....I get not knowing actors names but sheeesh
