Smaller bags for me. The bigger the bag the more you carry. When i worked in physical therapy women came in with shoulder problems all the time. You cant believe what i saw people pull out of handbags😂😂
Completely agree, I cannot fathom what women are carrying around in those massive totes. I try to avoid the just in case carry most of the time those just in case items are never used and serve only to weigh you down.
This is interesting because some counterfeit products come from the same factory that produces them, the only difference is that they are made slightly better so they can be considered "replicas." Sometimes it’s not even the same factory, but the same factory making the same product in China *condup*
There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *esluxy* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
Medium size bags nail it for most outfits. 😊 A structured satchel with top handles and an optional detachable shoulder strap is my favorite because they are so versatile. ❤ My requirements for a handbag are that it must stand upright on its own when I sit it down, it must have feet, and it must NOT have a huge brand label! IMHO I don't need to shout the label!
Not gonna lie. I OWN the authentic in that same exact color and I STILL got it wrong! And I even use the bag every single day! Only goes to show how damn good these *esluxy* are visually. Now guessing which is the fake by feeling them both in my hands is another story.
I am a senior that lives in jean skirts. American-made bags are my first choice. I am debating between a Jilly Designs, Frank Clegg or Hobo bag next! A mildly structured crossbody helps to not look too frumpy.
Hi. I love those snake print bags you showed! And, I already have an ice blue handbag that I bought several years ago, so I am happy to learn that I am in style, lol. Thanks for the video!
Back when I still went to the office to work I used big tote bags for my computer and everything else I wanted to take. I’m not the type of person who can carry both a purse and computer bag - I just look messy if I don’t keep it very simple
Growing up in New York, I always see women on Park Avenue buying the same counterfeit goods from street vendors. Do what you love with your money *hotdups*
I have a light blue bag, several woven bags and a baguette bag! I stay away from larger bags (no need to carry much) and I prefer my bags to be hands-free. I have a small, very minimal style leather backpack but I'm not hearing much about backpacks currently trending. Also, are metallic bags on their way out? Interesting video, as always! ❤
Sometimes I carry the large bags, but only when I have my young grandchildren with me. Just found an adorable ice blue denim bag in a structured a medium size!
Thank you for doing this! Lots of good info.If you can, please list good websites or places to find *esluxy* , you know, Hermes is so selective. Also, would love to see something about Lady Dior. I have to say, my heart broke a little when you said “Oh, Prada does these as well”, regarding the serial number. (I’m a nurse, so I probably shouldn’t even dream about owning a Birkin, but I bought my first Prada earlier this year and I was so proud of it. Now it feels a bit like Dollar General ).
Thank you. The blue bags are gorgeous. If you have a pulse on the summer dress trend, would you let us know. This is the 50th anniversary of the DVF wrap dress. I sew my clothes, and Vogue patterns has rolled out the pattern for it. I don’t think I’m a wrap dress, kind of girly, ( I have already tried it) but I know that the tiered gather dress from last year is kind of passé.
I agree that the giant totes are more like luggage, and not so practical for everyday. My favorite is the bag with pockets. I now regret some of the bags i donated, including a giant clutch from many years ago. I've had a couple of animal print bags for a while. The moral of the story is if you like a bag and it's in good condition, keep it. You won't have to go shopping when it's a trend again.😊 PS. Round bags were a thing a few years ago too.
My tan Prada leather bag has these outside pockets and its a slouch . i have had it for years. I keep my bags stuffed and on a hall tree in my room. I might get that out Thanks.
Bought an ice blue leather Kate Spade years ago and really struggle to pair it with my outfits - can you offer styling suggestions? It just never seems to be the right bag for whatever I'm wearing. Great video - as always!
Lilac, ice and caramel are wonderful together. It's a combination I spotted in US InStyle magazine in March 2016, and put in my scrapbook. They call them heavenly macaron shades warmed up by a side of rich chocolate brown 😂. I promise it works
@@americafirst9144 According to US InStyle in October 2014, "cozy neutrals like charcoal and cream give the pretty blue a soft landing, and it looks fearlessly sophisticated with burgundy." I have personally tried the last combination, and love it
The huge oversizes totes are just not functional on the everyday. Maybe for a weekender. I prefer the baguettes. My favorite. I love the ice blue trend. I also love the denim trend. I am in TX and see small backpacks and belt bags a lot.
Love your videos! Can you share the info on the turtle neck sweater in this video? I love handbags so this one is most informative. Keep doing what you are doing!
I like the way a satchel feels but if I’m carrying a water bottle snd a book I really prefer a larger tote bag that has a pretty design. Denim just reminds me of the 80s. Lol
I love the way a U shaped slouchy bag looks & how ergonomically comfortable it is to carry BUT I hate digging thru a hobo bag looking for a pen or lipgloss or sunglasses & it not standing up when put down. It needs to be hung up or it just flops open. I know they don't look the most fashionable, but I really like a structured bag with compartments & pouches & outer pockets, especially if they also have "feet" on the bottom which helps protect the leather & allows the bag to stand up when put down. I carried a leather backpack for the longest time (still have it for air travel) but got teased about so much. If you have to carry around a lot of small items including medications, makeup, eye glass cases, your phone, it's important that your bag be comfortable & functional imo.
I'm 37 years old and I already have a *hotdups* black Birkin bag, which was the first good choice I ever made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to associate with a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = up to $1000) Imagine spending $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary.
I would buy the denim skirt and the olive dress. Maybe that pink blazer. Everything else, meh. I was surprised and delighted to learn that large handbags are trending--got one for Christmas. Thank you as always for an informative video.
Hi, Jamie! I think probably the baguette and structured bags are my favorite. I’ve been looking at the Sezane Milo bag. You were my introduction to Sezane some time last year. It has become a favorite! Have you tried any of their leather goods? Another similar bag I’m debating on is the Demellier Vancouver bag. Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend!
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *hotdups* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
My daughter has a lot of kids. So she has always carried a big tote bag. I have one, and it’s just too big for me. I usually carry a smaller crossbody bag. I’m going to look for a blue bag. I don’t think I own one of them.
One thing I do not get are bags designed especially the mini bags that do not fit a large phone easily and correctly. Also, the other thing is why not a back pocket is a requirement?! Last thing is light colored bags with black glazing…why not match it.
I have a purse I bought that is a large handbag and I love it because i CAN put everything I need in it including my water bottle, which i take with me everywhere I go out no matter where I go! I need my water! And with this large bag, I don’t have to carry my water bottle in my hand.
When I travel to the city from Long Island I NEED a big bag....your average Michael Kors tote just won't cut it,,,,any commuter anyone who has a commute is a constant market ditto anyone going from work to evening.. I enjoy small bags as a luxury item that just doesn't do much.....nice though I think of smaller bags for the evening but I won't even look at a bag less than say 10-12 inches wide unless its a clutch I am taking to the opera!
Unless I’m traveling, I need a bigger bag. I don’t know, however, why there aren’t handbags out there that are larger than 10-11” wide but less than 15-16”!
Smaller bags for me. The bigger the bag the more you carry. When i worked in physical therapy women came in with shoulder problems all the time. You cant believe what i saw people pull out of handbags😂😂

I bought a *esluxy* belt in Italy. It’s great quality! No issues with it at all.
I carry a leather backpack. I love the woven ice blue you showed!
I love all bags!
What occasions would you wear these bags? I love your collection. As much as I love my *hotdups*
Princess Kate is the QUEEN of the clutch bag ❤
I keep thinking of adding an ice blue bag to my collection, but resist. Maybe now is the time! Interesting to see the snake print bags/shoes are back.

Girl. That *hotdups* you look great carrying it!! I love it!

I like your style about it very much. In addition to *hotdups* , you have opened up new ideas for me in this field, hahahaha

Love anything snake print😊
Surprised metallic bags were not mentioned.
That would be a great way to incorporate the metallic trend.

As a teacher I use one of the larger bags to carry my laptop or iPad along with makeup, wallet, glasses and hairbrush.

Interestingly, that in a *esluxy* , the inside sewing at the handles is more carefully made (leather is not so frayed), than in the original one,
I was in Turkey recently and brought an empriente multipurpose bag. They showed me the *hotdups* bag and it looked like
I don't carry large bags anymore, I have a few in my closet but never pull them out. I like the denim purses I wear alot of denim these days.
Can’t wait to get an ice blue! So cool!
Hi Jamie, my favourites are the crescent shapes, croc embossed, and the ice blue coloured bags! Thanks! ❤
My favorite is your top! Thanks for the link.
I am seeing the bamboo gucci style coming in strong
My tan Prada leather bag has these outside pockets and its a slouch . i have had it for years. I keep my bags stuffed and on a hall tree in my room. I might get that out Thanks.
Thank you! Great video. Could you please also show which bags are out of style? I have a few that I'm worried about.
Great idea! Thanks!

Haha I just pulled mine out of the closet to see what I can do with it

I have a sky blue skirt I have a hard time styling too. It seems like off white is all I style it with. At least it is in style this year.

Great bags

What was the name of the structured bag that was black with a wavy line on the edges and a white center? Love that one

Not very exciting for me. I don't mind the blue blue or denim. Just haven't found anything I like. Snake print I find hard to match.
Unless I’m traveling, I need a bigger bag. I don’t know, however, why there aren’t handbags out there that are larger than 10-11” wide but less than 15-16”!
Is there any bag that she didn’t mention? 😂 I love almost all of them except the cargo bags…not feeling them at all.
Giant clutches are cute but not practical for day to day. Perhaps for daytime events, brunch, showers, etc...
No favorites here, ill stick with my mini Longchamp for the summer
Pass on the pocket handbags. They are too busy looking and detract from the outfit. I like pockets inside not out personally.
Not carrying a large carry all hand bags. Nope.
Utilitarian bag looks like a baby bag
You have a bright future on TH-cam
