Did this method tonight - same color, same application technique, absolutely INCREDIBLE! Exactly what I needed and much easier than foils. I have more of a grown (growing out) pixie and it worked really well with shorter layers. Do try! Thanks girl!! 💓💓💓
Hello .. I just would like to tell you how much I valued this upload. I have used a cap for highlighting .. oh gee, like you can see where you are even taking hair from , I have used foils and hated trying that .. paper all over the place , folding how and what, and what's happen' underneath ??,... but your process where you pick up the hair and start applying from the bottom omg .. just great !!! This way you don't get the bright yellow at the top of the strand to brass orange down the strand . I can see the strands and what's happening ! Thank you so much for this video .. loved it … big thumbs up !! My hair came out great ! and used this method on my hair that has been coloured for years. I can now add more highlights if I choose. Also , you have lovely skin .. perhaps, you will consider uploading a video of what you use morning and night .. thanks !! big thumbs up !!
This is Jessie James Decker's exact hair color brand, color, and process from 2013 with 2.2M views, including the one glove. It does work great! She is an inspiration for a lot including her new cook book!
@ Shelby Klaus You're right. Same brand and color. I would like to try that but i have a doubt: the shade on the box is Honey and the result is cool ash blonde, just the one I'd get. So, no brassy shades at all despite Honey written on the box? Thank you
Hi Thanks for the video. I used your technique and my hair looks great. The approach of multiple sections starting at the bottom really helped. I have done balayage look many times by myself but this is the first time I was this thorough with the sections. As a result, I didn’t have to go back to make corrections.
I'm glad you had the disclaimer. I tried to highlight my hair and I cant stress that you should always do a test strand to see how the color will turn out especially on previously colored hair. Because it could be disastrous (as happened to me it cost hundreds to repair!).
Yes! exactly! i had worked with Revlon Frost and Glow before so i knew how my hair would come out! Defiantly recommend doing a test strip on a piece of hair!!
Did you skip pieces of hair in the way you would do if you were doing highlights, or did you basically put the product on all of it? (Except the top of your hair)?
Definitely using this technique tonight! I've been watching videos for two days to figure out what I'm doing, so Thank You! Hair color aside, you have a beautiful tone to your skin. How do you tan your skin? Is that from a tanning product or sun?
Do you suppose this method could be used for Root touch up? My blonde has grown out quite a few inches and I’m trying to avoid the salon. You’re adorbs by the way, great video!!
Thank you so much! Essentially this stuff is bleach like how you're hair dresser would do highlights on your hair... so root touch up might work! Maybe do a test strand first! :)
So do you start the “timer” for 30-45 min as soon as you begin putting the color on or do you get the color on and then once it’s all on start counting the time? That’s where I always get confused. Your hair looks great btw! :)
THANKS! ;) so yeah this part is the trickiest part. so i just did this technique again but with the kit thats for blonde hair, so my hair came out much brighter blonde! and what i have done is i basically split my hair in two parts- top and bottom. so i look at the clock when i start to put the color on the bottom half. put the color on all the way around. then when i move on to the top half i look at the clock. so that way once the color has been on the bottom for about 45ish min, i can wash that out and then let the top half develop until its been on for 45ish min. that way the bottom half isnt going to like fry off and the top still gets its time to finish developing. the longer you let this sit on your hair the brighter blonde it will get so i like to let all the hair get its time but its hard bc by the time you get to the top part of your hair, the bottom half has been on there for so long. so thats what ive figured out works for me. i hope this helps!
Yeeees!! BRILLIANT! Haha thanks so much girl! I’m actually doing mine again right now. The first time I did mine was before I watched this video and obviously due to the top part not being on long enough, it didn’t take very well. Can’t wait to do this. Here I go...lol. Thanks again!😍
@@jessicayork0913 Hi, so after reading this and watching the video again; it looks like all of your hair has dye product in it by the the time you get to the top. So I'm confused: didn't you write that you washed the bottom half of your hair half way through? I would also love a tutorial on how you style your hair. It's beautiful!
I see yall askin bout this tan lol this bc I live at the beach! lol Its just natural! I just tan really easily. But in the winter when my tan fades I use Loving Tan 2 Hr express in Ultra Dark!
Did you leave any of your hair untouched or did you do every piece of hair?...I can't really tell...looks like some of it you kept dry and untouched. Besides the obvious root area.
Hey! On the bottom section I did every piece bc that hair was all virgin hair and had no left over blonde in the ends, but for the rest of my hair i did leave pieces throughout that were untouched! Hope that helps!
If you mean the color.. its the one for brunet/ dark blond hair, but the next time i did this i used the box for blond hair and it just gives you a more blonde highlight. so either one of the boxes of the Revlon Frost and Glow work great.. one just gives a brighter highlight than the other.
I've used this product - Revlon Frost & Glow - for many years and do recommend it. However, you should not hold the powder that close to your face. And don't mix it close to your nose and mouth like that. Otherwise, thumbs up.

Thank you so much! And this is just my natural tan from the sun :)
Omg it turned out so pretty
Your voice is so comforting 😊
Do you think this would work on layered haircut?
Yes!!
You’re so beautiful.
Looks thoroughly professional.

Thanks for the video. I put liquid bandage on my fingertips, instead of using gloves. Works great.
Looks amazing 🤩

Jessica York got a photo of the new look ?

This was just my natural hair color that had grown out from balayage done way before this.
Ooh, that turned out so great!
Thanks so much!!!
It turned out amazing! What kind of haircut do you have? I’ve been wanting to cut my hair shoulder length.
I cut it my self! such a DIY-er! lol I just cut it all the way around at that sholder length!
Jessica York that’s awesome! Maybe a haircut tutorial would be great.😊
Your hair and smile are adorable
Did you use purple shampoo after for toning?
Yes!
Really really amazing ...I love your look ...it's easy to do by myself
Thank you so much!! Its super easy to do on yourself!!!
I really like this method, the only thing that worries me is the hand without the glove
Finally I find which color I need to use. thanks 😘
can you do a tutorial on how you styled your hair here? I love it!
Have dark dark brown hair hope it works. Got toner and developer from Sally’s.
Wow! I love it
Beautiful skin girl! You Glow!!❤
Thank you so much 😀
@@jessicayork0913 How do you get that skin color?
@@ferer1861 I would like to know that too

Can u please tell me what is the base color of your hair?
Looks like natural dark blonde level 7 maybe?
Its my natural hair color where it had grown out from balayage that i had before.

Beautiful! ❤❤❤❤
Very nice!
