I actually followed suit with one of the mods you did! I had to switch out my damper control wire. (Pain the ass, but I needed my defroster. Gets hella cold up here.) Swapped the dial bulbs for white LEDs since I hate the dull orange everything else on the car is... Wish you could swap clusters without having to pay a shop to edit the odometer/if they were normal socketed bulbs vs SMD LEDs.
That’s awesome!! Im glad my video was able to help. And I know I wish I could change out the LEDS easily on the dash cluster too. But I’m just not that good at soldering to try to do it!

Love your build man, been thinking of doing something similar to my Corolla, it’s a newer model (and a CVT, unfortunate, I know) so it might be a little harder to mod it, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a daily driver modded hear and there in the most modest of ways. I know some people clown the fact that you would mod a Corolla since the tuning potential isn’t the greatest and the market is kinda slim, but if owners like us never even try the market will never adjust.

And a CVT or not, you still got a nice reliable car to modify. And it’s all about what you like and want to do. I know people tell me modifying a corolla is dumb. But it never stops me from continuing. But like you said the more people to modify them the more after market support we get!

This is a great first car! And the fog lights are a great first mod! They don’t only look good! They also work great at night for seeing too!
Love the mods but don't ever add up what you spend, just enjoy your creation! 😂 I would have told you to get the DC Sports ceramic 4-2-1 header and its a much better quality and design. You should look at a rear window spoiler too as they look great.

And I was looking into those headers, but when I looking they were not in stock at the time. And I was also trying to fix an existing exhaust leak, so i said for $100, I can’t complain!
And I will definitely take a look at a rear spoiler. I had one on my Camry, but I didn’t have much luck with it because the tape they used came loose and it fell off my car!
@@BrandonStellmach I bought one many years ago that was paint matched and its never come loose. Make sure to clean the glass! I have the DC Sports header on my 2017 Corolla iM and love it. If you ever have to replace yours they have them in stock when I looked the other day.

On your headers did you have any check ingen light on after ?? And did you remove the cathalic ??

I have the same car but automatic I do have the same set up injen intek and borla exaust . Im in TX we do state inspetion every year thats why Im asking
I never got any check engine lights. And I didn’t change any part of the exhaust expect for the borla muffler. Which isn’t even related to the headers.
When are you going to make a video with the spacers for the rims?
I will hopefully be doing one soon, I just need to do some research on them, I don’t want to buy and show some wheel spacers that are no good!

I have rev9 coil overs, there are a budget coil over compared to the rest of them. And I have no complaints about mine and I have had them for over a year!

The first "mod" I want to perform to my Corolla is installing an aftermarket alarm with GPS tracker, did you install an alarm to your Corolla?
I have not done that yet, but I have installed my own keyless entry for my car, because mine never came with electronic locks.

damn i wish i could find a shop to tint all my windows for $150 total, every shop in the vancouver/portland area wants $80+ PER window
The shop I found was a small local shop, they only had 2 guys working at this place, so I’m pretty sure that’s why it was much cheaper, because I did get some quotes around my area for $250 for the same tint, but with a much bigger company.

How’s the stability when you’re doing high way speeds? Heard suspension of Toyota is not that great.
When I first had the car, I did notice that driving on the highway, the car would feel “floaty” while driving. If it was windy it would try to push the car in the same direction, but now lowering the car with coil overs the car feels more planted to the ground and feel more stable!
