Just got back a week ago from a 3 day stay there. she was right about the late night partying after 10:30-11:00pm only place that had music and partying was the one sports bar and it got packed because everything closed up. Overall great resort.
We spent a week there In August and absolutely loved it. We stayed in a club level pool walk out and the club level pool was amazing. The staff was always helpful and friendly and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend! We are going back next year.
@@belledabear definitely better to book separately?! Even though it looks like you are booking direct through their sight with the packages, it is actually through a 3rd party vendor. You won’t get the free transportation or anything! Best to book resort on its own (travel agent can book direct! Let me know if you’d like some help from me) and then book flights separately
Hard to pick! I would say that EPM is probably their most well known one that people go back to time and time again. ERC is usually cheaper, but I really enjoyed it, thought service and resort were great! If cost isn't an issue go with EPM for your first time! but if you go with ERC, I dont' think you'll be disappointed!
I think it was a company wide change to the hydrotherapy as ours at Beloved in August was 30 minutes and missing features we enjoyed in the past. They seem to be pushing an upgraded hydro circuit with a higher charge. Love your videos!
i would book this direct to get the free transfers and such and just book southwest separately. That is what we usually do. Any package deals for flights and resort are a 3rd party
So the only thing extra you would be paying for is any spa treatments (if you book club room, you do get a free hydrotherapy), tips (usually $1/drink, $2-3 dollars breakfast, $5 for lunch, $10-20 for dinner, and $20s for transportation tip and possibly concierge tip), other than that you shouldn't really be paying for anything else unless you wanted to do any excursions.
it is included, but only if you are in an excellence club level room. And sorry, unsure about tequila options, neither my husband or I drink it, so didn't pay attention to that one
I went here last summer and the tomahawk steak is only available at the excellence VIP restaurant. It is free , I would highly recommend booking the VIP experience, it's worth it. There is a bottle of cuervo in this video shown in a room.
This video wins worst video review of riviera excellence. My favorite part is where she dumps in the entertainment but then says she didn’t go to them because she had TWO DINNERS. okay. Cool story.
Jajaja soy mexicano y te pido que no vayas a Cancun ya que los taxistas te quitaran todo tu dinero en un viaje de 10 min infoemrmence de la citación de Cancun y no vayan a Cancun
Thatched roofs and mature palm trees are exactly what I want to see at a tropical resort. So a plus, not a minus for us.

Does it get really quiet at the playa mujeres location at night too?

Your cut crease is perfection!
Love this resort, debating on going back in March.
Was Moses still bartending at the main bar by the pool?
@@BoognishWhoo i dont recall!
do you have expirience with the packages with airfare? is it worth it or better to book seperatly?

Which building would you recommend for Excellence Club Junior Suite Pool View room type?
I those rooms are offered in building 7 or 9...i would go 9 if you like more quiet. Building 7 if you want to look out onto the resort more.
My favourite resort. Love a swim up on the lazy river
great resort just quiet after the shows
Which one is better Excellent Playa Mujeres or Excellence Riviera? I’m trying to decide which one to pick.

One more question would you say the beach is better at Exccellence Playa Mujeres or Excellence Riviera Cancun?
@@josephaguaristi3188 I would say probably EPM...but it is much harder to get a beach bed there, where at ERC it was never a problem!
Thank you!
@@josephaguaristi3188 no problem! If you need help booking, let me know! Happy to help! No cost to you!

Question - where can I book an all inclusive for this resort AND have the option to fly on Southwest??
i would book this direct to get the free transfers and such and just book southwest separately. That is what we usually do. Any package deals for flights and resort are a 3rd party
Thank you!!!!!
Great video ! Quick question, in the checkin process, can you select the room you want to stay in ?
No, you can email ahead of time to the resort and put in a room or building request. But you won't find out room until it is ready.
What is your favourite excellence resort. We have stayed at El Carmen and playa mujeres. Trying to pick our 3 location.
so hard to choose! But if I had to, I would probably pick Excellence Oyster Bay!
Great video! We are new to All-Inclusive: what (if anything) can we expect to pay extra for at ERC?

I am also curious about the wait times for the restaurants. Did you have a hard time getting seated for any of them ?
We never did with a party of 2. May be a short wait time for more people.
Is the tomahawk steak included or is it extra? What tequila bottles were in the excellence lounge?
it is included, but only if you are in an excellence club level room. And sorry, unsure about tequila options, neither my husband or I drink it, so didn't pay attention to that one
