I got it. It’s not like regular milanese bands. Hard to describe, but it feels different. It doesn’t pinch or pull hairs. I also really like the latch mechanism. It stays at the tightness you set it at.
Have all the band types for my Ultra 2 and this is my favorite one. I really enjoy it and find the $199 easier to swallow because of that. It’s a quality piece as well. Really makes the watch look even more premium.
If I discovered an infinite money glitch, I might get a black watch in addition to a silver one … but for now, silver is simply more versatile: it looks great with all of my cunning ensembles.
Controversial? To who, exactly? For those that already had an Ultra? I got my first Ultra last month. I paid only $100 for the bracelet, because I got it with the watch. It is the best bracelet ever made for an Apple Watch. It is worth it. Super comfortable. And I love the clasp.
It’s the best one. Very comfortable, smooth, breathable, and lightweight. I think it’s more comfy than my ocean band. Especially since you can really lock down the custom wrist sizing for the perfect fit. I even compared it to knock offs, and it definitely better than the knock offs. If you have the money for an Apple Watch Ultra it’s worth it.
Nice review. It’s a very nice looking and well constructed band. Not at all overpriced, IMO. I originally bought one for my 46mm Series 10 but think the looping of the band at the lug end to be distractingly bulky. It throws off the symmetry of the watch too much. I eventually stopped using it with the series 10. However, with the ultra, it’s fine. The slightly bulkier ultra offsets the bulkiness of the looped part leading to a far less lop-sided appearance. I’ve avoided looped bands for this reason but am willing to make an exception with this band. I agree with your comments about the finickiness of the clasp but think it a good compromise to achieve a more streamlined appearance. I really dislike bulky buckles and clasps with strap ends sticking off etc.
this video answered all my questions about this band. i have a series 10 jet black with an old black milanese loop so i wanted to see it on the series 10 and make sure it fits right and looks good. gonna go pick one up tomorrow
I bought the new Titanium Milanese loop and it's extremely comfortable(unless someone reminds me I spent €200). I have the old Milanese loop also, and that didn't suit me well.
After learning today that the bog standard Apple Watch Sports strap has a high content of harmful PFAS chemicals, made the decision much easier to spend another $199 to get this Titanium black Milanese strap to fit my month old Apple Watch Series 10 46MM black aluminum case.
Not sure which size to pick my wrist measures 185mm (or about 18cm) so medium covers me supposedly just fine. But not sure if I should go with the larger size which should not only fit me but would give me enough excess material to fit as I see fit. I just dont want it too loose, thoughts?
Have it on the Ultra 2 natural titanium with the black titanium milanese loop, simply love it, it feels so diferents, the hair doesn't stick and the watch is safely strapped
Just got one from the Mrs for Christmas and it’s so nice, 100% worth the cost compared to knockoffs from Amazon. It’s so light weight and looks amazing 🎉
Agreed: this band has rarely pulled on my arm hairs, in contrast with the OG Milanese band, which seemed to do so all the time. I think once I tried it out in the apple store I was sold. I daily it all the time to work or casual occasions. This is definitely my favorite AW band that they have pretty much ever made. It’s not cheap unfortunately, but it’s lightweight, durable, and it’s gotten to the point where I haven’t swapped it out with another band in the weeks since I got it. Infact, I’m able to sleep with it without issue.
Tried all the watch bands at on Apple Shop last week. There is no doubt the Titanium band is nice, but fiddly to put on. I am sure one would get used to putting it on and off with practice. I find a lot of the Apple bands just cheap looking, (I mean Velcro really). My preference would be for the Ocean band, a traditional style band, very easy to put on and adjust. I am surprised Apple does not offer more of the "traditional" bands (easiest to adjust bands) for the Series 10. Thanks for the video.
It's worth it. Had my Ultra for two years I wear this unless I'm at the gym. Alpine loop or noma Nomad Rocky Point band when at the gym or dressing down.
Of all the overpriced products Apple sells, this is the one you "experts" zero in on? In reality, $200 is an extremely fair price for this product. You will not find a similar product of equal quality and materials at a lower cost. The margins on this products are a fraction of the margins Apple makes from other watch bands, like the $3 silicon bands they sell for $50 or the $5 ones they sell for $100. The leather bands Apple used to sell weren't bad either, but they don't last that long. I need a new one every year. So, would I rather keep buying those for $100 or get one of these for $200 and have it likely last for 5+ years? Easy choice.
I am on an Apple Watch 7. If I were to upgrade, I would choose the Ultra in natural titanium color. The black on the watch always reminds me of the plastic LED Casio watch I had in my youth.
I just switched from the Ultra to model 10. I was frustrated with the Ultra it is just too thick and gets in the way all the time. you can definitely feel the weight difference between the 2
I am a cheap child of late depression era parents. I only purchase black stretchy nylon solo loop bands for my Apple Watch 6 at $ 9.98 US and replace them as needed. That being said I have owned high-end watches the cost more than the highest price, Apple Watch Ultra. Moved to Apple Watch 6 for O2 and other health monitoring when COVID-19 broke out.
I only have 1 Apple Watch band and it’s the Milanese loop ($99) for my old Apple Watch 4 that I still wear because I have lots of bands and cases for it. My new Apple Watch Ultra 2 titanium has the blue Alpine Loop band and I’m going to order some new bands and cases for it but not from Apple. The prices are ridiculous and for what?
Yeah, let's put on cheap knockoff bracelet on a $800 Apple Watch Ultra. Make sense. Someone already showed how bad the generic alternative mesh bracelet is. Your ultra may fall off your wrist, breaking your watch.
@@RabbitWatchShop calm down, we all prioritize what is important to us. They all appear to be titanium, so the strength is there. But I see no value in paying a $170+ premium for a “higher” grade of titanium.
I’m pairing this natural Milanese band with an apple series 10 Slate watch (after trying out all the different Apple series 10 watch colors at the Apple Store) and it looks super clean with that color combination
I got the Natural Titanium coloured Stainless Steel Milanese Loop with my Series 10 but didn’t find it comfortable so I have gone back to the traditional fluorostomer Sport Band.
I do have a watch 10 with the stainless mesh band I like it but and do not like it. when I try to take it off and put on. the magnets are very strong so it attaches very quickly making it a bit if a challenge to adjust to the correct fit. I’ve had it 3 days so I’m sure I’ll get used to it. doesn’t pinch on my skin of doesn’t stay wet very long after a shower. I like how it feels on my wrist
We'll just have to agree to disagree. Some people won't have as much importance on comfort, materials, or design. It's just a trade off and what one prefers. Luckily there are a LOT of options out there.

The only controversy is apple fraudulently claiming their watches and bands to be carbon neutral
Proof to the contrary?
@ 1. Common sense, everything requires carbon. 2. Google it

At any price a Milanese loop band is not worth anything if you have hairy wrists.
I don't have luckly 😅
Looks nice but not worth it to me. I still use a series 4 watch and when it dies I won’t replace it.
Not worth the price and it’s not that great as everyone makes it out to be (IMO)
I didnt even know this was an Apple thing. I picked one up on amazon for like $20.
No Apple Watch bracelet will ever justify a $200 Price point, even if it were made out of Kryptonite.
