- VN24 - Olsberg-Antfeld / Germany - At about 12:45 pm an semi-trailer truck got out of control on a downhill road in the village of Antfeld. The 53-year-old driver, according to the traces of the accident, drove on the federal road B480/B7 almost in the middle of the road for reasons as yet unknown. Shortly before the Franz-Hoffmeister-Straße junction, he was confronted by a truck in oncoming traffic whose 36-year-old driver was still trying to swerve onto the edge of the road. Nevertheless, the two trucks collided and the semi-trailer truck skidded down a slope to the left, where the driver's cab bored itself into the rear wall of a double garage, which partially collapsed and buried a new BMW under the rubble. The truck was in danger of crashing further, damaging a stationary gas tank several cubic metres in size. The fire brigade organised a wheel loader which secured the semi-trailer truck until it was recovered by a towing contractor. Meanwhile, the driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Wiso wird der Lkw nicht nach hinten raus gezogen ,ggf Bergung mittels Mobilkran
Erst den Auflieger mit dem Bergetruck ziehen und die Zugmaschine mit dem Kran sichern,ggf zweite Bergefahrzeug mit zusätzlicher winde sichert noch.
Whilst the cost of the equipment used can be measured in EUROS, the skills of the guys using it must be 'priceless'! Thanks to ALL recovery teams everywhere !
Top bergung 💪bin selbst seit jahren in dieser branche tätig und kann nur sagen sehr interessante bergung und alles richtig gemacht 👍 klar hätte man hier und da was besser oder effizienter machen können aber hätte hätte... alle anderen die was anderes behaupten, haben von dieser Branche keine Ahnung woran es wirklich ankommt.
Da kann ich nur zustimmen: Diese Bergung sah aus wie aus dem Lehrbuch (zumindest meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach).
Ist "Abschleppwagenfahrer" denn tatsächlich ein anerkannter Beruf, den man erlernen kann?
Oder sind das alles Kfz.-Mechaniker oder -Mechatroniker, die "nebenbei" auch noch LKW aus dem Graben ziehen?

Der Auflieger war wohl unbeladen, sonst hätte es wohl nicht so gut funktioniert, mit sonst bis zu 32to, und Leergewicht ca. 7,5to oder weniger!

Pra resgatar uma carreta dessas nessas condições não é uma tarefa fácil, muito complexo, e não dá pra ter certeza absoluta que irá dar certo, mas tem que tentar, pois terá que ser retirado. Parabéns a toda equipe. Brasil 🇧🇷
Could not understand why they never started off pulling from the rear & when they did only left enough room for a short pull before having to move again.
To me they just made hard work of it even though they had a stack of good kit.

Als ich den Lkw Führerschein 1994 in der Tasche hatte, fing ich in einer Spedition an die Mehl ausgeliefert hatte. Unter anderem wurde auch ein Kunde(Bäcker)in Antfeld beliefert. Name vom Bäcker weiß ich nicht mehr. Und dieser Kunde hatte sein Geschäft und die Backstube genau gegenüber der Bergung gehabt. Damals hatte der Kunde schon mehrmals gesagt das Lkw ohne Rücksicht die Straße herunter donnern und zum Glück noch nie was passiert ist. Das war 1995 wo er das sagte. Und 2020 passierte es nun. Ach ja, der Bäcker hat mittlerweile sein Geschäft geschlossen.
Marcus Krüger Die Bäckerei gegenüber hieß einfach „Bäckers“ , hatte unten die Backstube und oben Verkauf und ein Lokal. Aber auf der anderen Seite lang unsere alte Volksschule. Zum Glück gab es damals noch nicht diese Trucks, sonst hätten wir öfter schulfrei gehabt ...

No entendí la forma de sujetar los pernos de la rueda. Aprendí esa forma .
Soy operador certificado de camiones grúas articulados .
Lo único es que en mi caso uso los polines o plataforma ancha y larga , para posicionar el equipo y evitar que se hunda el asfalto .

I would have thought a crane could have lifted the cab and in doing so, speeded up the recovery! Time is money.
Except that it might have taken hours to get a crane to the scene in a narrow village, thus slowing down the recovery before it could be speeded up.

I would love to know what the police report made of the course of the RTC.
Love watching this type of thing but have no idea why? (Boys with their toys perhaps?)There were times there when the recovery truck was fighting a losing battle and looked to be pulled over but it won in the end.
Maybe should watch Plaza towing and Johnnys recovery videos now and again.

If the yellow MAN wrecker had a large length of wood placed between the two rear axles, so the top of the wood is resting on the rear tyre and the bottom by the forward drive axle; then it would help it from slipping backwards.

Bin zwar kein Fachmann, aber mir scheint, hier wurde etwas kompliziert vorgegangen. Dennoch eine tolle Leistung der Bergungsfirma un dem Mann hinter der Kamera.

Sicherlich wäre es mit einem Kran einfacher gewesen aber ein ensprechender Kran ist nicht immer auf die schnelle verfügbar. Zudem muss dafür auch der Platz da sein und eine Kostenfrage ist es auch. Das Bergefahrzeug war ohnehin vor Ort und wenn man den LKW damit wieder auf die Straße bekommt ist es doch ok. Wozu dann noch einen teuren Kran anfordern, was zudem möglicherweise Stunden dauert ehe er eintrifft.

Ich finde vor allem, dass es für die Bergungsarbeiter nicht ungefährlich war. Sicher haben diese eine super Arbeit geleistet. Das ist eine harte Arbeit, zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit.
@@1Eyko Ungefährlich ist dieser Job grundsätzlich nicht. Wenn man diese Videos öfter anschaut sieht man oft gefährliche Situationen, die sich aber wohl nicht immer ganz vermeiden lassen. Gerade bei gesperrten Autobahnen bzw. Hauptverkehrsstraßen soll es ja auch möglichst schnell gehen, auch um Folgeunfälle zu vermeiden. Ich finde den Job auch verdammt hart und möchte wirklich nicht tauschen. Meinen Respekt haben die Jungs auf jeden Fall.
Stell Deinen PKW in die Garage, haben sie gesagt. Da ist es sicher, haben sie gesagt. .....

Judging by other recovery videos on this channel (and others as well), this type of lifting adapter - and of various other designs - is commonly used there. Makes sense - wheels are designed to carry the entire load, so they are certainly "strong points" by which you can safely lift the entire truck (see the opening screen on th-cam.com/video/OGWrQ9pU5ro/w-d-xo.html)

Wenn die aber keinen Kran haben udn doch den Auftrag abwickeln wollen, dann ist eben Einiges "unvermeidlich".
So eben Sattelzug wegwerfen, Fahrbahn neu aufbauen. Wenn Gewalt nichts nützt, muss eben mehr Gewalt ran?
Fairly impressive array of equipment and they obviously know how to use it. A Rotator would certainly have made the job simpler and Quicker though.
Rotator like they use in the US, isn't normally strong enough for European trucks.
@@KeesAmf I am trying to figure out how that could be the case as the European trucks are no bigger than those in The USA.I have noticed that there are at least a couple of Rotators now in Europe

Ich kenne die Ecke und denke das ein kran sich dort nicht hätte aufstellen können.

Dass die den nicht gleich nach hinten raus gezogen haben? Klar seitlich gegen abrutschen sichern, aber halt nicht erst das halbe Erdreich damit umgraben. Aber was der BMW Fahrer jetzt denkt, würde man gerne wissen, der war sich bestimmt bis zu dem Tag zu 100% sicher, dass dem BMW in der Garage nichts passieren kann / wird. Was für ein Glück haben wir, dass Autos und LKW zumindest noch nicht fliegen können, sonst wäre man einfach nirgendwo mehr sicher.
Wenn die paar Grasbüschel auf der Straße deine größte Sorge sind dann passt es ja

Caribbean Shipspotting Ron would of had it out in five minutes. It still would of had 5hrs walking round saying we could do this and that, thanksgiving everybody.

@@philyew3617 smart ass , been doing that job 50yrs, putting all that side strain through the frame of the wrecker, is not good, neither is snatching off the lower boom, in case you did not notice they finally turned the MAN around, pulling off the rear is always best, the right angle pulling from right rear corner pulls trailer out sideways and rearwards out at the same time, particularly if you use 2 winches an empty trailer like that is a picnic,we have done much more complicated work with a twin boom,
When this pandemic is over I think Ron Pratt needs to slip over to Germany and teach them how to recover a semi trailer; this is painful to watch.
They look like amateurs as regards to Ron Pratt, especially the way they use the hooks, direct the cables, and lack of general ideas for making a hard job easier and safer. Notice they do not wear head protection atall.......

...das soll jetzt keine Kritik sein, aber ich frage mich bei solchen Bergungsarbeiten immer warum man da derart aufwändig arbeitet... mit zig Bergefahrzeugen, Winschen mit etlichem Umsetzen während der Bergung, usw.
Für einen (kleineren) Mobilkran... ich sag mal selbst für einen 80 bis 120Tonner wäre es eine streßfreie Spielerei (man benötigt ja fast keine Ausladung) erst den leeren Trailer (ca. 5 bis 10 to.) und anschließend die Zugmaschine (ca. 8 to.) mal eben wieder auf die Straße zu stellen.
Ohne zusätzlichen Flurschaden, ohne Streß für die Bergungskräfte und v.a. ohne viel Risiko.
Gut bei uns hier in der Region gibts etliche Kranbetriebe... da steht fast an jeder Ecke ein einsatzbereiter Mobilkran in der Größe.
Aka02011, I see you point, but to attempt to lift both the tractor unit and the trailer at the same time could be problematic. Using two or more towing points to stop the trailer and tractor from turning over as it is pulled from the rear is a standard method a well proven method.

Well in germany rotators arent used as much like in the US. But it seems that a few tow companies found out about that those things are actually pretty useful because i saw a few rotator like recovery trucks recently. But they still have the "rare"-status.
We use mobile cranes instead, and they are not cheap to use. Also, there seems to be little space where the accident happened.

@@christianwortmann3672 Ich denke ihr habt es am Anfang etwas seitlich die Böschung herauf gezogen, um es vor dem Umkippen zu sichern und um am Heck platz zu erhalten. Einfach in der Kurve wieder raus, wie es rein flog ist nicht so einfach möglich.
@@andreasbertram2761 Sehe ich auch so, der Sattel wird noch die Böschung runter gerutscht sein, siehe Leitplanke und Bremsspuren!

Looks like a job being done with inadequate equipment - one medium heavy wrecker and one heavy car wrecker. Everything was on it's limits with no safety margin and equipment put under excessive load. Great way to bend your crane jack legs, which should not have been down and that winch rope need a gun plank to protect it when it was "sawing" through the ground. Presumably the trailer was empty as no consideration had been made for it rolling over.
And wat kind of kampong road is tat allowing trailer to go on

In einer Folge haben die auch einen Auflieger und danach die Zugmaschine geboren. Der Mobilkran war ein 160 tonnen Teil.

I just don't see how these guys do this work with such light equipment A couple 45 metric ton rotators and they could lift it right up and set it back on the road. If they can get those semis down those roads a 45 metric ton rotator shouldn't be a problem.

Nein ein Autokran schafft nur 2 Tonnen und der LKW wiegt geladen 60 Tonnen dafür brauchst du einen Großen Mobilen Kran (dafür ist auf der Fläche der Straße nicht ausreichend Platz vorhanden und der kostet stündlich 60.000+ und der würde ebenfalls ewig brauchen bis der am einsatzort ist da die nur 20 kmh maximal fahren dürfen und können)

I see the people who are trying to recover the truck and trailer have not pulled a truck and trailer out before they should be pulling it out the same why it went in as the will run out of room like they did do but if they game in from behind the truck they could of just pulled it out without the worry of running out of room ot the trailer flipping over

Was spielen denn schon ein paar zerdückte Pflastersteine für eine Rolle, verglichen mit dem Gesamtschaden! Aber professionelle Arbeit schaut anders aus, da stimme ich Dir bei!

Lmimc. Was the operators gesuip? I'm sure my 12 year old son could have recovered that easier. Very lucky nothing went wrong there some1 could have gotten hurt or rolled over.these guys need to go to physics class. Gonna hurt some1 or break the equipment
