Half crazy was a great song but my faves are previous cats (shout out Eric Roberson) Mother father, religious. Check out Previous Cats...first then miss Philadelphia, then Just friends. I can guarantee that you will love those three. His songs tend to tell story’s that can be relatable.
Growing up here in Philly in the early 2000s, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, Jill Scott, Glen Lewis, Floetry, kindred the family soul, and the Roots, Codey Chestnut were our theme music. That was the era that really brought our city back to life artistically

I believe this album was released in 2002 and he had one studio album previous to this one. I feel like when he came on the scene he was one of those artists who was just different at that time and he stood out (1st single "Just friends"). He covers some out of the box topics that you don't hear everyday in music. This is what I like about him, he's kind of like an intellectual Artist. He teeters that line between artistic and intellectual in my opinion. One of my favorite artists from this time. Other tracks, his first album is good, "Love" and "Just friends" were singles but "Mary go Round" also good. "Teachme", "GreatestLove" from some later albums also good.
