I appreciate your insight on the rebel flag and you were exactly right I know for me and all my family and friends who fly it has never meant racism to us. When I see it it just fills me with a sense of pride and makes me feel great about who I am and where I came from. I live in a pretty diverse very southern small down and the highschool is 1 big parking lot and 90% of the guys there black and white had some sort of rebel flag memorabilia on or in the truck somewhere. And this feels weird to mention because growing up I didn’t even know that racism was still a problem nowadays until I started to get older but everyone always got along great. People would get into fight frequently but it was never over race. The brotherhood to each other in my town is beautiful. We don’t even have to exactly know each other but you can be sure that all parties are giving everyone the respect they deserve and you can guarantee if you’re in a line in a public space there will be small talk going on and I’ve heard of people making life long friends by talking to somebody about fishing in the Winn-Dixie 😂 and my bad this is the hideas so I got high and ended up typing a book
