A well done How to Play within 10 minutes! Small correction though: You must pronounce Agricola so that the stress is on the "i" and not on the "o". ;-)
Thank you for this video, it was really easy to follow for me as I just got this game. I do have a question about the player boards, I noticed that the version I have has 2 sides (one like it is shown in the video, the other side has place to store resources). In the rulebook there isn't any information about which side to use in the base game of other versions, do you have an idea? Thanks
We are glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. If I am understanding you correctly, I believe that version of Agricola simply allows you to store your resources in those stalls on the player board. So you can use either side.
Question: when you put a worker on the meeting place space, it says you immediately become the starter. Does this mean that if player B places it, they place their other worker right away because they’re the starter? Or do you play that turn until the old starter and then go to the new starter to start that turn? Or does this mean player B starts the next round? It’s not clear when it says “immediately” and not “next round”
Player B places their worker on the meeting place space, then takes the yellow start player marker. Next round they would be the first player. I believe the "immediate effect" is simply taking the first player token.
So if i sow grain, i place one 1 to turn it into 3 grain in the field. But as I understand i can only take one at harvest? So next round, will the grain already be "sown", since 2 grain remains in the field (i.,e will the 2 become 4)? Are there any effects in the game that allows me to use more of the planted grain in the field? I don't get this part.
Yes the grain is sown, additionally you can only sow grain in empty fields so 2 would never turn into 4. I don't think there is a card that allows you to harvest more grain but if there is, it would probably be an occupation (yellow card)
@@TheBoardMeeples Yea I'm sure that's correct, however I am a stick in the mud so I will continue to call it Agri cola, just sounds closer to the word agriculture
Not sure to understand the parents and newborn. If I have 6 sheep amd get 2 newborn, who are the parents😅? Why would anyone eat them if the feeding phase is over? Or is it just something to make you lose the newborn if you have no space? But then again you can simply cook them in the feeding phase to make room for newborns.
You're correct that you have to cook in the feeding phase before the birthing. The only correction to your statement is that you can only ever have 1 newborn. 6 parents will still only make 1 newborn. The challenge comes from not having space and only having 2 parents. It prevents you from getting free food essentially.
Angry Cola sounds fun
Haha, it sure is!
Very clear and simple explanation!! Thank you so much!
It's our pleasure, it is a great game. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Enjoy!

Our pleasure.
Exceptionally clear
Thanks!
Love the trays for the components, wonder where we could find one of these?
Hello, we actually 3d printed them. We found them very handy for all sorts of boardgames.
You can find lots of trays on www.thingiverse.com/ or other sites. Some allow you to order some too.

Thanks! We appreciate the feed back and will try to stress the i more often :D
It is pronounced: A-Gric-u-La
Signed: Someone who lives in Halifax, where Agricola street is a main thoroughfare.
I can hear it now with the accent!

You mispronounced the game title. It’s “A-GRICK-O-LA” not “A-GRICK-COLA”
Hmmmm... Cola.
Finally, someone who says Agri Cola correctly. So many say "Agri gula"
Exactly!
It is not pronounced correctly. It bothers me ever time I heard it.
It is more like a-gree-kuh-luh.
According to google uh·gri·kuh·luh
Unless you like Riiiicccoooollaaaa (the cough drop)
@@TheBoardMeeples Yea I'm sure that's correct, however I am a stick in the mud so I will continue to call it Agri cola, just sounds closer to the word agriculture
Don't worry, we will too :D
An interesting channel. “Thub Ordem Eeples”. I hope I pronounced that right. I wouldn’t want to be disrespectful to the creators.
