Same! I caught one of your videos with the Truman State shirt (my youngest son goes there), and had no idea you were in St. Louis! My group is eyeing up Firefight (a couple of us have starter boxes) and I did back their Epic KS.
It was great meeting you in person at Adepticon... I played 3 games over my time there (all more narrative games), Stargrave on Friday, the same Blood & Plunder blockade gane you dud on Saturday, and Silver Bayonet on Sunday. All 3 amazing times, and not competitive!
Most of the games got called for time, before any "real" resolution.... but of the three tables I was able to view, at least two had a ship (each) that likely would have made it had time not cut gameplay short. I "heard" one of the two other tables was in a similar situation. So with that combo of witness and rumour, it seems about 3 of the 5 tables had at least some pirates escape.
My 2 cents on Battletech alpha strike: use a D12 for each attack you have for your mech’s range with one of your D12’s being a different color for your “pilot” die (if it gets a 12 it’s an auto critical hit). Guerrila Miniatures explains this really well and it keeps the game slick and more fun (I play it with my kids).
I just purchased Legion and Crisis Protocol for a great price. I’m really impressed by the swag pack you get. Alas I’m all the way over in Australia. Damn.
There is a ton of options in the Alpha Strike Commander's Edition book that aren't in the AS box set that cann add more crunch. SPAs and SPC, Formation rules, mixed forces and such.
Great video and nice haul which the bonus games are mostly the latest releases from the industry leaders and that Armored Clash box isn't even out yet! Which you could play those tanks in World of Tanks minitures, Bolt Action Tanks(just adjust for size) as well.
I appreciate the reminder about how much Revenant's Run stuff I still need to get printed and on the table!!!! Lol... I have been collecting Breachstorm models mostly for OPR... but they did just drop a new rule set update (they call it version 1.0, so I guess we were playing 0.8 mostly before? lol).... I also just put in an order for Relic Blade (you showed some video, but didn't talk much about that) and backed the rules for their "side game" of Cursebreaker set in the same universe using the same models.... Sean Sutter's stuff is fantastic and I really want to finish painting up my starter set for the Storms of Kural and get that game in front of my friends!
Relic Blade is definitely a great game and Sean is so friendly and creative! I just haven't played in a long time but I think he's doing some good stuff.

I recently got into 3D printing myself and the steep learning curve that entails as there are inexpensive printers but its still not a inexpensive hobby to land into. I probably have about 7 total now, 3 resin (2 needing new fep), and 4 Filament printers of different styles to play around with. I've had memberships with OPR, Titanforge and Loot Studious and a smacking of others as well. I've been wanting to get more into OPR Game rules and playing it. Love to chat about it all.
Nice video. Guess what. Onslaught is my current favorite board game. I’m new to anything D&D. One year in. I play onslaught weekly with some friends here . Onslaught is easy to find gamers because those D&D people can’t get enough of anything D&D. I also pre ordered halo flashpoint, but I have never played dead zone. About to start learning .
I'm glad you like Onslaught! I like that you can use any miniature for the cards rather than being tied to specific ones. Have you tried Trials of Tempus yet?
I'm more of a painter than a player. I picked up two sets of the new Atom paint by AMMO/MIG from Spraygunner's both. I also snagged all three sets of the new paint from Monumental Hobbies. And I grabbed on set of Light and Dark from the Creature Caster booth by Cutlefish colors. The Monumental will be available locally later but the other ones aren't sold by any of the FLSGs so saved myself some shipping. Also snagged several convention exclusive models. Wizkids and Privateer Press had small booths and no activity going by when I was there. There were 3rd party vendors doing more business than they were. I agree that Privateer Press selling 3d figures for 'real' costs instead of STL files is not sustainable. Which is a shame because for a minute there, they were hot and a viable alternative to Warhammer.
I see what you're saying about War Machine. I played it several times and I really enjoyed it! Now, I cant even find their stuff in my local shops. It might be too late to expect a resurgence from that company, because the number of skirmish games has grown exponentially.
They aren't really going to offer it in FLGS's except maybe the starter boxes for each of the Armies. And all the old stuff is no longer being produced.

mildly disappointed that the entire line of zenishifts I bought in december at pax are now a 2.0 version with more paint in them lol, but I like the new bottles, and I might pick up some more of their paints soon after looking at other shifters
I agree , warmachine was the alt for GW. They fizzled out for me after mk2 was over (so mk3) then removing factions and making new ones ? The biggest missed out was just using templates for terrain and no 3d terrain. The tip toe into area terrain was tiring. Good luck to them

They were running Warcrow demos at the CB booth but I didn't try it out. Infinity is too complicated of a ruleset for my tastes so I haven't really looked into Warcrow.

They are using 3d terrain now, and the mk4 rules have created a big resurgence. Many people who quit after mk2 have come back.
