Origami Instructions: Paper Crane

Originally made for a younger sibling, but I figured maybe others might find this useful as well 🤷
Not my best crane ever, not my worst. I was more focused on explaining the steps than lining up the edges perfectly lol. I might've fixed the head a bit for the thumbnail...
I tried to explain the steps as best I could, and give tips where relevant. Hopefully at least a couple people find this helpful, and are able to have some fun with the origami piece I became obsessed with as a child 😊
There are some other types of paper cranes as well, like the kind that has a body that opens up, or the kind that has wings that flap. This just happens to be the kind that I found instructions for in the back of the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes when I was little. I've been folding it ever since, and I hope to bring that joy I found to anyone I can 💖
