When I was a teenager there were still efforts to create distrust between Africans and African Americans by various groups. Look how quickly Auston developed good brotherly relations in East Africa. In relationships between Africans and African Americans both parties bring something to the table.

@@Hippobottomless In Tanzania, do as the Tanzanians do. If we go to Africa with American buying culture we will drive the price so high no one will be able to afford anything. This is what's happening in Ghana, after the year of return. We need to pay full price in the U.S when buying from other African Americans. Muzungoos in the U.S use super high rents and fees as a tactics when we open business, in hopes we fail.

I don't know how they do real estate in Tanzania. But in Kenya it's really important that you try to determine the reputation of the seller before you make any important decisions. Find out whether the seller has had any problems and if so, have they been resolved? Also, consider getting a good lawyer who can go over your paperwork before any money has exchanged hands, just to make sure everything is fine. In Kenya there are definitely some shady characters in the real estate business, meaning that someone not based in the community needs to do due diligence, as they say.

I live in Jacksonville, FL here in the USA. The apartment featured in this video is beautiful. It is better than the places I have lived in over the years. To call places like a Tanzania, Africa a third world country is foolish. The world is advancing and developing faster than many western countries. There is no need to stay in the USA. The politicians and lazy people are turning this country into a third world hell hole.

    Both apartments look nice.
However things need to ve seen in context
$500 - $600 is very cheap for someone coming from the West.
But it seems Tanzania accommodation is a bit on the high side.
I've recently relocated to Abuja, Nigeria and for about $400 per month I and my partner live in a 4 bed 2 floor place with each room ensuite.
Its in a middle income area.
However in Nigeria you have to pay 1 year upfront.
The only downside to living in Abuja, despite it being the capital of Nigeria, is it can get a bit boring.
To counteract that my plan is twice a year spend 1 month in another Africa. Sonas Tanzania is on my radar for nwxt year I'm enjoying ypur channel.
Hope you flat huntingbworks out well.

What about hitting other African countries before getting a crib?

  • @tekds1492
    @tekds1492 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Bro. Just go with the one that’s completed. When some africans get the money you don’t know how long it will take them to complete the others. I kinda like the first one anyway. Another thing to consider about those water tanks being on the ground, having a third floor apartment will give you bad water pressure if they don’t have a pump that’s good as well as constant power to run the pump. Most african countries have plenty of space in their luxury apartments. You’ll love any one of those apartments as far as being spacious.

No side rails? I like the second one. Very westernize look and taste. I would buy a portable fridge and a portable stove with one burner. That’s all you need. Portable appliances.

  • @adegorao

I would take the lower priced apartment. You are single with no kids, you don't need a huge amount of space. Also, I like the option to buy which I would recommend, you are not losing out altogether and can sell in the future.

whatsup man, I'm Tanzanian. I live in Dallas, TX tho. You definitely making me wanna come back home, my rent this year went from $1500/mth to $1800/mth for a one bedroom apt. here in TX, just two years ago I was paying around $1300/mth. My unit is only 753sq ft
High inflation & recession out here. First I'm gonna get some investment properties here then i'll plan my exit strategy. My passive income will pay for my lifestyle out there. if you're still there in a few years maybe we could kick it sometime....Peace!
