The seat level of China's high-speed rail is different from that of airplanes. The highest level is the business seat, and you are in first class seat, which is the second level seat. Second class seat is the most common seat.
Thanks for pointing that out! I was looking for the business seat in trip.com app, but the best one seemed to be the "premium" seat (which I got here). It also had 1st class and 2nd class seats as a choice. Not sure, maybe its just different in trip.com.
