The B.U.I.C.K. buttons on the radio are presets. You tune to a channel using the knob and then hold a button and one of the presets to set it to that station. Now with a push of the button you can get back to that station in an instant. Most of the time the buttons didn't even have labels because you'd just remember them by position.
