When I worked in the hotels in engineering, the House keepers had to clean 18 to 20 rooms a day. The best bunch of lady's you could meet, and when they needed some thing fixed it was done! :-)
A lot of places in New Orleans are still some sort of fucked up from Katrina. My dad had some cousins down there and we lost contact with them because of it, and to this day we have no idea what happened to them or if they're even alive.

They get these mattresses from closed motels and dumpsters. After hurricane season in FL, you see hotel and motel owners pulling these from the curb of water damaged hotels all the time! My husband even was clearing a hotel once with a company, and the motel owner across the street was begging for the water logged beds.
I wish Netflix would pick them up. Give them some money for supplies and filming equipment. It would be awesome! If they do this well on another dirty hotel like this imagine what they could do with Netflix!! Love this show!! ❤️🤣❤️
Period blood really looks no different from any other bloodstain however. It’s blood no matter what it came from and should not be there on a mattress in a re rented room regardless.
This Hotel is from the show Hotel Impossible and they tried fixing the problems for them etc and cleaning things up on the show. I guess they failed because the owner is insane

There are people that poo and pee themselves in the bed, most likely due to drugs, theres always blood, either from shooting up or from fights...it's kind of sad if you think about it. So many bad things happen in these hotel rooms, the energy has to be horrible there.

The show Hotel Impossible “The Big Sleazy” covered this hotel, I suggest you give it a watch. The owner is a total tightwad who doesn’t want to invest anything into maintenance and there were serious electrical issues that shut down the hotel for months.

I did maintenance and this place is the worst I've ever seen. It needs to be condemned. Apparently, for the hotel impossible show, they donated a lot. Remodeled the lobby and one room. The condition of the donation was that she signed the business over to her sons. She did and took everything they donated and stored it elsewhere. After the show was gone, she remained owner and frauded them. The items never went to the hotel. They are in various b & bs she has.
Its finished so stop with your capitalist propaganda. Its actually a amazing hotel that is such a envy that the Imperialist societies down play it with such lies.
I always say disregard the 5 and 4 star reviews, but pay attention to everything 3 stars and below. You wanna know what's the worst stuff about the place so you can decide if those are things you're comfortable putting up with.

I stay at a hostel once a month when I go down to Nola. They keep it very clean. I don’t think I’d stay at any hotel there tbh. But this hostel and all the Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at have been very clean and beautiful. And it’s all with in a 15 - 20 min waking distance from the Quarter.
Imagine the staff and other people seeing 3 men walk into a hotel room with all the camera equipment you guys have, and all of a sudden they hear shit like at 12:31... the fact that Brennan walked in shirtless with a camera probably didn’t help either.. oh geez 😂

I do have a friend who works as a housekeeper at a motel and the owner checks every room every day after it’s cleaned to make sure it’s clean like it should be. There few and far between but there are some out there that are decent.
As much as I love seeing Brennan shirtless, I really wish you guys would start wearing hazmat suits or some from of protective gear while making these. Even visiting these places can't be good for your health. The amount of mold spores in that place has got to be astronomical. Fully agree with Rick here, this place needs shut down soon. Like yesterday soon. Even the wall is buckling, where the AC is leaking has got to pose a fire risk, there's piss on every place you'd be sleeping on, and that just the two rooms we saw.

Anyway, I rate it a 1 only because of the carnivalesque eternity wall of vortex mirrors along the extra long hallway. Also, I could get a free lukewarm cup of coffee in the morning. I stay at a hostel once a month when I go down to Nola. They keep it very clean. I don’t think I’d stay at any hotel there tbh. But this hostel and all the Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at have been very clean and beautiful. And it’s all with in a 15 - 20 min waking distance from the Quarter.

@Wybie Nicer hotels won’t be like this but motels are a different story.
I do have a friend who works as a housekeeper at a motel and the owner checks every room every day after it’s cleaned to make sure it’s clean like it should be. There few and far between but there are some out there that are decent.

As much as I love seeing Brennan shirtless, I really wish you guys would start wearing hazmat suits or some from of protective gear while making these. Even visiting these places can't be good for your health. The amount of mold spores in that place has got to be astronomical.
Fully agree with Rick here, this place needs shut down soon. Like yesterday soon. Even the wall is buckling, where the AC is leaking has got to pose a fire risk, there's piss on every place you'd be sleeping on, and that just the two rooms we saw.
This makes me happier to stay in quarantine.

Hahaha! I actually spent a night here 3 years ago. My god what memories you brought back! lol. I thought $35 was cheap. It looks like the exact duvet cover. Excuse me while I hurl 🤢🤮. Anyway, I rate it a 1 only because of the carnivalesque eternity wall of vortex mirrors along the extra long hallway. Also, I could get a free lukewarm cup of coffee in the morning. This review is a masterpiece. Too bad I couldn’t have seen it a few gullible years ago. Thank you for sharing this.
